What is a Liverpool season ticket?
A Liverpool season ticket is one payment for the same seat at all 19 Premier League home games in a season. Liverpool FC plays in the Premier League, England’s top division. Its home is Anfield, a stadium in the city of Liverpool that holds 61,276 people.
Everyone without a season ticket buys game by game through All Red, the club’s paid membership. A membership gives you the right to try for tickets, but it does not give you a seat. A credit is a record of a game you bought and attended, and credits decide who buys first.
| Question | Season ticket | All Red membership |
|---|---|---|
| What you pay first | From £734.50 for an adult | £42.99 for Full, or £18.99 for Light on the current offer |
| Your seat | The same seat at all 19 league games | A different seat for each game you get |
| League ballots | None needed | Needed unless you hold 13 or more credits |
| Can you get one today? | No | Yes, online |
How much is a Liverpool season ticket?
A Liverpool season ticket costs from £734.50 for an adult, £550.75 for an over-65, £367.25 for a young adult and £165 for a junior in 2026/27. The price depends on your tier, the club’s price band for each part of the ground. Liverpool’s season ticket price page lists these Premier League prices:
| Tier and stand | Adult | Over 65 | Young adult | Junior |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10: Kop | £734.50 | £550.75 | £367.25 | £165 |

Young adult prices now run to age 24, up from 21. Tiers 11 (Anfield Road) and 12 (Main Stand Upper) have no season ticket price, because those seats are sold match by match. The Anfield seating plan shows where each tier sits.
Disabled supporters have their own price list on the same page. Adults pay from £550.75 on Tier 10, over-65s from £413, young adults from £275.50, and juniors pay £124. Single-game prices are in the guide to how much Liverpool tickets cost.
Can you join the Liverpool season ticket waiting list?
No, you cannot join the Liverpool season ticket waiting list, because the club has closed it to new applications. Its season tickets page gives no date for reopening.
If you joined before it closed, you can see your position in the profile section of your Ticketing Account, the club’s online ticket account. Seats that come free go to people on the list during the club’s season ticket offer period. A place on the list cannot be passed to anyone else.
How long is the wait? Liverpool’s ticketing pages give no list length, no waiting time and no count of holders. Treat any number you see elsewhere as a guess.
How do you get a Liverpool season ticket in 2026/27?
You can only get a Liverpool season ticket in 2026/27 if you are on the waiting list, or if a close relative transfers theirs to you. Everyone else should start with All Red. Renewals are only for current holders, and they usually open in March.
How does a family transfer work?
A family transfer, which the club calls a change of ownership, passes a season ticket to a close family member. It is new from 2026/27. A close family member means a parent, child, sibling, spouse, grandparent or grandchild. Follow these steps in order:
- The holder asks. Only the current holder can start a request, on the club’s contact email form. Choose Ticketing, then Men’s Football, then Season Tickets.
- Send the details. Give the new holder’s name, address, phone number, email and date of birth.
- Prove the relationship. The club may ask for a birth, marriage, civil partnership or adoption certificate.
- Complete Fan Update. The new holder must finish the latest version of this club form.
- Both people approve. The club contacts you both to confirm.
- Settle any price difference. If the price type changes, say from adult to junior, you pay or get back the difference for the games left.
The club can refuse any request. The new holder also gives something up: their Premier League home credits go, any All Red membership is cancelled without refund, and they leave the waiting list. An under-16 must sit next to a named adult aged 18 or over at every game.
What do you get with a Liverpool season ticket?
A Liverpool season ticket gives you the same seat at all 19 Premier League home games, with no league ballot to enter. A ballot is a free prize draw for the right to buy, and most All Red members rely on it.
- Member benefits. General admission holders, meaning those in normal seats, get the same benefits as All Red Full, apart from the welcome gift.
- A shop discount. Show your NFC pass in any club store to claim it.
- A digital pass. Your NFC pass, a digital ticket in Apple Wallet or Google Pay, updates itself with your next game.
Does a Liverpool season ticket include cup games?
A Liverpool season ticket does not include cup games, because it covers Premier League home games only. For European, FA Cup and League Cup home games, holders use the Auto Cup Scheme, which gives you a seat automatically while Liverpool stay in a competition.
- First chance: eligible holders enrol during the renewal period, which usually opens in March.
- Second chance: holders who miss that can register for the scheme’s ballot alongside All Red members. Registration usually opens in June.
- Game by game: remaining tickets go to Priority Right Holders, fans with a right to buy for each home cup game. Holders and members with the right credits come next.
Liverpool v Porto on Wednesday 9 December 2026 at 8pm is the next example. Its sale details were not yet published on 31 October 2026.
What is the Liverpool Every Seat, Every Game rule?
The Every Seat, Every Game rule says a Liverpool season ticket seat must be used for at least 15 Premier League home games a season. A holder who renews without meeting the rule cannot renew again. Attending, forwarding the ticket and listing it on the Ticket Exchange all count.
| If you cannot go | How it works | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Ticket Forwarding, which sends your ticket to someone else | Usually opens 10 to 14 days before a home game. The person must be on your Friends and Family list, which takes 18 people | They need a season ticket, All Red or a free General Admission NFC pass. Neither of you earns a credit |
| Ticket Exchange, the club’s own resale service | List the seat in your account. All Red members can then buy it at face value, the printed price | If it sells, you get back your season price divided by 19, within 10 working days of the match. If it does not sell, you get nothing back, but the seat still counts as used |
The club advises listing early to give your seat the best chance of selling. The Liverpool Ticket Exchange guide shows each step.
Who is a Liverpool season ticket for, and who should not chase one?
A Liverpool season ticket suits fans who can get to Anfield for most home games, or who have friends and family ready to take a forwarded seat. The 15-game rule makes it a poor fit for anyone coming a handful of times.
- Not worth chasing if: you want one or two games a season. All Red and the sales for lower-demand games suit you better.
- Bringing children? Under-16s must be with an adult aged 18 or over, and a junior pays £165 in any tier. All Red Junior covers ages 0 to 16.
- Disabled fans? Register your access needs through Supporter Services first. The Disability Team is on 0151 264 2500, option 1.
- Living far away or abroad? Fifteen games is a lot to cover. Ticket Exchange refunds can go to a non-UK bank account.
What mistakes should you avoid with a Liverpool season ticket?
The main Liverpool season ticket mistakes are waiting for a closed list to reopen, leaving seats unused and missing the renewal window.
- Waiting and doing nothing. Join All Red now, because credits only build when you buy and attend.
- Leaving a game unused. If you cannot go, forward the ticket or list it on the Ticket Exchange, so the seat counts towards your 15 games.
- Removing your NFC pass. Keep it in your phone, or you may not be able to download it again.
- Forgetting cup enrolment. Miss the renewal window and you face a ballot for the Auto Cup Scheme.
- Transferring to a relative with credits. They give those credits up, so check first.
How do you get to Anfield on matchday?
Anfield is about two miles from Liverpool Lime Street station, and the easiest way there is a matchday bus. The streets around the ground are a residents-only parking zone, so do not plan on driving to the stadium.
- Travelling from outside Liverpool? Take a train to Lime Street. The 917 express leaves from nearby Commutation Row and takes about 15 minutes.
- By Merseyrail: go to Sandhills, then take the Soccerbus. It runs from two hours before kick-off until 90 minutes after full time.
- By taxi: the club says the ride from the city centre usually costs £8 to £10.
- Bags and payment: small handheld bags up to A5 size only, and the ground is cashless.
All kick-off times are UK time. Every game at the ground is on the Anfield tickets page.
What to do now (as of 31 October 2026)

Ballot registration for games from January closed at 10am on Monday 2 November. Do this next: if you are an All Red member, register for the Additional Members Sale for Liverpool v Manchester United between 11am on Friday 6 November and 10am on Saturday 7 November.

| March 2027, usually | Season ticket renewals for 2027/28, with details published first |
Sunderland, Leeds and Tottenham before Christmas are sold out at the club, with hospitality, a ticket with food and drink, still on sale from £190 for Sunderland. The Liverpool membership guide explains All Red, and the guide to how to get Liverpool tickets ranks every route. If the club routes are closed for your game, resale listings with live prices sit beside each fixture on the Liverpool tickets page.

How do you get a Liverpool season ticket?
In 2026/27 there are two ways: you are already on the waiting list, or a close family member who holds a season ticket transfers it to you. The club must approve a transfer and can refuse it. Everyone else should use All Red membership and the match-by-match sales.

Not automatically. Eligible holders can enrol in the Auto Cup Scheme for European, FA Cup and League Cup home games during the renewal period, which usually opens in March.
