Manchester United tickets 2026/27

Official Members only, with ballots for Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal: how Manchester United sell Old Trafford tickets in 2026/27.

Updated 28 Oct 2026

Manchester United keep every Premier League home ticket for Official Members: there is no general public sale, not even for the seats season ticket holders hand back. Most league games are sold to members directly, while the visits of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal go to a members' ballot.

The fixture list below covers 15 United home games at Old Trafford, in the Premier League and the Champions League. Resale listings on Hellotickets start from £118 across them (checked 5 Nov 2026).

United's next home game: Man Utd v Brentford on Saturday 28 November.

Three ballot deadlines fall in November: 8am on Wednesday 11 November for Liverpool, 8am on Tuesday 17 November for Chelsea and 8am on Tuesday 24 November for Arsenal. The dates and kick-offs of those three games are still to be confirmed.

How to get Manchester United tickets

How to buy Manchester United tickets (official route)

Where United sell

Home tickets are sold only at tickets.manutd.com and through the club's official travel partners, Champions Travel and Travel Connection. Any other seller is a resale platform.

Official Membership comes first

An adult Official Membership for 2026/27 costs £37.50. There is also a Premium tier at £70, an Under-16 membership at £20 and a Forwarding membership at £30. Without one you cannot buy a Premier League ticket; our Manchester United membership guide covers each type.

League games: direct sales and three ballots

Most league fixtures are sold to members directly, with no ballot. For this season's visits of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, members apply in a ballot instead, closing at 8am on 11, 17 and 24 November respectively. In October, every other league game listed here was on sale to members.

Club resale in the app

Season ticket holders and members who cannot use a ticket list it in the official Man Utd app. Resale is active as standard for Premier League games, generally until two weeks before the match, and returned seats go back on sale exclusively to Official Members on tickets.manutd.com. That is why no league game ever reaches a public sale.

Champions League and cup ties

Cup and European sales are set after each draw. The Champions League home games went on sale on 29 August to Official Members and to season ticket holders who had opted out of the competition, and any further tickets also go to members. RB Leipzig on Tuesday 8 December is Category C and Bayern Munich on Wednesday 20 January is Category A, both kicking off at 8pm.

Match categories

Adult prices start at £62 in Category A, £55 in B, £44 in C and £33 in D. Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are Category A; Coventry, Hull City and RB Leipzig are Category C; the other league games listed are Category B. Manchester United resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand

As returned seats never reach the public, resale is the only route for non-members, and the opponent sets the level. Liverpool sits clear at the top of United's home list, followed by Manchester United v Arsenal, with Chelsea and the final home game against Fulham next. Leeds and the Champions League visit of Bayern Munich come just below.

The lowest starting prices are for Sunderland, RB Leipzig, Newcastle, Brentford and Coventry, with Nottingham Forest, Everton, Crystal Palace and Hull City in between.

Inside the ground, listings often open in the second tier of the East Stand ("East Stand Tier 2" on Hellotickets) or in the upper tier behind a goal ("Shortside Upper Tier"). Stretford End seats carry their own label and sit higher, as do lower-tier and touchline ("Longside") seats, while hospitality and away-section seats are listed apart. The away section is on the East Stand side, so check where a block sits before buying there.

Sellers set their own prices, far above the club's categories, and the final price is shown before you pay. United's tickets are app-only NFC passes.

Old Trafford: stands, seating and getting there

Old Trafford, on Sir Matt Busby Way, has been United's home since 1910 and holds 74,158 for 2026/27. In March 2025 the club announced plans for a new 100,000-seat stadium to replace it, with no fixed date for any move. The Old Trafford seating plan shows the blocks of its four stands:

  • Stretford End (West Stand), behind the west goal: the home end, two tiers, with 6,000 rail seats in the second tier certified for safe standing in November 2025.
  • Sir Alex Ferguson Stand (North Stand), along the north touchline: three tiers and about 26,000 seats, the largest stand.
  • Sir Bobby Charlton Stand (South Stand), along the south touchline: a single tier with most of the executive suites and the dugouts, and the railway line behind it.
  • East Stand, behind the east goal: two tiers and nearly 12,000 seats, with the away section and the disabled supporters' section.

Rail seats are spread across all four quadrants, 13,577 in total, and the club has a Family Stand for families of season ticket holders.

The Old Trafford tram stop, shared with the cricket ground, is within a five-minute walk, and Imperial War Museum and Wharfside on the Trafford Park line are close too. Manchester United Football Ground station no longer has a matchday service, so main-line travellers change at Piccadilly. Buses 255, 256 and 263 run from Piccadilly Gardens to Chester Road, and official car parks must be booked online.

Tickets are NFC passes in the Manchester United App, added to Apple or Google Wallet; screenshots are not valid. Bags larger than 20 x 15 x 5 cm are not allowed, much stricter than A4, and the bag drops charge £5.

Manchester United away tickets

Visiting supporters sit in the south-east corner, on the East Stand side between the East Stand and the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand. The club's 2026/27 price map marks sections E230 to E233 and STH229 as "Away Supporters". Their turnstiles, at the south-east corner, open two hours before kick-off, and the away bag drop is in the E2 car park.

If you support United and buy on resale, avoid those sections: the Stretford End is the home end, and the other stands are home areas too.
