RB Leipzig's visit is a Tuesday-night fixture, with kick-off at 8pm UK time on 8 December 2026 at Old Trafford, on Sir Matt Busby Way in Manchester. The 3pm blackout applies to Saturday afternoons, not to a midweek evening like this.

The UK channel for Champions League nights is confirmed by the broadcasters, so check their listings in the week of the game rather than relying on an old schedule. If you have a ticket, the Manchester United App holds it and shows any change to the time.

Where to sit at Old Trafford

For a European night, the choice is between the home end, the touchlines and the areas near the visitors. The Stretford End, behind the west goal, is United's home end, and its second tier is a 6,000-place safe standing section. The Sir Alex Ferguson Stand on the north touchline rises to three tiers, while the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand opposite is a single tier with the dugouts. Behind the east goal, the two-tier East Stand takes in the away section and the disabled supporters' section.

Leipzig's fans are placed in the south-east corner, blocks E230 to E233 and STH229 on the club's price map. On Hellotickets, Shortside listings sit behind a goal, Longside listings along a touchline and Central ones near halfway. Our seating plan for Old Trafford shows each block.
