How to get Liverpool tickets in 2026/27, with or without membership

Anfield has no general sale, so your route depends on your credits. Here is every way to get a Liverpool ticket, ranked by your real chance, with dates, prices and what to do first.

At a glance

  • Anfield has no general sale. For most men's home games you need a season ticket or a 2026/27 All Red membership: Full, Light or Junior.
  • All Red Full costs £42.99 a season and Junior £20.99. Light is £26.99, and the club was selling it at £18.99 on 31 October 2026.
  • Ballot registration for home league games from January closed at 10am on Monday 2 November 2026. The draw runs on 12 and 13 November.
  • Non-members can use club hospitality, a forwarded ticket or, with an L postcode address, the Local General Ballot of 500 tickets.
  • New members start with no credits. Seven of the ten league games from January are open to members with fewer than four credits.

How to get Liverpool tickets: join All Red, the club’s paid membership, from £18.99 a season on the current offer, then enter a ballot, a free prize draw. Anfield has no sale open to everyone. Without All Red, your routes are hospitality, a ticket forwarded by a friend or a local ballot for L postcodes.

Every fixture and its sale status at the club is on the Liverpool tickets page. All dates and prices here are as published by Liverpool FC on 31 October 2026.

How do Liverpool tickets work?

Liverpool FC tickets work through members, so you cannot simply go online and buy a seat. Anfield, the club’s stadium in the city of Liverpool, holds 61,276 people, and Liverpool FC plays its Premier League home games there. Men’s home games have no general sale, which means no sale open to everyone.

Liverpool’s How to Buy Tickets page says most men’s matches need a season ticket or a 2026/27 Full, Light or Junior All Red membership. Apart from season tickets, most normal seats go in two big All Red sales. July’s sale is for games up to 31 December, and November’s is for games from 1 January.

The club keeps at least 13,000 tickets for All Red members at each Premier League home game. These six terms explain nearly everything on its ticket pages:

  • All Red: the club’s paid membership. Full, Light and Junior open ticket sales. Video and Essential do not.
  • Match credit: a record of a game you bought and went to. More credits move you nearer the front of the queue.
  • Ballot: a free prize draw. Register, and if you are picked you get a ticket.
  • Ticket Exchange: the club’s own resale service. Fans list seats they cannot use, and the club sells them again at face value, the printed price.
  • Ticket Forwarding: a club service that sends your ticket to someone you know.
  • NFC pass: the digital ticket on your phone, which you scan at the turnstile, the entry gate.

What is the best way to get Liverpool tickets?

The best way to get tickets to a Liverpool game is the All Red ballot if you can be flexible, and club hospitality if you need one fixed date. This table ranks every route by your real chance today, for a fan with no credits.

Rank Route Who can use it When Your real chance
1 Club hospitality: a ticket with a lounge, food and drink Anyone with a free account On sale now for many games Very good, at hospitality prices
2 Ticket Forwarding Anyone on a holder’s or member’s Friends & Family list Typically 10 to 14 days before a home game Good, if you know someone
3 All Red ballot for selected games Full, Light and Junior members The July and November sales A draw, and the club publishes no odds
4 Additional Members’ Sale of returned seats All Red members who register About a week before each game A second chance, if seats come back
5 Local Members Ballot and Local General Ballot L postcode addresses. The first also needs All Red About a week before each game An extra draw of 500 tickets each
6 Young Adult ballot Full and Light members aged 17 to 24 Game by game A draw for 200 seats at £25.75
7 All Red sale with 13 or more credits Members who earned those credits in 2025/26 The July and November sales Certain, but closed to new members
8 Season ticket Current holders and fans already on the list Renewals usually open in March Closed to new names

Want one game a season and can pick the date? Buy All Red Light and enter the ballot for a lower-demand game. Need to be there on a set day? Hospitality is the only route that does not rely on luck or on someone you know.

How to get Liverpool tickets if you are not a member

You can get Liverpool tickets without being a member in three ways: club hospitality, a forwarded ticket, or the Local General Ballot if you have an L postcode address. Every other normal seat goes to All Red members or season ticket holders.

Club hospitality

Liverpool hospitality is a match ticket sold by the club with a lounge, food and drink. It needs no All Red membership and no credits, only a free account. On 31 October 2026, the lowest prices per person were £180 for Porto, £190 for Sunderland and £382 for Leeds United.

Hospitality on a Premier League game earns no match credit, so it gets you in without moving you up the queue.

A forwarded ticket

Ticket Forwarding lets a season ticket holder or All Red member send you their ticket through the club. You do not need All Red to receive one. Follow these steps in order:

  1. Create a free account on the club’s ticketing site.
  2. Ask your friend to add you to their Friends & Family list, which holds up to 18 people.
  3. Get a General Admission NFC pass and download it to your phone. They cannot send you the ticket until you do.
  4. Wait for forwarding to open, typically 10 to 14 days before a home game.
  5. Check your wallet before you travel, so the ticket is on your phone.

On a Premier League game, neither of you earns a credit. You also cannot receive a forwarded ticket for a game if you already hold one.

The Local General Ballot

The Local General Ballot offers 500 tickets to supporters with a registered address in an L postcode, and it needs no membership. L is the postcode area for Liverpool, and the club says local general tickets cost £9. Registration opens about two weeks before the match, and the ballot runs about one week before.

You can enter for up to four eligible supporters. The club takes card details when you register but charges winners only, and these tickets cannot be forwarded.

How do you get Liverpool tickets as an All Red member?

You get Liverpool tickets as an All Red member by joining, then registering yourself for each ballot or sale. Buying All Red does not enter you automatically. Do these steps in order:

  1. Join. Log in or create an account, then buy Full at £42.99, Junior at £20.99 or Light, normally £26.99 and £18.99 on the current offer. If tickets are all you want, Light is enough.
  2. Link your group. To register for friends or family, your accounts must be linked first.
  3. Register for the ballot. Choose your preferred seat location and price range, and give a valid payment card.
  4. Wait for the draw. The club gives winners their seats automatically and sends a confirmation email. Everyone else hears nothing.
  5. Missed out? Register for the Additional Members’ Sale for your game.
  6. Download your NFC pass on the phone you will take to Anfield. An All Red pass from last season no longer works.

The Liverpool membership guide compares every tier and explains the benefits.

Which games can a new member try for?

A new Liverpool member could enter the November ballot for seven of the ten league games at Anfield from January: Coventry, Crystal Palace, Hull City, Aston Villa, Ipswich, Newcastle and Brentford. Everton, Chelsea and Bournemouth, the final home game, need four or more credits. Registration closed at 10am on 2 November. Seats left after the draw go to Additional Members’ Sales, game by game.

Timeline for one real match: Liverpool v Coventry

Liverpool v Coventry on Saturday 2 January 2027 at 3pm shows how the steps fit together.

  1. Monday 26 October, 2pm: ballot registration opened.
  2. Monday 2 November, 10am: registration closed. No new entries were taken after that.
  3. Monday 9 November: accessible seating sales run, from 8.15am to midday for members with 13 or more credits, then 1pm to 5pm for ballot winners.
  4. Tuesday 10 November, 8.15am, to Wednesday 11 November, 10am: members with 13 or more credits buy, up to 4 a booking.
  5. Thursday 12 and Friday 13 November: the ballot runs, and winners are charged automatically.
  6. About two weeks before the game: registration opens for the Additional Members’ Sale and the local ballots.
  7. About one week before the game: that sale and those ballots take place.
  8. Saturday 2 January 2027, 3pm: kick-off. Have your NFC pass in your phone wallet before you leave home.

How hard is it to get Liverpool tickets?

Getting Liverpool football tickets is hard for a new fan, because credits decide who goes first and a new member starts with none. Liverpool publishes no ballot odds. The club says 70% of the tickets in these sales now go to members with 13 or more credits, where it used to be an even split.

Your Premier League home credits What you can do in each All Red sale
13 or more Buy a ticket for every home league game, with no ballot
4 to 12 Enter the ballot for all available games
Fewer than 4 Enter the ballot for selected games only

Seven games need four or more credits: Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and the final home game.

How do you earn Liverpool match credits?

You earn a Liverpool match credit by buying a normal ticket through a club sale and going to the game. Club sales here mean the All Red, Additional Members’, local and Young Adult sales. You earn none if you buy hospitality, forward a ticket or receive one. You also earn none if you list your ticket on the Ticket Exchange, whether it sells or not.

Credits now build over several seasons, in a system the club calls multi-year loyalty. For 2026/27, only credits from 2025/26 count. In 2027/28, this season’s credits join them, and in 2028/29 three seasons count together. So every game you attend now helps you from next season.

How do you get Liverpool tickets close to the game?

You get Liverpool tickets close to the game through the Additional Members’ Sale, a local ballot or the Young Adult ballot. All of these run game by game. Registration opens about two weeks before each match, and the club posts dates on its tickets availability page.

Sale or ballot Who can enter Size Worth knowing
Additional Members’ Sale All Red members who register, subject to eligibility Seats returned on the Ticket Exchange Resold at face value
Local Members Ballot All Red members with an L postcode address 500 tickets Cannot be forwarded
Local General Ballot Any supporter with an L postcode address 500 tickets No membership needed. Cannot be forwarded
Young Adult ballot Full or Light members aged 17 to 24 200 seats £25.75 in the Lower Anfield Road. Cannot be forwarded

Here is how that worked out for Liverpool v Manchester United on Sunday 22 November 2026 at 4.30pm:

  • Local and Young Adult ballots: register from 10am on Friday 6 November until 9am on Saturday 7 November. The ballots run on Wednesday 11 November. For the Local Members Ballot, All Red must be bought by 5 November.
  • Additional Members’ Sale: register from 11am on Friday 6 November until 10am on Saturday 7 November.
  • The sale itself: 11am on Monday 16 November, first come, first served, for registered members with four or more credits. It is up to 4 a booking, and the link arrives on 13 November.

Members below four credits can only buy for that game if further sales follow. The Liverpool Ticket Exchange guide explains where these returned seats come from.

How do you get a Liverpool season ticket?

You cannot get a new Liverpool season ticket at the moment, because the club’s Season Ticket Waiting List is closed to new names. A season ticket is one payment for the same seat at all 19 Premier League home games, and adults pay from £734.50 in 2026/27.

Seats now move in three ways: renewals, which usually open in March, offers to fans already on the list, and transfers to close family. The Liverpool season ticket guide sets out the prices and rules. What should you do instead? Join All Red, because credits are the one thing you can start building today.

How do you get Liverpool Champions League and away tickets?

You get Liverpool Champions League and away tickets mainly through credits, so neither is a route for a new fan. Liverpool keeps separate credit balances for each competition, split into home and away, and league credits do not help with a cup game.

Liverpool Champions League tickets

Liverpool Champions League tickets go first to the Auto Cup Scheme, which gives enrolled fans a seat automatically while the team stays in a competition. Priority Right Holders, who have a right to buy for each home cup game, come next. Season ticket holders and All Red members with the right credits follow.

As of 31 October 2026, the club had not published sale details for Liverpool v Porto on Wednesday 9 December or Lens on Wednesday 27 January. Both kick off at 8pm, and hospitality for both starts at £180. Looking for Liverpool v PSG tickets? No such game is listed as of that date.

Liverpool away tickets

Liverpool away tickets are sold match by match to fans with a credit balance for that competition. An away ticket gives you a seat in the visitors’ section of the other club’s ground. The credit level needed starts high and drops during the sale, until the game sells out.

Only rarely can All Red members with no away credits register. Premier League away tickets carry a £30 cap, which the league’s clubs agreed in March 2026 to keep for two more seasons.

  • Club Brugge, Wednesday 25 November, 8pm UK time: the club says released seats are sold in the week before the match.
  • Everton, Sunday 29 November at midday, at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
  • Chelsea, Saturday 5 December at 12.30pm, at Stamford Bridge.

Premier League and domestic cup away tickets cannot be forwarded or listed on the Ticket Exchange. European away tickets can go to someone on your Friends & Family list, if their account was created before the club’s deadline.

The Merseyside derby, the game between Liverpool and Everton, is among the hardest to get. At Anfield on Saturday 30 January 2027, it goes to a ballot for members with four or more credits.

How much is a ticket to a Liverpool match?

A ticket to a Liverpool match costs an adult from £40.25 on the Kop, the famous home end, in 2026/27. Juniors pay £9 in most areas. The price depends on where you sit, not on who Liverpool play. Here are the main costs side by side:

What you buy Price in 2026/27 What it gets you
All Red Light £26.99 a season, on offer at £18.99 Access to ticket sales
All Red Full £42.99 a season Ticket sales, a gift, video and a shop discount
All Red Junior £20.99 a season Ticket sales for a child
Adult match ticket From £40.25 on the Kop One seat, by price tier
Local general ticket £9 One seat, for L postcode addresses, through the ballot
Junior match ticket £9 in most areas One seat
Young Adult area £25.75 One seat, ages 17 to 24
Hospitality From £180 for Porto, from £190 for Sunderland A seat, a lounge and food or drink
Adult season ticket From £734.50 All 19 league home games. List closed

Prices by tier, stand and age are in the guide to how much Liverpool tickets cost.

How can a tourist or first-timer get Liverpool tickets?

A tourist or first-timer gets Liverpool tickets most easily through club hospitality, because it needs no membership, no credits and no luck. If your dates are flexible, All Red costs far less, but you depend on a draw.

  • Best for one fixed date: hospitality. Compare games first, because Sunderland starts at £190 and Tottenham at £487.
  • Not worth it if: you live nearby and can wait. All Red and a lower-demand game cost far less.
  • Coming from abroad? Book your seat before your flights. Your phone must hold the NFC pass, and iOS 16 and above and most Android phones work.
  • Bringing children? Each child needs their own All Red Junior, for ages 0 to 16. Under-16s must be with an adult aged 18 or over.
  • Coming as a group? One ballot entry can cover four eligible supporters, if your accounts are linked.
  • Disabled fans: register your access needs with the club first. Accessible sales for games from January run on Monday 9 November, and the Disability Team is on 0151 264 2500, option 1.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Waiting for a general sale. Men’s home games never have one, so start with All Red.
  • Joining but not registering. Buying All Red does not put you in a ballot.
  • Letting a payment fail. If your bank declines, the draw moves to the next entry and your tickets go too.
  • Chasing credits with forwarded tickets. On a Premier League game, nobody earns one.
  • Forgetting your friends. Accounts must be linked before you can register for them.
  • Expecting an email if you lose. The club only writes to winners, so check the next sale yourself.

What should you know on matchday at Anfield?

On matchday at Anfield, general admission turnstiles open two hours before kick-off, and the club advises arriving early. General admission means normal seats. Anfield is about two miles from Liverpool Lime Street station, and all kick-off times here are UK time.

  • Your ticket: scan your NFC pass from your phone wallet. Download it before you arrive, and do it on your phone, not a computer.
  • Travelling from outside Liverpool? Take a train to Lime Street, then the 917 express bus from Commutation Row, which takes about 15 minutes.
  • By Merseyrail: the Soccerbus leaves Sandhills station from two hours before kick-off and runs until 90 minutes after full time.
  • By taxi: the ride from the city centre usually costs £8 to £10, the club says.
  • Driving? The streets around the ground are residents-only, so use a park and ride from a Merseyrail station.
  • Bags: small handheld bags up to A5 size only, 148.5 x 210mm. Every supporter over 16 is searched.
  • Paying: Anfield is cashless, so carry a card or phone.

The Anfield seating plan explains each stand. Other games at the ground are on the Anfield tickets page.

What to do now (as of 2 November 2026)

As of 2 November 2026, the All Red ballot for games from January is closed to new entries: registration ended at 10am that day. Members with 13 or more credits get their link by email on 5 November and buy from 8.15am on Tuesday 10 November. Do this first: if you entered, check your payment card before the draw on 12 and 13 November, because a declined payment passes your tickets to the next entry.

Sunday 22 November 2026, 4.30pm Manchester United Additional Members’ Sale on Monday 16 November. Hospitality from £599, the Hilton Hotel package

For the sold-out games, watch for the Additional Members’ Sale. Its dates were not yet published on 31 October 2026. If every club route is shut for the game you want, resale listings with live prices sit beside that fixture on the Liverpool tickets page.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get Liverpool tickets if I am not a member?

Without All Red, Liverpool gives you three routes. You can book club hospitality with a free account, receive a ticket forwarded by a member or season ticket holder, or enter the Local General Ballot of 500 tickets if your registered address has an L postcode. Every other normal seat is sold to members or season ticket holders.

How much is a ticket to a Liverpool match?

An adult ticket for 2026/27 costs from £40.25 on the Kop, the home end. The price depends on the seat, not the opponent. You also need All Red, from £18.99 on the current Light offer. Juniors pay £9 in most areas, and local general tickets for L postcodes also cost £9.

How hard is it to get Liverpool tickets?

Hard for a new fan. There is no general sale, new members start with no credits, and 70% of the tickets in All Red sales go to members with 13 or more credits. Liverpool publishes no ballot odds. Your realistic chances are lower-demand ballots, Additional Members' Sales and hospitality.

Can a friend send me their Liverpool ticket?

Yes, through the club's Ticket Forwarding, if you are on their Friends & Family list. It typically opens 10 to 14 days before a home game. If you are not a member or season ticket holder, create a free account and download a General Admission NFC pass first. Neither of you earns a Premier League credit.

When is the next All Red ticket sale?

Two are coming up. For home league games from January, ballot registration closed at 10am on Monday 2 November 2026; members with 13 or more credits buy from 8.15am on Tuesday 10 November, and the ballots run on 12 and 13 November. For Manchester United on 22 November, Additional Members' Sale registration runs from 11am on Friday 6 November to 10am on Saturday 7 November.

How do I get a Liverpool season ticket?

You cannot join the list today, because Liverpool's Season Ticket Waiting List is closed to new names. Seats pass through renewals, to fans already on the list, or to close family through a club transfer. Adults pay from £734.50 in 2026/27. If you want regular games, join All Red and start building credits.

How do I get Liverpool away tickets?

Liverpool sells away tickets match by match to fans with a credit balance for that competition. The level needed starts high and drops until the game sells out, and only rarely can members with no away credits register. Premier League away tickets carry a £30 cap, and sale details appear on each fixture page.

How do I get Liverpool Champions League tickets?

Liverpool sells Champions League home tickets to the Auto Cup Scheme first, then Priority Right Holders, then season ticket holders and All Red members with the right credits. As of 31 October 2026, sale details for Porto and Lens were not published. Without European credits, hospitality from £180 is the realistic route.

What is the best website for Liverpool FC tickets?

Liverpool FC's own site, liverpoolfc.com, is the place to start. The club runs All Red sales, ballots, the Additional Members' Sale and hospitality there, and Ticket Forwarding runs through your club account. Its tickets availability page shows each game and the sale that applies to it.

How can I contact Liverpool FC customer support?

Liverpool FC has a Help Centre at faq.liverpoolfc.com, and the club says its contact form aims for a reply within 48 hours. For hospitality, call +44 151 264 2222, option 2, from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Disabled supporters can call the Disability Team on 0151 264 2500, option 1.
