Listings open in the Shortside Upper Tier at £214. Lower tiers behind the goals come close behind, the touchline tiers sit a little higher, and the West Stand areas and the central upper touchline top the table. Away-section seats are priced far above the rest, 'seller's choice' leaves the exact block open, and hospitality is listed on its own.

Chelsea v Newcastle: date, kick-off and how to watch

Newcastle come to Stamford Bridge on Sunday 3 January 2027, the first weekend of the new year, for a 2pm Premier League kick-off. Chelsea have not set the members' application window yet, and at the last official check the match was not on sale yet at the official seller. As with each Chelsea home league game, the first tickets will go to members who apply in that window, not to a public sale.

Seats listed on Hellotickets currently start at £214, in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026). For Newcastle supporters this is one of the longest trips of the season, so it pays to know how the Shed End away section works before buying.

Kick-off is at 2pm on Sunday 3 January 2027, at Stamford Bridge in Fulham, London SW6. The 3pm Saturday blackout does not touch a Sunday afternoon game; the UK broadcasters announce their selections for the round, and the Premier League publishes them in its TV listings.

Weekend entry times apply: turnstiles open two hours before kick-off, and Fulham Road shuts to traffic from 90 minutes before.

How to get Chelsea v Newcastle tickets

If you hold a Chelsea membership

Watch for the club's ticket news for Newcastle, which will give the application window and the price category. True Blue (£60 a season) and Junior Blue (£35) members apply for the first allocation, True Blue+ (£80) members can apply too, and part of the allocation is ring-fenced for CFC Blue (£45). When you apply within the window makes no difference; each person can get one ticket, an application covers up to four, and Chelsea email the results within four working days.

Miss out, and you get a priority period on the official ticket exchange before it opens to all members. Season ticket holders and members list seats there; it closes three hours before kick-off, and nothing bought on it can be refunded.

If you do not

Chelsea rarely put league tickets on general sale, and when they do, prices are £5 above the member rate. A £15 Ticket Forwarding Membership lets a member pass a ticket to you. Otherwise, resale listings on Hellotickets come from sellers who set their own prices, sometimes above face value, with the final price shown before you pay. The other home games are on our Chelsea tickets page.

Where to sit at Stamford Bridge

Newcastle's supporters will be in the away section of the Shed End, the south stand by Fulham Road, which home fans share. Wikipedia gives the standard league allocation as about 3,000. Pubs around the ground do not let away fans in, and Chelsea point visitors to Earl's Court, roughly a 25-30 minute walk.

For home seats, the Matthew Harding Stand behind the north goal is the vocal end. The East Stand, the oldest part of the ground, has the dugouts and, according to Wikipedia, has housed the family section in its lower tier since 2005/06, though the club site does not confirm it. The West Stand is the largest. Hellotickets labels touchline seats 'Longside', seats behind the goals 'Shortside' and the halfway area 'Central'.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a Chelsea ticket per match?

There is no single price: Chelsea put every home game in a category from AA to G. In 2026/27, restricted-view adult member seats start between £14 and £27 and unrestricted seats between £28 and £52, depending on the category. Newcastle's category has not been announced, and general sale tickets, if any, add £5.

How much are Chelsea v Newcastle tickets?

Chelsea have not published this match's category, so the face value is not known yet. On Hellotickets, resale seats start at £214 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026). Sellers price their own listings, which can be above face value, and the full price is displayed before payment.

Can I buy Chelsea v Newcastle tickets without being a member?

Not through the members' application window or the ticket exchange, which both need membership, and Chelsea's general sales are rare. Without one, you can join (CFC Blue costs £45 a season, True Blue £60), receive a ticket from a member with a £15 Ticket Forwarding Membership, or buy on resale.

Is Chelsea v Newcastle sold out?

It has not been on sale yet. At the last official check (5 Nov 2026), the match was not on sale yet at the official seller, with the members' application window still to be announced. Resale listings are on Hellotickets in the meantime, and sellers set their own prices.

What time is kick-off for Chelsea v Newcastle?

Kick-off is at 2pm on Sunday 3 January 2027 at Stamford Bridge. At weekends, turnstiles open two hours before the start; there is no re-admittance once you leave and no entry after the 60th minute.

What channel is Chelsea v Newcastle on?

That depends on the UK broadcasters, who choose their Premier League games and announce them through the league's TV listings. Because it kicks off at 2pm on a Sunday, the blackout on Saturday 3pm matches does not apply. Look for the confirmed channel in the days before 3 January.
