The table opens with the Shortside Upper Tier at £201, and the central upper touchline and the lower tier behind the goals begin close by. Lower-tier touchline seats and the West Stand areas sit higher. A 'Blues Dining' line, hospitality packages and 'seller's choice' listings appear separately, and away-section seats are priced far above the rest.

Chelsea v Ipswich: date, kick-off and how to watch

Ipswich are scheduled to play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 20 February 2027 in the Premier League, though the date is provisional and the kick-off time has not been set. Chelsea had not opened, or even dated, a members' application window at the last official check, when the match was not on sale yet at the official seller.

For now, resale is the only way to buy: seats listed on Hellotickets start at £201 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026). Ipswich supporters making the trip from Suffolk will be placed in the away section of the Shed End.

The league's provisional date is Saturday 20 February 2027, with kick-off to be confirmed, at Stamford Bridge in Fulham, south-west London. Provisional means it may still move when the UK broadcasters make their selections.

Should it stay at 3pm on the Saturday, there will be no live UK broadcast, since Premier League games at that time are blacked out. A move to another slot would bring a confirmed broadcaster in the league's TV listings, and the Chelsea Official App will carry the final time.

How to get Chelsea v Ipswich tickets

Chelsea's process for a home league game, applied to Ipswich:

  1. Hold a membership. True Blue (£60 a season) and Junior Blue (£35) members apply for the first allocation, CFC Blue (£45) has some tickets ring-fenced, and True Blue+ (£80) members can also apply.
  2. Watch the ticket news. Chelsea publish each match's window and price category there; nothing had appeared for Ipswich at the last check.
  3. Apply once, for up to four. Timing inside the window does not change your chances, and tickets are allocated one per person.
  4. Check your inbox. Results arrive by email within four working days of the window closing.
  5. Use the exchange if you miss out. Unsuccessful applicants get a priority period on the club's ticket exchange before other members; it closes three hours before kick-off and its sales are non-refundable.

Without membership, the club route is thin: general sales are rare and priced £5 above member rates. Resale listings on Hellotickets fill that gap. Sellers fix their prices, which may exceed face value, so the club route is usually cheaper if you can use it. The How To Get Chelsea Tickets guide has more.

Good to know before you go

  • Overground alternativesWest Brompton and Imperial Wharf, both on the Overground's Mildmay line, are about 15 minutes' walk from the ground, a useful option if the District line does not suit your route.
  • Check the stand on resaleHome and away fans share the Shed End. If you are a home supporter buying on resale, make sure the listing is not in the away section.
  • Hospitality is separateStamford Bridge's hospitality comes under the Club Chelsea name. On Hellotickets, hospitality packages and the 'Blues Dining' line are listed apart from ordinary seats.

Where to sit at Stamford Bridge

Stamford Bridge opened in 1877 and has been Chelsea's home since 1905, but its four stands are far younger. Behind the north goal, the Matthew Harding Stand (opened 1994, renamed 1996) is the home end, with rail seating in the lower tier. Behind the south goal, the Shed End (1997) combines home sections with the away section, where Ipswich fans will sit.

The East Stand, from 1974, is the oldest and houses the dressing rooms and dugouts; the West Stand, finished in 2001, is the biggest. On Hellotickets, Longside and Central listings are in those side stands, Shortside listings behind the goals, and Westview, West View Central and West Stand listings on the west side.

Can I buy Chelsea v Ipswich tickets without being a member?
