Authenticated ticketsRefund policySecure payment
Borussia Dortmund sell home tickets in a presale that usually opens four to six weeks before each match, and club members are let into the online shop one to two days before anyone else. BVB say tickets often sell out very quickly and do not go on general sale, which leaves the club's Official Secondary Market as the fallback.
This page lists 14 upcoming home fixtures at Signal Iduna Park, in the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
Resale seats listed on Hellotickets start from £73 across those games (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Next home fixture listed: Dortmund v Leverkusen on Sunday 29 November.
For the visit of Bayer Leverkusen, the members' advance sale opened on 12 October. No presale had been announced for the other games on the list in October 2026.

How to get Borussia Dortmund tickets
How to buy Borussia Dortmund tickets (official route)
Become a member
Adult membership of Borussia Dortmund costs €62 a year, and it is what unlocks the presale. Members get into the ticket shop one to two days before the presale opens more widely, and can buy between 2 and 10 tickets depending on the game: for Borussia Dortmund v Bayer Leverkusen tickets, the limit is six.
Follow the presale schedule
Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB-Pokal home games usually go on sale four to six weeks ahead. The presale schedule on bvb.de lists the member dates and only sometimes an "open presale" date for everyone else. Sales run through BVB's online ticket shop, which uses a Queue-it waiting room. The club says tickets often sell out very quickly and there is no general sale afterwards.
Use the Official Secondary Market
Once most day tickets have gone, usually a few days after the presale, BVB open the Official Secondary Market. Ticket holders resell there, and buyers pay the day-ticket price plus a 10% service fee; if the match was members-only, so is its secondary market.
Prices and categories
Single-match tickets come in seating Categories 1 to 6 plus standing, with VAT included. An adult standing place starts at €18.50, a Category 6 seat at €35 and a Category 1 seat at €85. For Bayern Munich and Schalke 04, a 20% top-match surcharge applies, except on standing places and Category 6.
Hospitality
VIP day tickets are sold by the club, in lounges such as Borsigplatz, Friedensplatz, Weiße Wiese, Hansaplatz, Alter Markt, the TV-Studio, Borussia Park and the Stammtisch, plus the Rote Erde Club matchday box.
Borussia Dortmund resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand
Two games are in a bracket of their own on the resale market: Der Klassiker against Bayern Munich and the Revierderby against Schalke 04, the same two that carry the club's top-match surcharge. Borussia Monchengladbach, RB Leipzig, Cologne and Stuttgart come next, with the Champions League visit of Inter Milan and Union Berlin just behind. Borussia Dortmund v Augsburg tickets and the Champions League night against AEK Athens are at the lower end, alongside Mainz, Freiburg and Hoffenheim.
Hellotickets mixes the club's price categories with stand names. Listings usually start in Category 3 or on the terrace ("Standing"), with Categories 2 and 1 above. Behind-the-goal Nordtribüne and Südtribüne listings generally sit below the touchline Westtribüne and Osttribüne, and Category 1 Silver and Gold are near the top of each match. Hospitality is listed apart.
Sellers set their own prices, well above BVB's face values, and the final price is shown before you pay. If your seat is in a home section, leave the visitors' colours at home: they are banned in BVB's standing blocks and in the south-east and south-west corners.
Signal Iduna Park: stands, seating and getting there
Signal Iduna Park, still widely known as the Westfalenstadion and called BVB Stadion Dortmund in UEFA competitions, stands at Strobelallee 50, beside Stadion Rote Erde and the Westfalenhallen. It opened in 1974 and holds 81,365 for Bundesliga games, 24,454 of them on the Südtribüne terrace. For UEFA matches that terrace is seated and capacity drops to 66,099.
- Südtribüne (the Yellow Wall), behind the south goal: the home terrace and Europe's largest standing terrace, blocks 10-15 and 80-84.
- Nordtribüne, behind the north goal: blocks 60-78, including the away section.
- Westtribüne, along the west touchline: two tiers, blocks 20-27 and 30-34.
- Osttribüne, along the east touchline: two tiers, blocks 40-54.
- REWE family block, in the north-west corner: no smoking, and reduced prices for children up to 14.
The U45 light rail runs from Dortmund Hauptbahnhof to the Stadion stop, at least every five minutes from about three hours before kick-off; the U42 to Theodor-Fliedner-Heim and the U46 to Westfalenhallen stop nearby, and regional trains including the RB 59 serve Dortmund Signal Iduna Park station beside the ground. Single digital or print-at-home tickets do not include travel, so order the free DSW21 ticket at kombiticket.dsw21.de.
Gates open two and a half hours before kick-off. Bags may be no larger than A4 and no deeper than 15 cm, and the fixed kiosks are cashless. Children up to six can enter for 1 euro on an adult's lap with a Kinderzählkarte, but not in standing areas.
Borussia Dortmund away tickets
Visiting supporters at Signal Iduna Park are housed on the Nordtribüne and in the north-east corner, the blocks BVB say suit them best; blocks 60 and 61 are standing only. The club asks fans not to wear away colours anywhere outside that section, and bans them outright in its standing blocks and the two southern corners.
For Dortmund fans following the team on the road, tickets for away games are sold through the home club's allocation, about four weeks ahead.
Frequently asked questions
How hard is it to get Borussia Dortmund tickets?
Hard for the big games. BVB sell home tickets in a presale four to six weeks before each match, members get in one to two days earlier, and the club says tickets often sell out very quickly and do not go on general sale. After that, the Official Secondary Market resells day tickets at face value plus a 10% fee, for members only if the match was members-only.
How big is BVB stadium?
Signal Iduna Park holds 81,365 for Bundesliga matches, including 24,454 standing places on the Südtribüne, the Yellow Wall, which is described as Europe's largest standing terrace. For UEFA matches the Südtribüne becomes seated and capacity falls to 66,099. The ground opened in 1974 and is still widely known as the Westfalenstadion.
How much are Borussia Dortmund tickets?
At the club, adult single-match prices including VAT start at €18.50 for a standing place, €35 for a Category 6 seat and €85 in Category 1, with a 20% top-match surcharge for Bayern Munich and Schalke 04, except on standing and Category 6. Resale listings on Hellotickets across the home fixtures start from £73 (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Can I buy Borussia Dortmund tickets without a membership?
Sometimes. Adult membership costs €62 a year and unlocks the presale, and BVB's presale schedule only sometimes lists an open presale date for non-members; the club says tickets do not go on general sale. The Official Secondary Market is open to everyone unless the match was members-only, and resale listings on Hellotickets are the other route.
Where do away fans sit at Signal Iduna Park?
On the Nordtribüne, behind the north goal, and in the north-east corner, which BVB say are best suited to visiting supporters; blocks 60 and 61 are standing only. Away colours are banned in BVB's standing blocks and in the south-east and south-west corners, and the club asks fans not to wear them anywhere outside the away section.
Do Borussia Dortmund tickets include public transport?
Season tickets include travel across North Rhine-Westphalia, but single print-at-home or digital tickets do not, so order the free DSW21 travel ticket at kombiticket.dsw21.de before the match. On matchdays the U45 light rail runs from Dortmund Hauptbahnhof to the Stadion stop at least every five minutes from about three hours before kick-off.
