How to get Chelsea v Leeds tickets

Chelsea sell men's home tickets to members first, through an application window for each match. For Leeds, the route has three steps:

  1. Members' application window (closed). True Blue+, True Blue, CFC Blue and Junior Blue members could apply from 12pm on 12 October to 12pm on 15 October. Applying early made no difference: tickets go one per person, with up to four per application, and results arrive by email within four working days.
  2. Ticket exchange (priority period open). Season ticket holders and members list seats they cannot use. Unsuccessful applicants have had priority access since Monday 26 October; the date when every member can buy, and ticket forwarding, are still TBC. It shuts at midday on 21 November, three hours before kick-off, and exchange purchases are non-refundable.
  3. General sale (rare). When Chelsea hold one, prices are £5 above the member rate.

Leeds is a Category A match: adult member prices start at £27 for a restricted-view seat and £48 for the lowest unrestricted one. True Blue membership costs £60 a season and CFC Blue £45. Without one, resale is the fallback: sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, sometimes above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Our guide on how to get Chelsea tickets compares the memberships.

Where to sit at Stamford Bridge

Behind the north goal, the Matthew Harding Stand is home to many of Chelsea's most vocal fans, above all in its lower tier, which has rail seating. The Shed End, behind the south goal on the Fulham Road side, is split between home supporters and the away section, where the Leeds following will be. The East Stand on one touchline holds the tunnel and dugouts; the West Stand opposite is the largest, with three tiers and executive boxes.

Hellotickets uses 'Shortside' for seats behind a goal, 'Longside' for the touchlines and 'Central' for the halfway area. Some listings name the spot: 'East Lower (Family Centre)' matches the family section that Wikipedia places in the East Stand lower tier (the club site does not confirm it), and 'Westview' or 'West Stand' seats sit on the west side. The Stamford Bridge seating plan maps each block.
