The Shortside Upper Tier is where listings start, from £222.

The lower Longside zones are the dearest of the standard areas, and the Shortside Section and Longside Section listings sit in a far higher bracket. Seller's choice listings leave the block to the seller, while away-section seats are listed separately, for Bournemouth supporters.

Seats listed on Hellotickets start at £222 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026).

The Premier League lists the fixture provisionally for Saturday 23 January 2027 at the City Ground, the Forest home in West Bridgford on the south bank of the Trent, with the kick-off TBC. Provisional dates like this one are firmed up once the broadcasters make their selections.

If it stays in the 3pm Saturday slot, it will not be shown live in the UK, because of the 3pm blackout. If it moves for television, the broadcaster is announced with the new time.

How to get Nottingham Forest v Bournemouth tickets

Who can buy. Only MyForest members, as Forest hold no general sale for league games. Adult Core membership costs £45 for 2026/27; Plus (£75) and Pro (£99) are available only by renewal or upgrade.

When. About four weeks before the match, in a single on-sale week: Pro members on the Monday, Plus on the Tuesday, then Core, Junior Reds and International Reds on the Wednesday, each from 10am. A members' ballot opens at 2pm that Wednesday, with results and a purchase window on the Thursday and a second sale on the Friday morning.

How much. Adult (22-65) match tickets start at £45 in Category B or £50 in Category A.

If it sells out. The Ticket Exchange opens at 12pm on the Friday. General Admission season-card holders list their seats, members buy at the full adult price, and the Exchange closes when the turnstiles open, 90 minutes before kick-off.

Other routes. The club sells hospitality packages separately, from £199 for every 2026/27 home league game. Without membership, the alternative is resale: seats listed on Hellotickets carry prices set by sellers, which can be above face value. Read our Nottingham Forest Membership guide before the on-sale week.

Good to know before you go

  • Coming up by carLeave the M1 at junction 24 if you are driving from the south, set the satnav to NG2 5FJ and follow the signs for Trent Bridge cricket ground, next door to the City Ground.
  • Wait for the confirmed slotThe date is provisional and the kick-off TBC, so hold off on travel you cannot change until the Premier League confirms the date and time.
  • Bags and searchesExpect a search with a metal detector wand at the turnstiles. Anything bigger than A4 is not allowed, and the club advises coming without a bag at all.
  • Buying resaleHellotickets says every ticket is authenticated and that, if there's ever an issue, you're protected by its refund policy; the final price is shown before you pay.

Where to sit at City Ground

The away section is the lower tier of the John Robertson Stand, at the opposite end to the Trent End, and that is where Bournemouth's fans will be. Renamed in 2026 from the Bridgford Stand, it also has an upper tier, under a roof that slopes down so that sunlight reaches the houses on Colwick Road.

Along the sides, the Peter Taylor Stand is the main stand and the Brian Clough Stand opposite has two tiers and executive boxes. On Hellotickets, Shortside zones sit behind a goal and Longside zones along a touchline; as a home supporter, check that a Shortside listing is not in the away section. The City Ground seating plan shows the stands in detail.

Frequently asked questions

How much are Nottingham Forest v Bournemouth tickets?

Resale seats listed on Hellotickets start at £222 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026), with lower-tier and touchline seats listed higher. At the club, adult (22-65) MyForest members will pay from £45 or £50, depending on the match category, once the sale opens.

Can you buy Nottingham Forest tickets without being a member?

For Premier League home games, no: Forest sell them to MyForest members only and hold no general sale. Domestic cup ties are the exception, as they sometimes go to a general sale. For a league match such as Bournemouth, non-members can look at resale listings.

How much is a ticket for a Nottingham Forest game?

For 2026/27, adult (22-65) member tickets start at £45 in Category B and £50 in Category A, the band used for games such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City. You also need membership, with adult Core at £45 a season, and hospitality packages for home league games start at £199.

Is it hard to get Nottingham Forest tickets?

It takes planning. The City Ground holds 31,212, league tickets are for MyForest members only, and the sale moves through priority days by tier and a members' ballot. If general admission sells out, the Ticket Exchange offers season-card seats to members at the full adult price until the turnstiles open.

The fixture is provisionally set for Saturday 23 January 2027 at the City Ground, with the kick-off time to be confirmed. Premier League dates and times can change when the broadcast selections are made, so check again before booking travel.

Where do Bournemouth fans sit at the City Ground?

Visiting supporters are in the lower tier of the John Robertson Stand, the end facing the Trent End that older guides call the Bridgford Stand. Away-section seats also appear among resale listings and are meant for Bournemouth fans, so home supporters should avoid them.
