For now the fixture sits on Saturday 20 March 2027, kick-off to be confirmed, at Strobelallee 50 in Dortmund. The Bundesliga publishes exact days and times round by round, so the game could still move within that weekend.

Germany is an hour ahead of the UK, so the UK kick-off will be an hour earlier than the German one. UK broadcast coverage is confirmed by the broadcasters nearer the date.

How to get Borussia Dortmund v Borussia Monchengladbach tickets

Nothing is on sale yet. When BVB publish the presale on bvb.de, typically four to six weeks before the game, the order is fixed.

  • Members, one to two days early. BVB members can buy between two and ten tickets per game in the online shop, which sits behind a Queue-it waiting room. Adult membership costs €62 a year.
  • An open presale, only sometimes. The presale schedule occasionally lists a date for non-members. BVB say tickets often sell out very quickly and do not go on general sale.
  • The Official Secondary Market. When most day tickets are gone, holders can resell through the club at the day-ticket price plus 10%. A members-only sale means a members-only resale.

Gladbach is not among the two fixtures with BVB's top-match surcharge, so normal face values apply: from €18.50 for standing, €35 for a Category 6 seat and €85 for Category 1.

If you cannot get in through the club, resale seats on Hellotickets are listed now; sellers set their own prices, and the final price is shown before you pay. Gladbach's fixtures are on Borussia Monchengladbach tickets, and the next derby at the ground is on Borussia Dortmund v Schalke 04 tickets.

Gladbach's fans will be in the away section on the Nordtribüne and in the north-east corner, with blocks 60 and 61 standing only. At the other end, the Südtribüne is the Yellow Wall, 24,454 standing places in blocks 10-15 and 80-84. The Westtribüne and Osttribüne are the two-tier stands along the touchlines, both seated.

Hellotickets lists "Standing" and stand-named areas alongside price categories: Category 3, 2 and 1, then Category 1 Silver and Gold at the top, plus "Kurve" corner seats. If you buy a home-area ticket, leave anything in Gladbach colours behind; they are banned in BVB's standing blocks and in the south-east and south-west corners.
