The game is pencilled in for Saturday 1 May 2027 at Anfield, Liverpool, and both the date and the kick-off time, still TBC, depend on the UK TV picks confirmed by the broadcasters. A 3pm Saturday kick-off would mean no live UK broadcast; any other slot would leave room for live coverage.
Liverpool's fixture page will carry the final date and time. Until then, keep any travel plans flexible.

How to get Liverpool v Chelsea tickets
Liverpool hold no general sale, and this is one of the fixtures where the club's rules are strictest. You need a season ticket or a 2026/27 All Red membership (Full £42.99, Light £26.99, Junior £20.99), and membership alone is not enough for the ballot.
Members with 13 or more Premier League home credits are entitled to a ticket and buy from 8.15am on Tuesday 10 November to 10am on Wednesday 11 November. Chelsea are on the club's high-demand list, so the seats left over are balloted only among members with four or more credits, whose registration ran from 2pm on Monday 26 October until 10am on Monday 2 November; the ballot is run, with payments, on 12-13 November.
About two weeks before the match, members can register for the Additional Members' Sale, where seats handed back via the Ticket Exchange are resold at face value; a 500-ticket local ballot for L-postcode addresses and a Young Adult ballot run alongside it. Hospitality, from £486, is sold separately; on 31 October the club's match page invited enquiries for it.
For fans without credits, resale is the practical route. Seats listed on Hellotickets are priced by sellers and can be above face value; you see the full price before paying. Our How To Get Liverpool Tickets guide explains how credits work.

Where to sit at Anfield Stadium
Chelsea's supporters will be in the away section of the Anfield Road Stand, behind the goal opposite the Kop, where the visitors' seats in rows 6-35 have rails for licensed safe standing and the wheelchair bays sit in blocks AL8 and AL9. The same two-tier stand houses the Family Zone. The home end is the Kop, a single tier at the Walton Breck Road end with large rail-seating sections, and the touchlines belong to the three-tier Main Stand and the two-tier Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand.
Hellotickets' Shortside listings are at the ends, Longside listings along the touchlines and Central ones near halfway. Kop Grandstand is the home end itself, listings labelled Anfield Road Stand share that stand with Chelsea's fans, and Brodies is hospitality. The Anfield Stadium seating plan has the detail.
Frequently asked questions
How much are Liverpool v Chelsea tickets?
Face value at Anfield is set by seat, not by opponent: Liverpool's 2026/27 adult prices start at £9 in Tier 12 and £40.25 on the Kop. Those seats go to All Red members, in a sale and ballot held in November, with hospitality from £486 available by enquiry. Resale seats are listed on Hellotickets from £442 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Can I buy Liverpool v Chelsea tickets without being a member?
No standard seat. Chelsea are on Liverpool's high-demand list, so the ballot, whose entry closed on 2 November, was open only to All Red members with four or more Premier League home credits, after members with 13 or more are served. Without that record, the routes are the club's hospitality, from £486 by enquiry, or resale seats listed on Hellotickets.
Is Liverpool v Chelsea sold out?
No. The match is not on sale yet at the official seller: ballot entry for members with four or more credits closed at 10am on 2 November, and members with 13 or more credits buy on 10-11 November. Resale listings on Hellotickets start at £442, and the final price is shown before you pay.
What time is kick-off for Liverpool v Chelsea?
TBC for now. Saturday 1 May 2027 is a provisional date, and the UK TV picks confirmed by the broadcasters decide whether the game stays at 3pm on the Saturday or moves. At 3pm on a Saturday it would not be broadcast live in the UK.
Where is Liverpool v Chelsea played?
At Anfield, Liverpool's stadium in the Anfield area of the city, about two miles from Lime Street station. It holds 61,276 and is reached by the 917 express from Commutation Row or by Merseyrail to Sandhills and the matchday Soccerbus; there is no general parking around the ground.
Where do Chelsea fans sit at Anfield?
Chelsea's supporters sit in the Anfield Road Stand, the end opposite the Kop. Visiting fans enter from Anfield Road via 97 Avenue, their turnstiles open two hours before kick-off, and the visiting club's notice confirms the exact blocks for the match.
