Borussia Dortmund v Cologne: date, kick-off and how to watch

Cologne's Bundesliga trip to Signal Iduna Park is provisionally dated Saturday 15 May 2027, late in the season, with no kick-off time yet. The date comes from the resale market; the league has not confirmed the slot.

Hellotickets lists resale from £196 in the Category 3 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

A neighbourly Rhine-Ruhr fixture in mid-May will be sold the usual Dortmund way: members first, around four to six weeks ahead, which puts the presale in April.

Saturday 15 May 2027 is a provisional date taken from the Hellotickets catalogue, and the kick-off is TBC. The Bundesliga sets the exact day and time for each round later in the season, so do not lock in travel until it does. Germany is one hour ahead of the UK.

The venue is Signal Iduna Park, Strobelallee 50, Dortmund, the former Westfalenstadion, opened in 1974. UK broadcasters announce their Bundesliga selections nearer the weekend; no channel is listed for this game.

Official ticketing

Not on sale yet at the clubchecked 5 Nov

No pre-sale announced yet (BVB: 4-6 weeks ahead, members first). Date to be confirmed.

Membership: BVB adult membership (access to the pre-sale), €62 per year.

How to get Borussia Dortmund v Cologne tickets

Who gets in first

BVB members. Adult membership costs €62 a year and unlocks the presale, where members enter the ticket shop one to two days before any open sale and can buy between 2 and 10 tickets, depending on the game.

When

No presale has been announced. Dortmund usually start sales four to six weeks before the match, which for 15 May means roughly the first half of April. The presale schedule on bvb.de lists the member dates and only sometimes an open presale date for everyone else. The club says tickets often sell out very quickly and do not go on general sale.

After the presale

The Official Secondary Market opens once most day tickets have gone, usually a few days later. Tickets there cost the day-ticket price plus a 10% service fee, and if the game was members-only, so is the secondary market.

Prices

Cologne is not one of the two top-match fixtures (Bayern and Schalke) that carry a 20% surcharge, so standard prices apply: standing from €18.50, Category 6 seats from €35, Category 1 from €85.

Without membership, resale is the realistic route. Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Cologne's own home games are on Cologne tickets, and the league overview on Bundesliga tickets.

Where to sit at Signal Iduna Park

For Bundesliga games the stadium holds 81,365, including 24,454 standing places on the Südtribüne, the Yellow Wall behind the south goal and Europe's largest standing terrace. The touchline stands, Westtribüne and Osttribüne, each have two tiers. Behind the north goal, the Nordtribüne (blocks 60-78) carries the away section, continuing into the north-east corner, with blocks 60 and 61 standing only; Cologne's fans will be there.

On Hellotickets, "Standing" and "Südtribüne" listings are on the Yellow Wall, while "Category 1" to "Category 3" and the Silver and Gold bands are seated price levels. "Kurve" means a corner. A Nordtribüne listing may sit close to the visiting supporters, so home fans should check the block. Families can look for the REWE family block in the north-west corner, which has a smoking ban and reduced prices for children up to 14.
