Benfica sell home tickets in waves rather than all at once. Red Pass season-ticket holders get first call, then sócios (members) with their dues paid, then registered fans, Casa Benfica members and the general public, through slbenfica.pt, the club app, the stadium box office, the Benfica Official Stores and the Casas do Benfica.
This page lists 14 upcoming home fixtures in the Liga Portugal and the Europa League.
Across them, resale seats listed on Hellotickets start from £38 (checked 5 Nov 2026).
The next fixture on the list is Benfica v Famalicao on Monday 30 November.
As of October 2026, Benfica had not announced sale dates for any of these games. The club's recent pattern is a sale a few weeks before kick-off, with members paying less than the public.

How to get Benfica tickets
How to buy Benfica tickets (official route)
Who buys first
Each home game goes on sale in steps. Red Pass holders, Benfica's season-ticket holders, have priority; sócios with paid-up dues follow; registered fans, Casa Benfica members and the general public come last. Members pay less than everyone else: for the visit of Alverca on 2 November, seats started at €20 for members and €30 for fans and the public, and for the European night against Lech Poznań on 5 November, at €25 and €35.
When sales open
Benfica have opened league sales about three weeks before kick-off and European sales about three and a half weeks ahead. For Alverca, members could buy from 14 October and the public from 15 October. For Lech Poznań, Red Pass holders went first on 9 October, members on 12 October and registered fans on 13 October. Expect the games listed on this page to follow a similar timetable once Benfica announce them.
Where to buy, and the rules
Buy only through Benfica's own channels: slbenfica.pt, the official app, the Bilheteira Centenário box office at the stadium, Benfica Official Stores and the Casas do Benfica. Public phases need a registered-fan account, while becoming a sócio gives you an earlier phase and the lower price. Tickets are personal, each purchase is limited to five, and there are no exchanges or refunds.
The Mercado Secundário
Benfica's own resale system only runs when the club's board activates it. Red Pass holders who cannot attend can then put their seat up for sale through the official app or website, and 50% of the sale value goes to their virtual wallet.
Hospitality
The club also sells hospitality at the Estádio da Luz: Platinum, Gold and Silver boxes, and Executive Seats in the Amsterdam, Luz, Lisboa, Amicis and Museum lounges.
Benfica resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand
Two fixtures stand apart on the resale market: the visit of Porto and the Lisbon derby against Sporting Lisbon, both well above the rest of the home season. Compare Benfica v Porto tickets with a smaller league game and the gap is wide. Arouca, the last home game on the list, sits next, ahead of the Europa League nights against OFI Crete and AZ Alkmaar and the league visits of Rio Ave and Braga. Most of the other Liga Portugal games, from the Famalicao match to Nacional, share the lowest starting level.
Inside a match, listings usually start in the upper tier, the largest level of the bowl, with the middle tier a step above. Seats listed as "Shortside", behind a goal, sit far higher in every game where they appear.
Benfica sells its own tickets only through its official channels. Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices and the final price is shown before you pay, but once a public sale opens, the club is usually the cheaper route.
Estádio da Luz: stands, seating and getting there
Officially the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, the ground is known to everyone as the Estádio da Luz, after the Luz neighbourhood where it stands, on the border of the Benfica and Carnide parishes. It opened in 2003 and has held 68,100, all seated, since the first phase of an expansion in July 2025; the club plans further phases towards about 70,000.
Three tiers sit under a polycarbonate roof, and Benfica number the levels as floors:
- Floor 0, at pitch level: rows A and B are so low that the club recommends a minimum height of 1.70 m for a full view, and sectors 28 and 5-6 are special-access zones for organised fans.
- Floor 1: home of the presidential box.
- Floor 2: business and members' boxes.
- Floor 3: the top tier and the largest level of the stadium.
In all there are 156 boxes and a VIP ring of more than 7,000 seats.
The Blue Line of the Lisbon Metro stops at Colégio Militar/Luz and Alto dos Moinhos. Carris buses 3, 726, 767 and 768 stop on Estrada da Luz, route 750 runs along Avenida Eusébio da Silva Ferreira, and the nearest CP suburban stations are Benfica and Sete Rios.
Children under 3 are not admitted, and everyone from age 3 needs a ticket. Expect a search at the gate: alcohol cannot be brought in, and you must sit in the seat shown on your ticket.
