Stamford Bridge, on Fulham Road in south-west London, opened on 28 April 1877 and has been Chelsea's home since 1905; it is also the main home venue of Chelsea Women. It holds 40,044, the all-seated figure in the Premier League data feed, which the club rounds to about 40,000.
Chelsea sell their home league games through members' ballots. True Blue+, True Blue, CFC Blue and Junior Blue members apply in a window that opens at midday on a Monday and closes at midday on the Thursday, and results arrive by email within four working days. Unsuccessful applicants then get priority on the club's ticket exchange before it opens to all members. The lowest adult member price in Category A is £27, for a restricted-view seat.
This season the ground also stages Shakhtar Donetsk's Champions League home games: Sporting CP on Tuesday 3 November, now played, then Fenerbahçe and Real Madrid. In August a four-match package went first to Chelsea season ticket holders and members and to Ukrainian fans with codes. A three-match package for those games then went on general sale, from £164 as of 15 October. Single-match tickets for Sporting CP followed on 15 October, while those for Fenerbahçe and Real Madrid had not been announced on 31 October.
16 events at Stamford Bridge are listed below. Seats listed on Hellotickets start from £118 across them (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Next up: Chelsea v Leeds on Saturday 21 November.
On 31 October, Chelsea v Leeds on Saturday 21 November was sold out at the club after a ballot that closed on 15 October, with the priority ticket exchange open to unsuccessful applicants since 26 October. The ballots for Crystal Palace on Wednesday 2 December and Liverpool on Saturday 5 December had closed too, and their exchange dates were still to be confirmed. For Aston Villa, Arsenal and the other games from late December onwards, ballot dates had not been announced. The Chelsea tickets 2026/27 hub follows each ballot as it opens.

Inside Stamford Bridge: stands, travel and Club Chelsea
Seating plan and stands
The four stands each have their own history and number of tiers:
- Matthew Harding Stand: behind the north goal, on two tiers. Opened in 1994 as the North Stand and renamed in 1996, it is where the club says many of the most vocal Chelsea fans sit, above all in the lower tier, which has rail seating for safe standing.
- Shed End (South Stand): behind the south goal on the Fulham Road side, on two tiers, opened in 1997, also with rail seating. Home supporters share it with the away section, so “Shed End” on a ticket does not mean you are sitting with the visitors.
- East Stand: along the east touchline, on three tiers. Opened in 1974, it is the oldest part of the stadium and houses the tunnel, the dugouts and the dressing rooms.
- West Stand: along the west touchline, the largest stand, completed in 2001, with about 13,500 seats in lower, middle and upper tiers plus executive boxes and hospitality suites.
Visiting clubs have described their Shed End allocation as the lower tier only, or as both tiers, and the Shed Upper lift sits inside the away section. The standard league allocation is about 3,000, and away fans take the whole stand for domestic cup ties.
On Hellotickets, “Shortside” listings are behind a goal, in the Matthew Harding Stand or the Shed End, and “Longside” listings are in the East or West Stand, with “Central” near halfway; some use the club's own area names, such as Westview. A Shortside listing at the Shed End can sit next to the away section, so check the block before you pay. The Stamford Bridge seating plan takes each stand in turn.
Getting there
- Underground: Fulham Broadway, on the District line, is the nearest station and has lift access. If you change at Earl's Court, take a Wimbledon-bound train.
- Overground: West Brompton and Imperial Wharf, on the Mildmay line, are each about a 15-minute walk, according to the club.
- Bus: routes 14, 211 and 414 stop on Fulham Road outside the stadium.
- River: the closest Thames pier is Chelsea Harbour.
Fulham Road is closed to traffic from 90 minutes before kick-off, and the ticket office is behind the Shed End. Turnstiles open two hours before weekend kick-offs and 90 minutes before evening ones; there is no re-admittance and no entry after the 60th minute. Home supporters get in with digital tickets on the Chelsea Official App.
The A4 bag limit (30cm x 20cm x 10cm) is strictly applied for 2026/27, every bag is searched and the club has no bag storage, though an independent bag drop operates at Fulham Broadway Shopping Centre. The stadium is cashless, and under-16s must be with someone aged 18 or over. Pubs near the ground do not admit away fans: the club points visiting supporters to Earl's Court, about 25-30 minutes' walk away.
Hospitality
Chelsea's matchday hospitality is sold as Club Chelsea. The West Stand, the largest at the ground, holds the executive boxes and hospitality suites as well as its lower, middle and upper tiers of seats.
