At a glance

  • MyForest Core costs £45 for adults in 2026/27, with £40 for ages 18 to 21, £35 for ages 14 to 17 and £30 for Junior Reds aged 4 to 13.
  • Home Premier League tickets are sold only to members. Each membership buys one ticket per game, for the member who holds it.
  • Forest says all home games and several away games reached the Core sale window last season.
  • Match tickets cost extra. For Chelsea, a Category A game, adults paid from £50 and children from £18.
  • Plus at £75 and Pro at £99 cannot be bought new. You reach them by renewing and upgrading, and both are capped.

A Nottingham Forest membership, called MyForest, costs £45 for an adult in 2026/27 and gives you the right to buy home Premier League tickets. You need one, because league tickets at the City Ground are sold only to members. Core is the level anyone can buy, and each match ticket costs extra.

The Nottingham Forest tickets page shows upcoming games and where each sale has got to.

What is a Nottingham Forest membership?

A Nottingham Forest membership is a one-season fee that gives you the right to join home ticket sales. It does not include a ticket or a seat. Nottingham Forest is a Premier League club, and it plays at the City Ground in West Bridgford, Nottingham, which holds 31,212 people according to the Premier League Handbook 2026/27.

The 2026/27 membership runs from 1 August 2026 to 31 May 2027. It is non-refundable, and you cannot pass it to someone else. Your membership card is digital, in the club’s app, and it holds no match tickets.

Searching for a bronze or gold membership? The club’s 2026/27 list uses the names Core, Plus and Pro.

How much is a Nottingham Forest membership?

A Nottingham Forest membership costs £45 for an adult on MyForest Core, the level open to new members in 2026/27. The prices for younger fans are lower. The table shows each level and the day it gets to buy, about four weeks before a home game.

How much do match tickets cost on top?

Match tickets cost extra. The price depends on your age, your seat and the category, which is the price band of that game. Forest has two categories for general admission, A and B. Adults pay from £50 for Category A and from £45 for Category B. Here is what members paid for Nottingham Forest v Chelsea, a Category A game:

Age band Chelsea ticket from
Adult (22-65) £50
Senior (66+) £40
Young Adult (18-21) £35
Youth (14-17) £22
Child (4-13) £18

What do you get with a MyForest membership?

A MyForest membership gives you priority access to tickets for all home Premier League and cup games. Everything else is a small extra, so buy it for the tickets.

  • Ticket access: your sale window, plus the members’ ballot, a free draw whose winners can buy a ticket.
  • The Ticket Exchange: the club’s own system for buying seats that season card holders cannot use. The club says over 1,000 seats per game are listed on average.
  • Forwarded tickets: a season card holder can send a game’s ticket to you online, and you must be a MyForest member to receive it.
  • Digital extras: a Forest TV discount, the Matchday Messages Portal, a monthly email and a free digital programme from age 16.
  • Shop offers: member-only flash sales, including percentage discounts and free shipping.
  • Junior Reds: competitions to be a mascot, and a free ticket for a Forest Women home game.

Can you buy Nottingham Forest tickets without a membership?

A Nottingham Forest home league ticket needs a membership in almost every case, because these games never go on sale to the public. The club says it is extremely likely that all home games will sell out to members. Three routes remain:

  • Hospitality: a package with food and drink, from £199 for any home league game, open to non-members.
  • Home cup games: after holders and members, these reach a general sale on the Thursday.
  • A season card: the Nottingham Forest season ticket guide explains the £10 waiting list.

How many games can you see with a Core membership?

A Core membership can get you to most home games if you buy as soon as your window opens. Nottingham Forest says all home games and several away games reached the Core window last season. Its ticketing page says over half of home league games reached Core in the previous couple of seasons. So the higher levels are not essential for a first season.

Each home game follows the same pattern. This was the sale for Chelsea:

When What happened
Monday 19 October, 10am MyForest Pro members buy
Tuesday 20 October, 10am MyForest Plus members buy
Wednesday 21 October, 10am Core, Junior Reds and International Reds buy
Wednesday 21 October, 2pm Ballot opens to all members, and closes at 10am on Thursday
Thursday 22 October, 4pm Ballot results, and winners can buy
Friday 23 October, 10am Winners’ deadline, then a second sale
Friday 23 October, midday Ticket Exchange opens

The club always holds back some tickets for the ballot, so missing your window does not end your chances. A ballot application can cover six people, and each must be a member. If you already bought a ticket for that game, you cannot get another through the ballot.

Exchange seats are sold at the full adult rate, so a child’s price does not apply there. They are non-refundable.

Can you choose your seat with a MyForest membership?

Yes, you pick from the seats left on the stadium plan when you buy online, one ticket per membership. Your choice shrinks as each window passes. Exchange seats show in pink on the same plan, so look for those if a game has sold out.

How do you join MyForest?

You join MyForest by creating a free account on the club’s ticket site and buying the level for your age. Any supporter can join, and you need no booking history. Do these steps in order:

  1. Create a free account at tickets.nottinghamforest.co.uk.
  2. Buy your membership. New members have been able to buy since 10am on Wednesday 29 July 2026.
  3. Set up family and friends. Each person needs their own account, because an account can hold one membership.
  4. Add the sale dates to your phone through the club’s ECAL calendar link.
  5. Check the ticket news for the game you want, then buy in your window.

Your membership pack comes by post. If you join after August, allow up to 28 working days.

Can you join MyForest part-way through the season?

Yes, you can join MyForest Core part-way through the season, because Core is uncapped and sold to new members. There is no waiting list for it. Your membership still ends on 31 May 2027 whenever you join.

How do you upgrade to MyForest Plus or Pro?

You upgrade to MyForest Plus or Pro by renewing first, then applying if the club has spaces. Only renewing Core members can apply for Plus, and Pro opens only to Plus members. Forest warned that a high renewal rate might leave no room for upgrades.

Memberships renew automatically unless you opt out. In 2026 the club took payment at 4pm on Wednesday 1 July, then tried again on 8 July and 15 July. Anyone still unpaid after that could not renew and had to buy Core instead.

Is there a Nottingham Forest away membership?

Nottingham Forest has no away membership for MyForest members. The club’s Away Ticket Scheme is a £40 add-on for season card holders and seasonal hospitality members only, and sign-up for 2026/27 closed at 4pm on Friday 14 August.

MyForest members can buy away tickets only after season card holders have had their chance. The club says that will probably mean lower-demand midweek and cup games, so do not join for away days alone.

Is a Nottingham Forest membership worth it, and who should not buy one?

A Nottingham Forest membership pays off if you want to see Forest at home even once, because it is the normal way to buy a league ticket. It is not worth it if you only want hospitality, or if away games are your main aim.

  • Best for: anyone who wants a home game without waiting for a season card offer.
  • Bringing children? Junior Reds must go with a paying adult, and both need to be members to buy. Forest Firsts gives a free ticket and programme at selected games to Junior Reds who have never been to a Forest match. Apply through the form in that game’s ticket news.
  • Disabled fans? Only the registered disabled supporter needs a membership, because the companion ticket is free. Call 0115 982 4388 for help.
  • Coming from abroad? International Reds has a small, separate ticket allocation, which helps you book flights early. The club says 99% of these members got tickets for home games.
  • Going with friends? Each of you pays for a membership. Put everyone on one ballot application, or one of you may win and the other lose.

What mistakes should you avoid with MyForest?

The most common MyForest mistake is expecting one membership to cover a friend or child, because each membership buys one ticket for the person who holds it.

  • Holding out for a public sale. Home league games stay members-only.
  • Paying with an old card. A failed automatic renewal can cost you a Plus or Pro place.
  • Forgetting to opt out. The club charges the saved card unless you opt out before the renewal date.
  • Checking the exchange only once. It stays open until the turnstiles open, 90 minutes before kick-off.

How do you use your ticket on matchday?

Your Nottingham Forest ticket is digital: it comes by email, and you add it to your phone before you leave home. The City Ground is on Pavilion Road, postcode NG2 5FJ, about a mile from Nottingham station. All kick-off times are UK time.

  • Getting there: walk over Trent Bridge in 20 to 25 minutes, or take a bus numbered 5 to 11.
  • Driving from elsewhere in the UK? Junctions 24 and 26 of the M1 are the ones to use.
  • Bags: A4 size at most. Expect a search, so arrive early.
  • Choosing a seat? The City Ground seating plan compares the stands.

What to do now (as of 31 October 2026)

As of 31 October 2026, you can still join MyForest Core, and the live sale is Chelsea on Friday 27 November at 8pm. Do this first: join, then check the Chelsea second sale and Ticket Exchange, which have been open since 23 October, subject to availability.

After that, Everton on Saturday 19 December at 3pm and Fulham on Saturday 2 January 2027 at 3pm go on sale to members about four weeks before kick-off. Dates are not announced yet. Sold out at the club? Each game on the Nottingham Forest tickets page also lists resale seats at today’s prices.

MyForest members can buy away tickets once season card holders have had their chance, usually for lower-demand midweek and cup games.

MyForest Plus costs £75 and is capped at 5,000 members, and MyForest Pro costs £99 and is capped at 5,500. You cannot buy either as a new member. You reach them by renewing and applying to upgrade, if spaces exist. Plus buys on the Tuesday and Pro on the Monday.

Can I buy tickets for friends with my MyForest membership?

No. Each membership buys one ticket, for the member who holds it. Friends need their own accounts and memberships. For sold-out games you can enter the ballot as a group of up to six, but every person in the application must be a member without a ticket for that game.

Does a MyForest membership renew automatically?

Yes. Memberships are opted in to auto-renewal when you buy them, and they renew unless you opt out before the renewal date. In 2026 that date was 1 July, with further attempts on 8 and 15 July for failed payments. The club says it gives notice first, so keep your card details current.
