How we check prices and official sales

Updated 24 October 2026

Two things on our pages change often: the state of the official sale and resale prices. Here is where they come from.

Official sale status

We read the official ticketing pages of the seller (club, league, venue or promoter) and record one of three states:

  • On sale: tickets can be bought from the official seller, sometimes only by members or in a priority window, which we name.
  • Not on sale yet: the sale has not opened; announced sale dates are listed.
  • Sold out: no standard tickets left at the official seller.

The “checked” date is our last reading. Always confirm on the official site before buying.

Resale prices

“From £X” is the lowest listing we saw on Hellotickets on the date shown, by area. Sellers set their own prices, which can be above face value; the final price is shown on Hellotickets before you pay. Prices are updated at least weekly, and daily in the week before an event.

Dates and kick-off times

Dates and times come from the leagues, clubs and venues. Unconfirmed kick-off times are shown as “TBC” and provisional dates are marked as such.

Corrections

If something is wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will check it against the official source.
