Villa Park tickets

Aston Villa's home with the North Stand closed all season: members' sales, Champions League priority, stands, Witton trains and resale prices.

Updated 5 Nov 2026

Villa Park, in Aston, has been Aston Villa's home since 1897. For the whole of 2026/27 its North Stand is closed for redevelopment, so the Premier League Handbook gives a ground capacity of 36,887 at the start of the season, against 43,205 before the works; the club expects more than 50,000 once the new stand opens for 2027/28.

Most tickets go to members. Villa usually open each Premier League home game to Adult and Junior Members three to four weeks before kick-off, match by match, and from 3 August they also offered Members' Match Bundles, 1,000 of each, pairing two home games: Everton with Manchester United, for instance, or Liverpool with Ipswich Town. Every ticket is issued in the Official Aston Villa App.

15 matches at Villa Park are listed below. Across them, resale seats on Hellotickets start from £92 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Next at Villa Park: Aston Villa v Sunderland on Saturday 21 November.

The Champions League nights follow their own timetable. For Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday 8 December, kick-off 8pm, season ticket holders buy from 9.30am on 16 November until 5pm on 18 November. Members who attended six or more 2025/26 Europa League home games follow at 2pm on 19 November, those with three or more at 9.30am on 20 November, and all Adult and Junior Members at 2pm that day. Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday 19 January repeats the pattern from 21 December, with all members from 9.30am on 24 December. Adult member prices start at £89.50 in Category 2 (£73.50 for season ticket holders).

Members can buy for Aston Villa v Liverpool on Wednesday 30 December from 9.30am on 7 December, and for Aston Villa v Manchester United on Saturday 16 January from 9.30am on 21 December. Our Aston Villa tickets 2026/27 hub follows each one.

Inside Villa Park: stands, Witton and hospitality

Seating plan and stands

  • Holte End: behind the south goal, on two tiers, the most renowned stand at the ground and the traditional home of Villa's most vocal supporters. The Holte Suite hospitality is inside it.
  • Trinity Road Stand: the main stand, along the west touchline, on three tiers with executive boxes between the second and third. It holds the dressing rooms, the players' tunnel and the directors' box.
  • Doug Ellis Stand: opposite, along the east touchline, on two tiers with executive boxes between them; the away section is in its north-east corner.
  • North Stand: behind the north goal, closed all season. Its roof came off at the end of summer 2026, and new seating and concourses, adding more than 5,500 seats, are due for the start of 2027/28.

With the North Stand shut, every behind-the-goal seat this season is in the Holte End, so “Shortside” listings on Hellotickets should be there, while “Longside” listings are in the Trinity Road or Doug Ellis Stand, with “Central” close to halfway. Longside seats in the Doug Ellis Stand can sit near the away corner, so check the block before you pay. The Villa Park seating plan shows each block.

Visiting supporters have Block Q in the Doug Ellis lower tier, about 1,600 seats with turnstiles Q91-Q96B, and Block P in the upper tier, about 1,300 seats with turnstiles P87-P89, 64 steps up from ground level. Alcohol is sold in Block Q only, and the visitors' ticket office is on Witton Lane, opposite the away coach park. The club says visiting clubs keep the same allocation while the North Stand is closed, though cup allocations can include other areas.

Getting there

  • Witton station: the nearest, about nine minutes by train from Birmingham New Street and around five minutes on foot from the ground, on the away fans' side.
  • Aston station: on the line between Lichfield Trent Valley and Longbridge or Redditch, 5-10 minutes from New Street, then about 15 minutes' walk.
  • Shuttle buses: the AV82 runs from Dudley Street, outside New Street, every 15 minutes from three hours before kick-off, with returns from Grosvenor Road, for home and away fans alike; the AV1 comes from Tamworth.
  • Buses: the 7, 11A and 11C run to Witton Square, and the 65 and 67 to Aston station.
  • Car: Witton Lane and Trinity Road become a traffic exclusion zone two hours before kick-off, residents' parking zones carry £60 fines, and the official car parks must be booked in advance.

Match tickets are issued only in the Official Aston Villa App and scanned by NFC through Apple or Google Wallet. Bags larger than 20 x 15 x 5 cm are not allowed on the stadium footprint; the bag drop at the corner of Witton Lane and Station Road opens two hours before the game and closes two hours after it. Turnstiles stay open through the first half and close at the half-time whistle, and children under four are not admitted to the general admission, GA+, Club Si or Sports Bar seating areas.

Villa Park also stages concerts, and the club's football travel advice does not apply to them, so follow the promoter's instead.

Hospitality

Aston Villa sell hospitality and General Admission Plus (GA+) areas alongside standard seats. The Holte Suite is in the Holte End, and executive boxes run between the tiers of the Trinity Road and Doug Ellis Stands. Hospitality in the rebuilt North Stand is due in October 2027.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy Aston Villa tickets without membership?

Rarely. Premier League home games go on sale match by match to Adult and Junior Members, usually three to four weeks before kick-off, and the Champions League nights go to season ticket holders first, then to members. For Sunderland on Saturday 21 November, a general sale is due on 9 November if any tickets remain. With the North Stand closed all season, most tickets go to members. Otherwise, resale seats listed on Hellotickets start from £92, and sellers set their own prices.

Are Aston Villa tickets hard to get?

Capacity is down this season: with the North Stand closed for redevelopment, the Premier League Handbook gives 36,887 for the start of 2026/27, against 43,205 before the works, and most tickets go to members. Champions League tickets are released by priority, starting with season ticket holders and then members ranked by the 2025/26 Europa League home games they attended.

How can I buy Aston Villa tickets?

As an Adult or Junior Member, in the match-by-match sales the club usually opens three to four weeks before kick-off; tickets are issued only in the Official Aston Villa App. For Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday 8 December, season ticket holders buy from 9.30am on 16 November, then members by Europa League attendance on 19 and 20 November, from £89.50 for an adult member.

Where do away fans sit at Villa Park?

In the north-east corner of the Doug Ellis Stand: Block Q in the lower tier, about 1,600 seats through turnstiles Q91-Q96B, and Block P in the upper tier, about 1,300 seats through turnstiles P87-P89, 64 steps up. Alcohol is sold in Block Q only. Witton station is the closest to the away section, about five minutes on foot.

How do you get to Villa Park?

By train to Witton, about nine minutes from Birmingham New Street and five minutes' walk from the ground, or to Aston, about 15 minutes' walk away. The AV82 shuttle leaves from Dudley Street, outside New Street, every 15 minutes from three hours before kick-off, and buses 7, 11A and 11C run to Witton Square. Witton Lane and Trinity Road close to traffic two hours before kick-off.
