Benfica's calendar puts Casa Pia on Sunday 24 January 2027, time still to be defined, at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica. The ground everyone calls the Luz takes its name from the neighbourhood around it, not from the Portuguese word for light.
That week is busy at the stadium: AZ Alkmaar visit in the Europa League on Thursday 28 January and Moreirense follow on the Sunday after that. Lisbon shares the UK's time zone in winter. Any UK broadcast will be confirmed by the broadcasters once the kick-off is set.
Official ticketing
Not on sale yet at the club (no sale dates announced); Sun 24 Jan, kick-off time still to be set.
- Sale not announced (shop lists only fixtures to 5 Nov); usual order: Red Pass, members, then registered fans and public · to come
Membership: Sócio (member with dues paid) and Red Pass season ticket; registered-fan account for public sales.
How to get Benfica v Casa Pia tickets
There is nothing to buy from the club yet, and no dates have been given. Benfica's pattern for league games is a short, staggered window that has opened about three weeks before the match.
Who buys when
Red Pass season ticket holders have priority, then sócios with paid-up dues, then registered fans, Casa Benfica members and the public. For the Alverca game on 2 November, the member phase began on 14 October and the public phase on 15 October, so the gap between the two can be a single day.
What it costs
The Alverca prices are the best guide available: from €20 for members and from €30 for the public. Benfica charges non-members more at every stand.
Where to buy
slbenfica.pt and the Benfica app, the Bilheteira Centenário at the stadium, Benfica Official Stores and Casas do Benfica. A purchase is limited to five tickets, each in a named holder's name, and sales are final. Red Pass holders can resell through the club's Mercado Secundário when the board switches it on.
Before the club's window opens, resale seats on Hellotickets give you a way to book alongside flights. Sellers set their own prices and the final price is shown before you pay. See the week's other games on Benfica v AZ Alkmaar tickets and Benfica v Moreirense tickets.
Good to know before you go
- Register before the windowThe public phase has opened just a day after members, so create your slbenfica.pt fan account in advance rather than on the morning of the sale.
- Three games in eight daysWith AZ Alkmaar and Moreirense also at the Luz that week, a long stay in Lisbon could take in more than one match.
- Getting there by busCarris routes 3, 726, 767 and 768 stop at Estrada da Luz, and route 750 runs along Avenida Eusébio da Silva Ferreira beside the ground.
- No alcohol through the gatesSpectators are searched at entry and cannot bring in alcohol, fireworks or pyrotechnics.
Where to sit at Estadio Da Luz
The stadium holds 68,100 and is laid out on four floors. Most resale listings for this match are "Upper Tier", which is Floor 3: the largest single level, high above the touchlines and ends, with a full view of the pitch. "Middle Tier" listings sit lower, on the smaller Floors 1 and 2. A "Shortside" seat puts you behind one of the goals.
Floor 0, at pitch level, holds the organised supporters' sectors 28 and 5-6, and its first two rows are low enough that Benfica recommends a height of 1.70 m. For a first visit, a seat a little higher up avoids both. Benfica does not publish an away section.
Frequently asked questions
How to buy Benfica match tickets as a tourist?
Register as a fan on slbenfica.pt or in the Benfica app, then buy in the public phase that follows the Red Pass and member windows. You can also buy in person at the stadium box office, Benfica Official Stores or a Casa do Benfica. Up to five tickets per purchase.
How easy is it to get Benfica tickets?
For a league match such as Casa Pia it is generally manageable, because Benfica tends to reach a public phase once Red Pass holders and members have bought. The challenge is the short notice: sales have opened only around three weeks before kick-off, which is late for planning a trip.
How much do Benfica match tickets cost?
It varies by match and by whether you are a member. For the Alverca league game, member seats started at €20 and public seats at €30; for the Europa League game against Lech Poznań it was €25 and €35. Resale seats for Casa Pia on Hellotickets start at £38.
How much are Benfica v Casa Pia tickets?
Official prices have not been published. Using the Alverca game as a guide, expect public tickets from around €30 and member tickets from around €20. On the resale market, seats listed on Hellotickets start at £38 in the Upper Tier, checked 5 Nov 2026.
Can I buy Benfica v Casa Pia tickets without being a member?
Yes, as long as seats remain after the priority phases. Benfica opens sales to registered fans, Casa Benfica members and the general public after Red Pass holders and paid-up members, at higher prices. Resale listings on Hellotickets also need no membership.
