Liverpool v Coventry: date, kick-off and how to watch
Liverpool host Coventry in the Premier League on Saturday 2 January 2027, the first Saturday of the year, with a 3pm kick-off at Anfield. The match is not on sale yet at the official seller: standard seats go to All Red members, ballot registration closed at 10am on Monday 2 November, and hospitality is already on sale from £402.

Unlike the high-demand fixtures, this game's ballot was open to every All Red member. The draw is made on 12 and 13 November, after the sale for members with 13 or more credits, and members who missed it can register for the Additional Members' Sale about two weeks before the match.

Kick-off is at 3pm on Saturday 2 January 2027 at Anfield, about two miles from Liverpool Lime Street. As a 3pm Saturday Premier League game it falls under the blackout and will not be shown live in the UK, so the stadium is the place to see it.
Any rescheduling would be published on Liverpool's fixture page. Look there during Christmas week, before you book travel to Merseyside.

How to get Liverpool v Coventry tickets
The members' sale for this game is under way, and its ballot registration has closed. Liverpool split the league season into two All Red sales, July for matches up to 31 December and November for matches from 1 January, and Coventry's visit falls in the second. There is no general sale, so here is the order the club has published:
- Become a member. A season ticket or a 2026/27 All Red membership is required: Light £26.99, Full £42.99, Junior £20.99.
- Ballot and November sale. Every All Red member could register for the ballot from 2pm on Monday 26 October until 10am on Monday 2 November, when registration closed. Members with 13 or more Premier League home credits are entitled to a ticket and buy from 8.15am on Tuesday 10 November to 10am on Wednesday 11 November; the ballot is then run, and successful entrants are charged on 12 and 13 November.
- Additional Members' Sale. About two weeks before the match, seats returned through the Ticket Exchange are resold at face value, with a 500-ticket local ballot for L-postcode addresses and a Young Adult ballot.
Hospitality from £402 can be booked now. If you would rather not wait for a ballot, seats are listed on Hellotickets by resale sellers who set their own prices, sometimes above face value; the final price is shown before you pay. All of the club's home games are on our Liverpool tickets page.

Where to sit at Anfield Stadium
Anfield holds 61,276, and its newest section is the Anfield Road Stand: two tiers behind the goal opposite the Kop, expanded by about 7,000 seats and largely opened in February 2024. It holds the away section, where Coventry's fans will sit in blocks set by their club's notice, as well as the Family Zone and rail seats in the lower tier. At the other end, the Kop is the single-tier home end, with large rail-seating sections. Along the sides run the three-tier Main Stand, with the hospitality lounges, and the two-tier Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand.
Read Hellotickets zones the same way: Shortside is behind a goal, Longside along a touchline and Central near halfway. Kop Grandstand is the home end, and The Boot Room Restaurant and Brodies are hospitality. The Anfield Stadium seating plan shows the blocks.
Frequently asked questions
How much are Liverpool v Coventry tickets?
At the club, adult prices for 2026/27 start at £9 in the Main Stand Upper, but standard seats for this game go only to All Red members, through the ballot and the November sale; hospitality is already available from £402. On the resale market, the Shortside Upper Tier starts at £209 on Hellotickets (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Can I buy Liverpool v Coventry tickets without being a member?
Not a standard seat. Liverpool sell men's home tickets to season ticket holders and All Red members only, and this game's ballot, open to every All Red member, closed to new entries at 10am on 2 November. Membership (Light costs £26.99 a season) is needed for the Additional Members' Sale about two weeks before the match. Otherwise, choose club hospitality or resale seats listed on Hellotickets.
Is Liverpool v Coventry sold out?
No: the match is not on sale yet at the official seller. Liverpool sell games from 1 January in a November All Red sale, where members with 13 or more credits are served first and the remaining seats are balloted among the whole All Red membership; ballot registration ran from 26 October to 2 November, and the draw is made on 12 and 13 November. On Hellotickets, resale seats begin at £209.
When do Liverpool v Coventry tickets go on sale?
Ballot registration for All Red members opened at 2pm on Monday 26 October and closed at 10am on Monday 2 November. Members with 13 or more Premier League home credits buy first, from 8.15am on Tuesday 10 November to 10am on Wednesday 11 November, then the ballot is run on 12 and 13 November. Returned seats follow in an Additional Members' Sale about two weeks before the match.
What time is kick-off for Liverpool v Coventry?
Kick-off is at 3pm on Saturday 2 January 2027, at Anfield. Premier League games starting at 3pm on a Saturday are not broadcast live in the UK, so this one will not be on live television here unless it is moved; check Liverpool's fixture page nearer the date.
Where do Coventry fans sit at Anfield?
Coventry's supporters will be in the Anfield Road Stand, at the opposite end from the Kop, with entry from Anfield Road via 97 Avenue and turnstiles opening two hours before kick-off. The wheelchair bays for visitors are in blocks AL8 and AL9, and Coventry's own notice confirms the blocks.
