Aston Villa v Manchester United: date, kick-off and how to watch
Manchester United's visit to Villa Park is pencilled in for Saturday 16 January 2027 in the Premier League, but the date is provisional and the kick-off time TBC. The match is not on sale yet at the official seller, and part of it was sold early: members have been able to buy it since 3 August in Bundle 3, alongside Everton's visit on 2 December.
On the resale market, the starting price on Hellotickets is £181, in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026).
A big-name visitor and a reduced capacity make planning matter for this one, so learn the members' timetable before turning to resale.

For now, Saturday 16 January 2027 is a provisional date and no kick-off time has been set. The Premier League's fixture list places the match at Villa Park in Birmingham that weekend, and the final slot can still move when television selections are made.
If it stays at 3pm on the Saturday, the blackout applies and the game will not be shown live in the UK. A televised slot would mean a different kick-off time, possibly on a different day, so wait for confirmation before booking fixed travel.

How to get Aston Villa v Manchester United tickets
With a membership
Members have already had one chance: Bundle 3, which paired this match with Everton on 2 December, was offered to members from 3 August, 1,000 bundles in all. Single tickets follow for Adult and Junior Members once season ticket holders are served: Villa's published on-sale date for this game is Monday 21 December 2026, from 9.30am, subject to change, and the club expects members to buy every seat. Within it, members can enter a First Timer Ballot or, with at least 120 waiting-list points, a Loyalty Ballot. In Zone 4, an adult pays from £49.50 if the match is Category 3 or £61 if it is Category 4. If you cannot go, Villa's resale in the app or on the website refunds you when the seat sells.
Without one
Becoming an Adult Member costs £50 for 2026/27, and juniors have their own membership. Public sales have been the exception this season: the Fulham match on 31 October was released to everyone on 14 October. Otherwise, resale listings on Hellotickets are the route: sellers set the prices, which can exceed face value, and the final cost appears at checkout. Buying through Villa, if you qualify, normally costs less. See Aston Villa Membership for how joining works.

Where to sit at Villa Park
The North Stand is the missing piece this season: its roof came off at the end of summer 2026, and the new stand, with new seating and concourses, is due for the start of 2027/28, adding over 5,500 seats. Until then, three stands are in use. The home end is the two-tier Holte End, behind the south goal; the main stand, west of the pitch, is the three-tier Trinity Road Stand; the Doug Ellis Stand on the east side has two tiers and the away section.
Manchester United's supporters will be in that stand's north-east corner, Block Q lower and Block P upper. On Hellotickets, “Shortside” listings this season are in the Holte End, the only end open, and “Longside” listings are in the Trinity Road or Doug Ellis Stand. Use the Villa Park seating plan to place a listing.
Frequently asked questions
How much are Aston Villa v Manchester United tickets?
The lowest resale listing on Hellotickets is £181, in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026), and lower-tier touchline seats cost more. Villa's own adult prices, from £49.50 (Category 3) or £61 (Category 4) in Zone 4, apply to members first, in a sale due to open at 9.30am on Monday 21 December 2026.
Can I buy Aston Villa v Manchester United tickets without being a member?
Not from Villa unless seats reach a general sale, which has been rare this season; Fulham on 31 October was an exception. Members could buy this game in a bundle with Everton from 3 August, and single tickets are reserved for Adult and Junior Members from Monday 21 December, with Villa expecting them to sell out in that window. A £50 adult membership is the entry point; otherwise, look at resale.
How much is a ticket to an Aston Villa game?
Villa's adult prices for 2026/27 begin at £49.50 in Zone 4 for a Category 3 league match; Category 4 games, priced like the Arsenal and Manchester City matches, start at £61. A Champions League league-phase ticket in Category 2 is from £89.50, and adult cup tickets are held at £25 all season.
What time is kick-off for Aston Villa v Manchester United?
Not confirmed yet. The match is listed for Saturday 16 January 2027, but the date is provisional and the time TBC. If it stays at 3pm on the Saturday it will not be broadcast live in the UK; a television pick would move it to another slot.
Where do Manchester United fans sit at Villa Park?
United's fans are given the away corner, where the Doug Ellis Stand meets the closed North Stand: about 1,600 seats in Block Q on the lower tier, where alcohol is sold, and about 1,300 in Block P on the upper tier. Villa say visiting clubs keep the same allocation during the North Stand closure.
