How to get RB Leipzig tickets
How to buy RB Leipzig tickets (official route)
Check the club's ticket page first
Every home game appears on rbleipzig.com/en/matches/tickets with a live label, from "Good availability" down to "Sold out", so you can see at a glance whether the club still has seats. The sale itself runs on tickets.rbleipzig.com and at the Red Bull Arena box offices.
Exclusive sales: who goes first
When a game is put on exclusive sale, access opens in a fixed order:
- regular travelling fans, the Vielfahrer who follow the team away;
- season-ticket holders and Official Fan Club members;
- fans who attended at least four home games over the last two seasons;
- the free sale, open to everyone.
For Lens, the pre-sale waves ran on 28 September and the free sale opened at 10am German time on 29 September, with seats from €15. Pre-sale dates are announced game by game, so follow the club's news for the Bundesliga fixtures.
The 2026/27 home games on this page
Lens on Tuesday 24 November and Shakhtar on Wednesday 20 January both kick off at 9pm in Leipzig, 8pm in the UK, and were on free sale with the club's "Good availability" label in October 2026; the Shakhtar sale also offers Prime Seats. Borussia Dortmund, provisionally on Saturday 19 December, had not yet been added to the club's shop, and Bayern Munich, provisionally on Saturday 27 February, had no sale date published.
If you cannot go
The official RBL ticket exchange lets match-day and season-ticket holders return a ticket they cannot use for a refund of its face value. It is the club's own route for handing a seat back.
RB Leipzig resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand
Two fixtures stand apart on the resale market. RB Leipzig v Borussia Dortmund tickets start far above anything else on the list, and RB Leipzig v Bayern Munich tickets come next. Neither had gone on sale at the club, so for now sellers have those games to themselves.
The Champions League nights are a different story. RB Leipzig v Lens tickets and the visit of Shakhtar sit at the bottom of the range on Hellotickets, and the club still had seats on free sale for both. For those two games, buy from Leipzig first: it will usually cost less.
Within a match, listings usually open in Category 2. The Category 1 bands (including Gold and Silver), Category 3 and seats sold by side of the ground, A to D Seite, sit higher. Some listings are labelled General Admission, and seller's-choice listings, where the seller picks the block, appear apart from hospitality.
Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay.
Red Bull Arena Leipzig: stands, seating and getting there
The Red Bull Arena stands in the Sportforum, at Am Sportforum 3 in Leipzig's Zentrum-Nordwest district, next to the Arena Leipzig and the Festwiese. Until 2010 it was the Zentralstadion, a name many locals still use, and in UEFA competitions it is called the RB Arena.
For domestic games the maximum capacity is 47,800: 32,924 seated, 14,876 standing and 4,735 places for away fans. For European matches it is 45,228, with 2,261 away places.
The home end is Sektor B, the south stand behind the south goal: a home-fans-only terrace with 10,500 standing places, which has stayed standing for Champions League and Europa League matches since the 2022/23 season. Visiting supporters are in blocks 3.2 to 7.
Tram lines 3, 4, 7, 8 and 15 run from Leipzig Hauptbahnhof towards the ground, and on matchdays the City of Leipzig lists Sportforum Süd and Waldplatz among the stops serving it. Parking near the stadium is scarce, and RB Leipzig point drivers to park-and-ride sites such as the Leipziger Messe, Schönauer Ring and Völkerschlachtdenkmal. For Bundesliga games, the city says match tickets include free local public transport for five hours before and after the game; for a European match, check what your ticket says.
RB Leipzig away tickets
Visiting supporters at the Red Bull Arena are housed in blocks 3.2 to 7, which have standing and seated areas. Away tickets are issued as Print@Home tickets, and each holder must use the standing or seated area printed on theirs. Only the visiting team's colours or neutral clothing are allowed there.
The away section is cashless, admits bags no larger than A4, has a bag drop at its entrance and opens two hours before kick-off. There is no parking for away fans: matchday shuttle buses leave from the Hauptbahnhof-Ostseite stop and bring supporters back to the central station from Landauer Brücke.
Leipzig's own regular away travellers, the Vielfahrer, get first call when a home game goes on exclusive sale.
