This match's list opens in the Shortside Upper Tier, from £103.

The upper tiers carry the lower prices, behind the goal and along the touchline alike. Lower-tier seats cost more, and low behind the goal is where the dearest standard seats sit. Hospitality and “seller's choice” listings are shown on their own.

Aston Villa v Crystal Palace: date, kick-off and how to watch

Crystal Palace are at Villa Park on Saturday 5 December 2026 for a 3pm Premier League kick-off. At the club the match is not on sale yet at the official seller, but some seats are already spoken for: members could buy it from 3 August in a two-match bundle with Chelsea's visit in February.

Resale listings on Hellotickets begin at £103, in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026).

For a December Saturday the picture at Villa this season is clear. With the North Stand out of use, capacity is down to 36,887, and season ticket holders and members usually get the only chance to buy.

Kick-off is at 3pm on Saturday 5 December 2026, at Villa Park in Birmingham. Under the 3pm blackout, no Premier League match kicking off at that time on a Saturday is shown live on UK television, and this one is no exception.

For supporters in Britain, then, being inside the ground is the only live option. The date and kick-off time are taken from the Premier League's official fixture list.

How to get Aston Villa v Crystal Palace tickets

Villa's ticket office has not put this match on sale yet. Seats are released in stages, mostly to people who already belong to the club:

  • August bundles: Members' Match Bundle 5 combined this game with Chelsea at Villa Park on 27 February, and the club offered 1,000 of these pairs to members from 3 August.
  • Members' match sale: single tickets for Adult and Junior Members, online and by phone from 9.30am on Monday 9 November, a date the club says is subject to change. Two ballots run alongside: a First Timer Ballot, and a Loyalty Ballot for members on at least 120 waiting-list points.
  • General sale: only if seats are left, which is unusual; Fulham on 31 October was the exception, opened to all on 14 October.

Joining costs £50 for an adult this season, and there is a Junior Membership too. Depending on the price category set for the match, adult tickets start at £49.50 (Category 3) or £61 (Category 4) in Zone 4. Members unable to go can list their seat on the club's resale and get their money back if it sells.

No membership? Then the open market is where to look. Seats listed on Hellotickets are priced by their sellers, sometimes above face value, and the total is shown before you pay; when you can use the club's sale, it usually costs less. Our Aston Villa Membership guide sets out how to join before the window opens.

Where to sit at Villa Park

Think of Villa Park this season as three working stands. Behind the south goal, the Holte End is the home end, two tiers of the club's most vocal support with the Holte Suite inside. On the west side, the Trinity Road Stand has three tiers, executive boxes and the players' tunnel. On the east side, the two-tier Doug Ellis Stand holds the away section in its north-east corner, where Crystal Palace fans sit in Blocks Q (lower) and P (upper). The North Stand is closed for rebuilding until 2027/28.

Hellotickets' zone names follow the same geometry: Longside along the touchlines, Shortside behind the goal. This season, behind the goal can only mean the Holte End, which is also sold under its own name here, and lower and upper tiers are priced as separate zones. For block numbers, see the Villa Park seating plan.

Frequently asked questions

How much are Aston Villa v Crystal Palace tickets?

Seats listed on Hellotickets start at £103 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026). Upper-tier seats are listed lowest and the lower tier behind the goal highest. Through the club, members will pay from £49.50 or £61 for an adult in Zone 4, depending on whether the match is placed in Category 3 or Category 4.

Is it hard to get Aston Villa tickets?

This season, yes. The North Stand is closed for the whole of 2026/27, cutting capacity to 36,887, and after season ticket holders the match-by-match sale goes to Adult and Junior Members, with ballots and bundles on top. Villa expect games to sell out to members, so general sales are rare. Resale on Hellotickets is the alternative.

Can I buy Aston Villa tickets without membership?

Rarely from the club. A general sale only happens when members leave seats unsold, as with Fulham on 31 October, opened to the public on 14 October. For Crystal Palace, the realistic routes are an Adult Membership at £50 for 2026/27 before the members' sale on 9 November, or resale listings on Hellotickets from £103.

How much is a ticket to an Aston Villa game?

Villa's 2026/27 adult prices start at £49.50 in Zone 4 for a Category 3 league game and £61 for Category 4, the band used for Arsenal and Manchester City. Champions League Category 2 tickets cost from £89.50 (£73.50 for season ticket holders), while domestic cup prices are frozen at £25 for adults.

What time does Aston Villa v Crystal Palace kick off?

At 3pm on Saturday 5 December 2026, at Villa Park. As a Saturday 3pm Premier League match it is not broadcast live in the UK. Latecomers can still get through the turnstiles until the half-time whistle, but aim to be seated for kick-off.
