Aston Villa v Coventry: date, kick-off and how to watch
Coventry make the short trip to Villa Park for a Premier League meeting of two West Midlands clubs, provisionally on Saturday 24 April 2027 (kick-off TBC). At the club, tickets are not on sale yet at the official seller; Villa's published date for the members' sale is Tuesday 30 March 2027, from 9.30am, subject to change.
On the resale market, Hellotickets has seats from £105, in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026).
A late-season Saturday at a ground running without its North Stand, with members buying first: a general sale would be the exception rather than the rule.

Aston Villa v Coventry is pencilled in at Villa Park, Birmingham, on Saturday 24 April 2027. Both the date and the start time (TBC) await confirmation from the Premier League, and the fixture could still move.
Kept as a 3pm Saturday game, it would be blacked out on live UK television. If a broadcaster picks it, expect a different kick-off time and possibly another day, so leave travel bookings until it is settled.

How to get Aston Villa v Coventry tickets
When do tickets go on sale?
From 9.30am on Tuesday 30 March 2027, subject to change. Once season ticket holders have their seats, Villa release home league tickets to Adult and Junior Members one game at a time, and the club expects this one to sell out within that members' window.
Who can buy?
Members. Joining costs £50 per adult for the season, with junior memberships too. Inside the sale sit two ballots: Loyalty, for members with a tally of 120 waiting-list points or more, and First Timer. In Zone 4, an adult ticket costs £49.50 upwards in Category 3 and £61 upwards in Category 4. A member who cannot go can put the ticket on Villa's resale; if it finds a buyer, the money comes back.
What if I am not a member?
A general sale only happens if seats are left, as with Fulham on 31 October, released to the public on 14 October. Otherwise, look at resale: Hellotickets listings carry the seller's own price, sometimes over face value, with the full cost shown at checkout. The Aston Villa Membership guide explains how to join in time for the sale.
Good to know before you go
- Witton for the away endCoventry fans heading for the away corner should aim for Witton: about 5 minutes' walk from the away section, with trains from New Street taking roughly 9 minutes.
- The date can still moveWith a provisional date and kick-off TBC, keep train and hotel plans flexible until the date and time are confirmed.
- Under-foursVilla Park does not admit under-fours to its Sports Bar, Club Si, GA+ or general admission areas, so check before buying for a young child.
- Resale deliveryHellotickets forwards each ticket once the seller has delivered it, which can be only 1–2 days before the event.
Where to sit at Villa Park
Where you sit depends on who you are with. Home supporters who want the singing head for the Holte End, the two-tier stand behind the south goal. For a side view, there is the main stand, the three-tiered Trinity Road Stand on the west touchline, or the two-tier Doug Ellis Stand opposite. Coventry's fans are allocated Blocks Q (lower tier) and P (upper tier), the away corner of the Doug Ellis Stand. Hospitality guests are looked after in the Holte Suite, inside the Holte End. Behind the north goal, the North Stand is closed while it is rebuilt, due back for 2027/28.
Hellotickets groups listings into Shortside (behind the goal; with one end closed, that is the Holte End) and Longside (along a touchline), each split into upper and lower tiers. The Villa Park seating plan shows the blocks.
Frequently asked questions
How much are Aston Villa v Coventry tickets?
On Hellotickets, the Shortside Upper Tier opens at £105 (checked 5 Nov 2026), and the lower tiers are listed higher. Through Villa, an adult member's ticket in Zone 4 will cost from £49.50 (Category 3) or £61 (Category 4) once the members' sale opens.
Can I buy Aston Villa v Coventry tickets without being a member?
Only if Villa put seats on general sale, which they do rarely this season with the North Stand closed. After season ticket holders, Adult and Junior Members get the single tickets, and joining as an adult costs £50 for 2026/27. Without one, the resale market is the realistic route.
Is Aston Villa v Coventry sold out?
As of 5 Nov 2026, Villa's site showed it as not on sale yet at the official seller. The members' sale is scheduled for 9.30am on Tuesday 30 March 2027, subject to change, and the club expects members to buy the seats.
What time is kick-off for Aston Villa v Coventry?
No time has been set: the kick-off is TBC, and Saturday 24 April 2027 is a provisional date. If it remains a 3pm Saturday fixture, UK viewers will not get it live because of the blackout; a choice for TV would bring a new time.
Is it hard to get Aston Villa tickets?
It is harder in 2026/27 because the North Stand is closed, leaving Villa Park at about 37,000. Season ticket holders come first, then Adult and Junior Members, with two ballots to improve members' chances. General sales are rare, so non-members usually have to look at resale.
