The table opens with the Shortside Upper Tier at £136. Upper-tier seats behind the goals usually start lowest, while the lower tier along the touchlines and the central blocks sit higher. Seller's choice listings leave the exact block to the seller, away-section seats are listed apart at a clear premium, and Brodies appears as a hospitality option.

Liverpool v Sunderland: date, kick-off and how to watch
Sunderland visit Anfield for a Premier League game on Wednesday 2 December 2026, kick-off 7.30pm. The fixture is sold out at the official seller: the seats not held by season ticket holders went in the July All Red sale, and only matchday hospitality, from £190, is still on offer.
Hellotickets has resale seats from £136 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026). Sunderland are not on Liverpool's high-demand list, so the July ballot was open to every eligible All Red member, and a members' sale of returned seats is due about two weeks before the match.

The game kicks off at 7.30pm UK time on Wednesday 2 December 2026, at Anfield in Liverpool. As a Wednesday evening fixture it is unaffected by the 3pm Saturday blackout, and the UK channel is confirmed in the Premier League's television listings.
A weeknight start means a late finish: the matchday Soccerbus back to Sandhills station runs until 90 minutes after full-time.

How to get Liverpool v Sunderland tickets
Standard seats for Liverpool home games are sold only to season ticket holders and All Red members, and there is never a general sale. Membership for 2026/27 costs £26.99 (Light), £42.99 (Full) or £20.99 (Junior) a season. Here is where each official phase stands for Sunderland's visit:
- July sale, closed. Every eligible All Red member could register for the ballot from 13 July until 10am on 20 July, with the draw and payment on 30-31 July. Members holding 13 or more Premier League home credits had their own window on 28-29 July, after accessible seating on 27 July.
- Additional Members' Sale, to come. Seats that season ticket holders and members cannot use go back through the Ticket Exchange and are resold at face value to eligible members. Registration opens about two weeks before the match; no dates are published yet.
- Local and Young Adult ballots. At the same stage, 500 tickets are balloted among L-postcode addresses and a Young Adult ballot runs too.
- Hospitality, on sale. The club still offers matchday packages from £190, in The Isla Gladstone, ticket included.
Not a member? Then resale is the practical route. Seats listed on Hellotickets carry prices set by their sellers, which can be above face value, and the full price shows before you pay. Check how the seller will send your ticket. Our How To Get Liverpool Tickets guide explains credits and ballots.
Good to know before you go
- Register for the members' saleAll Red members should watch for the Additional Members' Sale registration, about two weeks before the game: returned seats are resold at face value, usually cheaper than resale.
- Under-16s need an adultChildren under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and ID may be requested at the turnstile.
- No paper at the turnstileEntry is by NFC pass in Apple Wallet or Google Pay. Supporters who meet the club's criteria can apply for a photo ID stadium access card instead.
- Bus there, bus backAnfield has no general parking. From Sandhills, the Soccerbus starts two hours before kick-off; the 917 leaves Commutation Row, near Lime Street, and takes about 15 minutes.
Where to sit at Anfield Stadium
Hellotickets sorts Anfield's 61,276 seats by position rather than by stand. Shortside means one of the two ends: the Kop, the single-tier home end at the Walton Breck Road end, with its rail seating, or the two-tier Anfield Road Stand opposite, which takes the away section and the Family Zone. Longside covers the touchline stands, the three-tier Main Stand with its hospitality lounges and the two-tier Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand, and Central marks the blocks near halfway.
Listings labelled Kop Grandstand put you in the home end, and Brodies is the sports bar package in the Anfield Road Stand. Sunderland's supporters will sit in the Anfield Road Stand too, in blocks their club confirms in its away notice. For the full layout, see the Anfield Stadium seating plan.
Frequently asked questions
How much are Liverpool v Sunderland tickets?
Liverpool's own match prices for 2026/27 start at £9 for an adult in Tier 12 of the Main Stand Upper, but the fixture is sold out at the official seller, with club hospitality from £190. On the resale market, Hellotickets lists seats from £136 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026), and sellers set their own prices.
Can I buy Liverpool v Sunderland tickets without being a member?
Not a standard seat from the club. Liverpool sell men's home tickets only to season ticket holders and All Red members, and the July ballot for this game has closed. Without membership, you can look at the matchday hospitality the club sells separately, or at resale seats listed on Hellotickets, where the final price is shown before you pay.
How can I buy a ticket for a Liverpool game?
Start with All Red membership: Light costs £26.99, Full £42.99 and Junior £20.99 a season. Members then enter the July sale for games up to 31 December or the November sale for games from 1 January, and can register for Additional Members' Sales of returned seats about two weeks before each match.
How much is a ticket for a Liverpool match?
Liverpool use one price table for every Premier League and European home game, set by seating tier rather than opponent. For 2026/27 an adult pays from £9 in the Main Stand Upper, £30 in Tier 11 of the Anfield Road Stand and £40.25 on the Kop. Resale prices are set by sellers and vary from one fixture to the next.
Why is it so hard to get Liverpool tickets?
Anfield's 61,276 seats are sold through season tickets, All Red membership sales and ballots, with no general sale. Members holding 13 or more Premier League home credits are entitled to a ticket in each sale, the remaining seats are balloted, and for the highest-demand opponents only members with four or more credits can enter.
Where do Sunderland fans sit at Anfield?
Sunderland's supporters are placed in the Anfield Road Stand, the end opposite the Kop, and enter from Anfield Road via 97 Avenue. Their turnstiles open two hours before the 7.30pm kick-off, the visitors' seats have rails for licensed safe standing, and Sunderland's away notice confirms the exact blocks.
