Benfica v Arouca: date, kick-off and how to watch
Arouca visit the Estádio da Luz on Saturday 15 May 2027, one of the last home dates of Benfica's Liga Portugal season. The club's calendar gives the day but not the time, so treat both as provisional for now.
At Benfica the match is not on sale yet at the official seller (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Seats listed on Hellotickets start at £136 in the Upper Tier, checked 5 Nov 2026.
For a May weekend in Lisbon, the thing to know is that Benfica sells in turns: season ticket holders and members get their chance before anyone with only a fan account.

Benfica list the fixture for Saturday 15 May 2027 at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, the official name of the Luz, in the Luz neighbourhood of Lisbon. The kick-off is shown as horário a definir: to be defined. Portuguese league times are usually fixed nearer the date, so the match could still move within that weekend.
Lisbon runs on the same clock as the UK, so whatever time is announced will be the time back home too. UK coverage of Liga Portugal is confirmed by the broadcasters closer to the day; we will not guess at a channel before it is listed.
Official ticketing
Not on sale yet at the club (no sale dates announced); official date Sat 15 May, time still to be set.
- Sale not announced (shop lists only fixtures to 5 Nov); usual order: Red Pass, members, then registered fans and public · to come
Membership: Sócio (member with dues paid) and Red Pass season ticket; registered-fan account for public sales.
How to get Benfica v Arouca tickets
No sale dates have been published. Benfica's online shop only lists fixtures a few weeks ahead, and this one is still months away. When it opens, the order will follow the club's usual steps:
- Red Pass holders, the season ticket holders, are served first.
- Sócios with paid-up dues come next, at the lower member price.
- Registered fans, Casa Benfica members and the general public share whatever is left, at the public price.
For recent league games the window opened roughly three weeks before kick-off: for Alverca on 2 November, members could buy from 14 October and the public from 15 October. Public seats for that game started at €30 against €20 for members, which gives you a sense of the face values to expect.
You can buy on slbenfica.pt, in the official app, at the Bilheteira Centenário box office at the stadium, in Benfica Official Stores or at a Casa do Benfica. A single purchase is capped at five tickets, each ticket carries a name, and the club offers no exchanges or refunds.
Red Pass holders who cannot attend may release their seat on the club's Mercado Secundário when the board activates it. If you would rather lock in seats before the official sale, the resale listings on Hellotickets are open now; sellers set their own prices and the final price is shown before you pay. Every Benfica home date is on our Benfica tickets page.

Where to sit at Estadio Da Luz
The Luz, opened in 2003 and now holding 68,100 after a first expansion phase, is arranged by Benfica into four floors under a single roof. Floor 0 sits at pitch level; Floors 1 and 2 are smaller middle levels with the presidential box and the business and members' boxes; Floor 3 is the large upper ring.
On Hellotickets, "Upper Tier" points to Floor 3 and "Middle Tier" to the levels below it, while the odd "Shortside" listing is behind a goal. If you end up on Floor 0, note that rows A and B are very low: Benfica advises a minimum height of 1.70 m for a clear view. Sectors 28 and 5-6 on that floor are reserved for organised supporters. The club does not publish an away section, so we do not name one.
Frequently asked questions
How to buy Benfica match tickets as a tourist?
Create a registered-fan account on slbenfica.pt or the official app and wait for the public phase, which follows the Red Pass and member windows. The box office at the Luz, Benfica Official Stores and Casas do Benfica also sell. Resale seats listed on Hellotickets are another option, already open for this match.
Can you buy Benfica tickets without being a member?
Yes, in most cases. After Red Pass holders and paid-up members have had their turn, Benfica opens sales to registered fans, Casa Benfica members and the general public, at a higher price than members pay. For the Alverca league game the public price started at €30, against €20 for members.
Is it easy to buy Benfica tickets?
For a league game like this one it is usually possible, because Benfica regularly reaches a public phase after its members. The catch is timing: sales have opened only about three weeks before kick-off, and the biggest fixtures may not reach the public at all. Resale listings exist for travellers who need certainty earlier.
Can I buy Benfica tickets at the Stadium?
Yes. The Bilheteira Centenário box office at the Estádio da Luz is one of Benfica's official sales points, along with slbenfica.pt, the app, Benfica Official Stores and Casas do Benfica. What it can sell depends on what remains after the Red Pass and member phases.
How much are Benfica v Arouca tickets?
Benfica has not priced this match yet. As a guide, the public paid from €30 and members from €20 for the Alverca league game earlier in the season. On the resale market, seats listed on Hellotickets start at £136 in the Upper Tier, checked 5 Nov 2026, with sellers setting their own prices.
