Manchester United v Brentford: date, kick-off and how to watch

Manchester United v Brentford is a Premier League fixture at Old Trafford on Saturday 28 November 2026, kick-off 3pm. Seats are on sale at the official seller, but only Official Members can buy them: this is a Category B game with adult prices from £55, and United never hold a general sale for league matches.

On the resale market, seats listed on Hellotickets start at £133 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Two details shape this one. It is not among the three balloted league games, so members buy directly, and its 3pm Saturday start keeps it off live UK television.

The match is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday 28 November 2026 at Old Trafford, on Sir Matt Busby Way in Manchester. Premier League games kicking off at 3pm on a Saturday are not broadcast live in the UK, so unless the fixture is moved, the only way to watch it live in the UK is from a seat in the ground.

Broadcasters can still shift a kick-off, so check the time in the Manchester United App before you travel.

How to get Manchester United v Brentford tickets

United sell home tickets only through tickets.manutd.com and two official travel partners, Champions Travel and Travel Connection. League seats are for Official Members, and for Brentford the route has three steps:

  1. Take out membership. Official Membership for 2026/27 costs £37.50 for adults, with Premium at £70, Under-16 at £20 and Forwarding at £30.
  2. Buy in the members' sale. The Official Members sale for this game is open, with no ballot. As a Category B fixture, adult seats start at £55.
  3. Check club resale. Season ticket holders and members list seats they cannot use in the official Man Utd app, generally until two weeks before the match, and those returns go to Official Members only.

Without membership the club cannot sell you a seat. Resale is then the remaining route: seats listed on Hellotickets come from sellers who set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Our How To Get Manchester United Tickets guide explains membership in more depth.

Where to sit at Old Trafford

Old Trafford has four stands. Behind the west goal, the Stretford End is the home end, and its second tier holds 6,000 rail seats for safe standing. Behind the east goal, the two-tier East Stand houses the away section and the disabled supporters' section. Along the north touchline, the three-tier Sir Alex Ferguson Stand is the largest, with about 26,000 seats; facing it, the single-tier Sir Bobby Charlton Stand has the dugouts and most of the executive suites.

On Hellotickets, "Shortside" means behind a goal, "Longside" along a touchline and "Central" near halfway. Only the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand has three tiers, so "Longside Middle Tier" listings point to that stand. Brentford supporters sit in the south-east corner, blocks E230 to E233 and STH229 on the club's map, so check the block if you want to be among home fans. The Old Trafford seating plan shows every section.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a man-u ticket per match?

Bought from the club, adult tickets for 2026/27 league games start at £33 in Category D, £44 in Category C, £55 in Category B and £62 in Category A, and only Official Members can buy them. Brentford is a Category B match. On the resale market, seats for this game start at £133 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Where can I watch Manchester United games on TV?

Not this one, as things stand: a 3pm Saturday kick-off falls inside the UK blackout, so Manchester United v Brentford is not broadcast live in the UK. For United's other games, check the broadcasters' announced picks, since only matches outside the Saturday 3pm slot can be shown live.

How to buy man UTD tickets without being a member?

For Premier League matches you cannot buy from the club without membership: league tickets, including returns from club resale, are sold only to Official Members, and there is no general sale. Adult membership costs £37.50 for 2026/27. Otherwise, resale is the route, with sellers setting their own prices and the final price shown before you pay.

Where do Brentford fans sit at Old Trafford?

In the south-east corner of the ground, between the East Stand and the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand: blocks E230 to E233 and STH229 are marked for away supporters on the club's 2026/27 price map. The away turnstiles are at that corner and open two hours before kick-off, and away fans can leave bags at the E2 car park bag drop.

How do I get to Old Trafford for the match?

The Metrolink is the usual way in: the Old Trafford stop is within a five-minute walk of the ground. Buses 255 and 256 (Stagecoach) and 263 (Arriva) run from Piccadilly Gardens to Chester Road, near Sir Matt Busby Way. From Manchester Piccadilly station, a taxi takes about 15 minutes, and official car parks must be booked online.
