The match kicks off at 8pm UK time on Wednesday 9 December 2026, at Anfield in Liverpool. This is a Wednesday night, so the 3pm Saturday blackout is not a factor; the UK channel for the game is set by the rights holders and published in their own listings.

Liverpool's match page carries the confirmed time, so look at it again before you travel, as European schedules can change.

How to get Liverpool v Porto tickets

There is no general sale at Anfield, and European home games are sold in a fixed order. Liverpool's published route for this one runs:

  1. Auto Cup Scheme and Priority Right Holders are served first.
  2. Season ticket holders and All Red members follow, by their European credits. The club has not yet given dates for either stage, so the sale is still to come.
  3. Matchday hospitality is already on sale from £180, sold separately by the club.

All Red membership costs £42.99 (Full), £26.99 (Light) or £20.99 (Junior) for 2026/27, but a new member starts without European credits. The Ticket Exchange is limited to Premier League home tickets and does not cover cup games. Liverpool use one price table for league and European home games, starting at £9 for an adult in the Main Stand Upper.

If none of that applies to you, resale is the route. Seats listed on Hellotickets are priced by sellers, can sit above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Our How To Get Liverpool Tickets guide sets out the credit system.

Good to know before you go

  • Know your European creditsAll Red members should know how many European credits they hold before the sale is announced, since the priority groups are served first and members follow by credits.
  • Coming from workThe 926 runs from Liverpool ONE from 3.5 hours before kick-off, and the 17 leaves from Queen Square, handy for a midweek evening in the city centre.
  • Cards, not cashAnfield is cashless, with contactless and chip and pin in every area, so a bank card or phone covers food and drink.
  • How resale is protectedIn Hellotickets' words: "Every ticket is authenticated. If there's ever an issue, you're protected by our refund policy."

Where to sit at Anfield Stadium

The Kop, a single tier behind the goal at the Walton Breck Road end, is the home end, with large rail-seating sections. Porto's supporters go to the Anfield Road Stand behind the opposite goal, a two-tier stand that also contains the Family Zone; their exact blocks are set out in the visiting club's notice. The touchlines belong to the three-tier Main Stand, which houses the hospitality lounges, and the two-tier Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand, once the Kemlyn Road Stand and later the Centenary Stand.

Hellotickets listings follow the same geometry: Shortside is an end, Longside is a touchline stand and Central is close to halfway. Kop Grandstand seats sit with the home crowd, while The Boot Room Restaurant and Brodies are hospitality. The Anfield Stadium seating plan shows where each zone falls.
