Borussia Dortmund v Hoffenheim: date, kick-off and how to watch

Hoffenheim close January at Signal Iduna Park: the Bundesliga game is provisionally on Saturday 30 January 2027, with the kick-off still TBC. The date is the resale market's reference; the league confirms days and times later.

Official status: not on sale yet at the official seller (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Resale starts at £99 in the Category 3 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

The Yellow Wall is the obvious draw here: the lowest resale listing is a standing place, and BVB's own standing tickets start at €18.50 for members who get through the presale, which opens on 13 November at 12pm German time (the date is still provisional).

Saturday 30 January 2027 is a provisional date and no kick-off has been set. Expect the Bundesliga to confirm the slot, which may fall on another day of that weekend, a few weeks before. Germany is one hour ahead of the UK.

The ground is Signal Iduna Park at Strobelallee 50, Dortmund, opened in 1974. For UK viewers, Bundesliga broadcast picks are confirmed nearer the date; there is no channel for this game in our data.

How to get Borussia Dortmund v Hoffenheim tickets

Buying from the UK works the same way as from Germany: everything happens online, in BVB's ticket shop at ticket-onlineshop.com, which uses a Queue-it waiting room.

  1. Join BVB. Adult membership costs €62 a year and unlocks the presale. Members can buy between 2 and 10 tickets each, depending on the game.
  2. Find the presale date. The presale schedule on bvb.de lists the members' presale for this game from 12pm German time on 13 November, with up to 6 tickets per member; the date is still provisional. It gives open presale dates for non-members only sometimes, and none is listed for this game.
  3. Be in the queue early. Members get in one to two days before any open sale. BVB say tickets often sell out very quickly and are not put on general sale.
  4. Fall back on the Official Secondary Market. It opens once most day tickets are sold, usually a few days after the presale, at the day-ticket price plus 10%; members-only if the match was.

There is no top-match surcharge for Hoffenheim, so the standard prices apply: standing from €18.50, Category 6 seats from €35, Category 1 from €85.

Without membership, resale is the remaining option. Seats listed on Hellotickets are priced by their sellers, sometimes above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. The month after brings Borussia Dortmund v Stuttgart tickets and Borussia Dortmund v Union Berlin tickets.

Where to sit at Signal Iduna Park

Listings start with "Standing", which means the Südtribüne, the Yellow Wall behind the south goal: 24,454 standing places for Bundesliga games, the largest standing terrace in Europe. Hellotickets lists it under three names here, "Standing", "Südtribüne" and "Sudtribune". Children under seven cannot enter standing areas on a lap ticket, so families should choose a seat.

The seated stands are the two-tier Westtribüne and Osttribüne along the touchlines, and the Nordtribüne behind the north goal, which also holds the away section and the north-east corner for visiting fans. The REWE family block in the north-west corner offers reduced prices for children up to 14 and a smoking ban. "Category 1" to "Category 3", Silver and Gold are seated price bands, and "Kurve" listings are corners.
