At a glance

  • Chelsea sells men's home tickets to members through an application window, a free draw for each game. True Blue costs £60 a season and CFC Blue £45.
  • True Blue and True Blue+ members get two chances per game. Applying early makes no difference, and you hear within four working days.
  • The biggest games need loyalty points. Chelsea v Liverpool needed 11 points, so a brand new member could not apply.
  • Lose a draw and you get priority on the ticket exchange, the club's own resale service, before it opens to all members.
  • As of 31 October 2026, no home window is open. The windows for Aston Villa and Newcastle have not been announced.

How to get Chelsea tickets starts with a membership: True Blue costs £60 a season and lets you enter the application window, a free prize draw, for each men’s home game. Tickets are drawn at random, so applying early does not help. If you lose, you get priority on the ticket exchange, the club’s own resale service.

Every game, and how far its sale has gone, is on the Chelsea tickets page.

How do Chelsea tickets work?

Chelsea tickets are sold to members through a draw, not first come, first served. Chelsea is a Premier League football club from west London. Its home, Stamford Bridge in Fulham, holds 40,044 people, according to the Premier League Handbook for 2026/27.

The club says everyone at a game needs a current membership, unless they hold a season ticket. Season ticket holders already have their seats, and members apply for the rest. These words explain nearly all of it:

  • Membership: a paid plan for one season. Most tiers let you apply for tickets, and the ticket costs extra.
  • Application window: the set days when members apply for one game. It works as a ballot, a free draw.
  • Loyalty points: a record of the games you have attended. The biggest games need a minimum number.
  • Category: the price band for a game, from G, the lowest, to AA, the highest.
  • Ticket exchange: fans who cannot go list their ticket, and other members buy it.
  • Ticket forwarding: sending your ticket to another member for free.
  • Club Chelsea: the club’s hospitality service, which sells seats with food and drink.
  • General sale: a sale open beyond the window. It is rare at Chelsea.

What is the best way to get Chelsea tickets?

The best way to get Chelsea tickets is True Blue if you want to go several times a season, and Club Chelsea if you need one fixed date. A friend who can forward you a ticket beats both. This table ranks every route by your real chance:

Rank Route Who can use it Your real chance
1 Forwarded ticket Anyone with at least the £15 Ticket Forwarding Membership The surest way in, if you know a member
2 Club Chelsea hospitality Anyone, for packages other than Westview Decided by availability, not a draw
3 True Blue window True Blue, True Blue+ and Junior Blue members Two chances per game
4 CFC Blue window CFC Blue members One chance, with some tickets set aside
5 Ticket exchange Members with no ticket for that game. Applicants who lost go first A second chance when fans list seats
6 General sale Members, when one is held Rare, and £5 above member prices
7 Season ticket True Blue, True Blue+ and Junior Blue members on the waitlist A long-term aim, ranked by loyalty points

How hard is it to get Chelsea tickets? Hard for the biggest games. Chelsea publishes no success rates, but Leeds, Crystal Palace and Liverpool all sold out at the club after their windows.

Which route fits you depends on what you want:

  • One game this season, starting from zero: buy True Blue and apply for a game with no points limit. The Leeds and Crystal Palace ticket news set none.
  • One big game on a set date: without the points, the window is closed to you, so look at Club Chelsea or a forwarded ticket.
  • Several games a year: buy True Blue and apply for every game you can make. Each ticket you use also builds points for bigger games.

How to get Chelsea tickets for the first time

To get Chelsea home tickets for the first time, buy a membership, check your account details, then apply in the window for a game with no points limit. Do these steps in order:

  1. Create your account. Set up a Chelsea FC account in the Chelsea Official App. The same login works on the website and the ticketing site.
  2. Buy True Blue. It costs £60 a season at memberships.chelseafc.com. The Chelsea membership guide compares every tier.
  3. Check your date of birth. It sets your price for the whole season, so fix any error with the ticket office first.
  4. Watch the dates. The club’s on-sale dates page lists each window.
  5. Apply. Sign in, open Men’s Ticketing under Tickets & Packages, then choose apply for tickets, using the option for your membership type.
  6. Choose your areas. Enter how many tickets you want and up to two preferred areas. You cannot pick exact seats.
  7. Add your card. A £0.01 check confirms it, and no money is taken at that stage.
  8. Wait for the email. Chelsea replies within four working days of the window closing, and charges winners at about that time.
  9. Lost? Use your priority. The Chelsea ticket exchange guide shows how to buy there.
  10. Won? Check the app. Your digital ticket appears on the Chelsea Official App before the game.

Which mistakes cost people a ticket?

  • Skipping a window. Only applicants who lost get the priority period on the exchange.
  • Joining too late. For Leeds at home, memberships bought on or after Friday 9 October could not enter the window.
  • Mixing tiers in a group. Mixing True Blue and CFC Blue puts the whole group in the CFC Blue window.
  • Paying with account credit. Credit held on your ticket account does not work in application windows.
  • Buying the wrong tier. CFC Blue gives no season ticket waitlist place, and Ticket Forwarding cannot apply at all.

How does the Chelsea application window work?

The Chelsea application window is a ballot for one home game, held about four to six weeks before the match. Recent windows opened at 12pm on a Monday and closed at 12pm on the Thursday. You can apply at any time while it is open, because the club says applying early gives no advantage.

Once the window closes, tickets are given out at random. True Blue and True Blue+ members apply for the first allocation and are then entered in the CFC Blue window too, so they get two chances. You can amend or withdraw an application until the window closes, with no effect on your odds.

One application can cover four people at most, and each person needs their own eligible membership. The group wins or loses together, and its size does not change the odds.

Timeline for one real match: Chelsea v Leeds

Chelsea v Leeds on Saturday 21 November 2026 is a Category A game, and it shows how a sale runs:

When What happens
12pm, Monday 12 October 2026 The window opens, and holders can start listing seats on the exchange
12pm, Thursday 15 October 2026 The window closes
Within four working days Every applicant gets an email, and winners are charged
Monday 26 October 2026 The priority exchange opens for applicants who lost
Date to be confirmed The exchange opens to all members, and ticket forwarding opens
12pm, Saturday 21 November 2026 The exchange closes, three hours before kick-off
3pm, Saturday 21 November 2026 Kick-off

When do Chelsea tickets go on sale?

Chelsea tickets go on sale in a separate window for each game, and the club announces it in that game’s ticket news. The all on-sale dates page collects every window and exchange date in one place. Dates can move, so check again before you plan a trip.

How do Chelsea loyalty points work?

Chelsea loyalty points are a record of the games you have attended, and the club uses them to limit who can apply for its most wanted games. Chelsea v Liverpool needed 11 points or more, and everyone in a group had to meet that number.

  • Home games: you earn points for attending, once your ticket is scanned at the turnstile, the entry gate.
  • Exchange and forwarded tickets: since 2026/27, these earn points for the person who attends.
  • Away games: you earn points for buying the ticket.
  • Each game has its own value: Leeds or Crystal Palace at home earn three points, and Liverpool one.
  • New season: after the first month, only the current season’s points count for ticket sales.

Can you get Chelsea tickets without a membership?

You cannot apply for normal Chelsea home tickets without a buying membership, but you have two other routes. A £15 Ticket Forwarding Membership lets a member send you their ticket, and Club Chelsea sells packages outside Westview with no membership at all.

How does ticket forwarding work?

Ticket forwarding lets a Chelsea season ticket holder or member send their ticket to you, if you hold an eligible membership. It opens on a date set for each game and closes three hours before kick-off. A forwarded ticket cannot then be listed on the exchange, and Ticket Forwarding members earn no loyalty points.

Is Club Chelsea hospitality worth it?

Club Chelsea hospitality is worth it if you must be there on a set date and can pay more for a seat with food and drink. It is not worth it if you are happy to wait for a win in the window. Westview, the upper West Stand, needs a membership for the buyer only, and each buyer can get up to four tickets.

Club Chelsea tickets cannot be refunded unless the match is cancelled, postponed or moved by more than 48 hours.

How much are Chelsea tickets?

Chelsea tickets for adult members start at £28 for a clear view in Category G and £52 in Category AA, the highest band, in 2026/27. Restricted-view seats, where part of your view is blocked, start at £14. You pay for your membership on top, and winners also pay booking fees.

What you pay for Official price What it gets you
True Blue+ £80 a season Same ticket access as True Blue, plus the club’s CFC+ video service
True Blue £60 a season Two chances per game and a waitlist place
CFC Blue £45 a season One chance per game
Junior Blue, under-16s £35 a season Applications with an adult and a waitlist place
Ticket Forwarding £15 a season You can receive a ticket, but not apply
Category AA ticket From £52 Liverpool so far
Category A ticket From £48 Leeds and Crystal Palace so far
Category G ticket From £28 The lowest band
General sale ticket Member price plus £5 Rare

The lowest prices in AA, A and B are in the Family Stand, which has booking rules. Every stand and age is in the guide to how much Chelsea tickets cost.

How do you get cheap Chelsea tickets?

The lowest prices for Chelsea tickets are in lower-category games, from £28 for an adult and £14 for an under-20. Accepting a restricted-view seat when you apply can lower the price further, and it also improves your chances. Your age on 31 July 2026 sets your concession, a lower price for certain ages.

How do you get Chelsea away tickets?

Chelsea away tickets go on sale to season ticket holders first, then to members, so a member needs to act on the day. An away ticket is a seat in the part of another club’s ground kept for visiting fans. Where it applies, the UK Away Scheme buys before both groups.

Sunderland v Chelsea on Sunday 8 November 2026 shows how it works. Chelsea received 3,110 tickets. Holders could buy one each from 10am to 1.30pm on Tuesday 20 October, and members one each from 2pm to 5pm, online only.

  • Next sale: Nottingham Forest v Chelsea on Friday 27 November goes on sale to holders on Thursday 5 November, then to members at 2pm.
  • Price: adults pay £30, because Premier League clubs agreed on 19 March 2026 to keep this cap for two more seasons.
  • Points: some away games are sold on loyalty points, and buying an away ticket earns points.
  • Refunds: away tickets cannot be refunded.
  • Other clubs’ sales: sales on the home club’s website are for that club’s own fans.

How do you get a Chelsea season ticket?

You get a Chelsea season ticket by holding True Blue, True Blue+ or Junior Blue and rising up a waitlist ranked by loyalty points. A season ticket is one payment for your own seat at every Premier League home game. Adult prices for 2026/27 start at £700 in the family area and £880 behind the goals.

Chelsea publishes no average wait and no points target. The waitlist uses your points from a rolling three seasons, so go to as many games as you can and renew every year.

Is it better than single games? It is if you can get to most home games, because holders are asked to use their seat for at least 13 Premier League home games. It is not worth chasing if you live far away. The Chelsea season ticket guide has every price and rule.

Can you bring children, a group or a disabled fan to Stamford Bridge?

You can bring children, a group or a disabled fan to Stamford Bridge, but each person needs their own ticket and an eligible membership, so plan before a window opens.

  • Bringing children? Under-16s must apply with an eligible member aged 18 or over, and sit next to someone aged 18 or over at the game.
  • Want the Family Stand? Pick the East Lower North as your first preference and leave the second blank. Adult and under-23 tickets there must be booked with at least one junior ticket.
  • Going with friends? Apply together, up to four people. Everyone must be eligible for the same window.
  • Disabled fans: an accessible window runs on the same dates. Call the Access Team on 0371 811 2012.
  • Stuck? Chelsea runs in-person support sessions for fans who need help applying.

How can a tourist or first-timer get Chelsea tickets?

A tourist can get Chelsea tickets most reliably through Club Chelsea hospitality, because a window needs a membership and some luck. It costs more, but packages outside Westview need no membership and no draw.

  • Coming from abroad? You can join as a member from overseas. A lost draw leaves you with no seat on your dates, though, so sort out your ticket before you book flights.
  • Near London and flexible? True Blue and a lower-demand game are a sensible first step.
  • Check the date first: TV can move league games, and the club marks unconfirmed games as TBC.

What happens on matchday at Stamford Bridge?

On matchday at Stamford Bridge, you enter with a digital ticket on the Chelsea Official App. Turnstiles usually open two hours before weekend games and 90 minutes before evening games, and the club asks you to be inside 30 minutes before kick-off. All times here are UK time.

  • By Tube: Fulham Broadway, on the District line, is the nearest station and has lift access.
  • Travelling from outside London? West Brompton and Imperial Wharf, on the Overground, are about a 15-minute walk away. Chelsea advises against driving.
  • Road closure: Fulham Road closes one and a half hours before kick-off, so do not plan on a drop-off there.
  • Bags and paying: nothing larger than A4, and the stadium is cashless.
  • Late arrivals: there is no re-admittance, and no entry after the 60th minute.

To see where each area is, read the Stamford Bridge seating plan.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need to be a member to get Chelsea tickets?

For almost every men's home game, yes. Chelsea sells tickets to True Blue+, True Blue, CFC Blue and Junior Blue members through application windows, and the ticket exchange is for members too. The exceptions are Club Chelsea packages other than Westview, a rare general sale, and tickets forwarded to a £15 Ticket Forwarding member.

How much is a Chelsea ticket per match?

For 2026/27, an adult Chelsea member pays from £28 in Category G and from £52 in Category AA for a clear-view seat, and from £14 for a restricted view. In the top three categories the stand changes the price. Membership is extra: True Blue costs £60 a season and CFC Blue £45.

How can I contact Chelsea Football Club?

For tickets, email tickets@chelseafc.com or call the Ticket Office on 0371 811 1905. General enquiries go to 0371 811 1955, or 0044 207 386 9373 from abroad. Supporters with access needs can call the Access Team on 0371 811 2012. Membership questions go through the Contact Us form on the club's website.

Where is the best place to buy Chelsea FC tickets?

The best place to buy Chelsea FC tickets is the club. Members apply in each game's application window, then use the club's ticket exchange if they lose, and both sell at the member price. Club Chelsea hospitality is the club's own route with no draw. On resale platforms, sellers set their own prices.

When do Chelsea tickets go on sale?

Each Chelsea home game has its own application window, held about four to six weeks before the match. Dates appear in the club's ticket news and on its all on-sale dates page. Recent windows opened at 12pm on a Monday and closed at 12pm on the Thursday. As of 31 October 2026, the next two are unannounced.

How hard is it to get Chelsea tickets?

Getting Chelsea tickets is hard for the biggest games. Home tickets go to members through a random draw, Chelsea publishes no success rates, and Liverpool at home needed 11 loyalty points. Lower-demand games with no points limit are the place for a new member to start, and applicants who lose get priority on the exchange.

Do I need to be online the moment Chelsea tickets go on sale?

No. Chelsea's application window removes the need to be on the website at a set time. You can apply at any point while the window is open, usually a few days, and the club says applying early gives no advantage. Tickets are then allocated at random after the window closes.

How do I get Chelsea away tickets?

Chelsea sells away tickets to season ticket holders first, then members, usually one ticket each and online only. For Sunderland v Chelsea, members could buy from 2pm to 5pm on Tuesday 20 October. Some away games are sold on loyalty points. Adult prices in the Premier League are capped at £30, and tickets cannot be refunded.

Are there any tips for securing a Chelsea season ticket?

Hold True Blue, True Blue+ or Junior Blue, because CFC Blue gives no waitlist place. Renew every year, and go to as many games as you can, because the waitlist ranks loyalty points from a rolling three seasons. Make sure your ticket is scanned at the turnstile, because points depend on it.

Can I get tickets for Chelsea v Arsenal or Chelsea v Everton online?

Not yet at the club. Chelsea v Arsenal on Saturday 13 March 2027 and Chelsea v Everton on Saturday 15 May 2027 have no application window so far. When they open, members apply online through the club's ticketing site. Big games can need loyalty points, so check each game's ticket news.
