Nottingham Forest v Manchester United: date, kick-off and how to watch
Manchester United's visit to Nottingham Forest is provisionally scheduled for Saturday 20 February 2027, a Premier League match at the City Ground. Forest restrict home league sales to MyForest members, so joining the right queue matters more than waiting for a public release. No match-specific sale dates have been announced, and membership does not itself secure a seat.
The club status is not on sale yet at the official seller, checked 5 Nov 2026. Resale seats listed on Hellotickets start at £442 in the Shortside Upper Tier, with prices checked 5 Nov 2026. United supporters should distinguish the designated away section from home seating before choosing a listing.

Saturday 20 February 2027 remains a provisional date; kick-off is TBC. The venue is the City Ground in West Bridgford, Nottingham, on the south bank of the River Trent. Avoid treating an advertised resale listing time as a confirmed match schedule.
UK television selections are confirmed by the broadcasters, and no channel is specified for this fixture. Wait for the confirmed date and time before fixing your journey, especially if you need a return train after the game.
Official ticketing
Sale dates not announced yet; MyForest members get tickets about four weeks before.
Membership: MyForest Core (adult), £45 adult, 2026/27 (MyForest Plus £75 and Pro £99 by renewal or upgrade only).
How to get Nottingham Forest v Manchester United tickets
Forest have not dated the Manchester United sale. The usual home league process gives membership tiers access in sequence:
- Check your tier. MyForest Pro has priority, followed by Plus, then Core, Junior Reds and International Reds. Adult Core membership costs £45 for 2026/27; Plus is £75 and Pro £99, with those higher tiers available only through renewal or upgrade.
- Follow the ballot stage. A members' ballot follows the priority releases, with a purchase window for successful applicants and a subsequent second sale. Use the club's fixture announcement for the actual dates rather than calculating them from February's provisional schedule.
- Use returned season-card seats. Once general admission sells out, the Ticket Exchange lets eligible MyForest home members buy at the full adult price. It closes when turnstiles open.
There is no general sale for Premier League home games. Club hospitality is a separate option; the Nottingham Forest Membership guide explains the standard ticket route.
Without access through membership, compare Hellotickets resale offers. Sellers determine their charges, which may exceed face value. Check the transfer conditions and total payable before placing an order.
Good to know before you go
- Prepare your phoneForest require digital tickets for all supporters in 2026/27. Add your ticket to your smartphone wallet before reaching the ground.
- Travel lightBags cannot exceed A4 size, and everyone faces entry searches, including a metal detector check. Allow time for that process.
- Walk from the stationNottingham station is roughly a mile away. The club estimates a 20–25 minute walk, useful when planning your arrival in West Bridgford.
- Choose the correct endFor a seat with United supporters, check for an explicit away-section description in the lower John Robertson Stand before ordering.
Where to sit at City Ground
Start with the ends: the Trent End backs towards the river, while the John Robertson Stand faces it across the pitch. The latter was formerly called the Bridgford Stand, the name still used in some ticket information. Manchester United's away section is in its lower tier; a generic behind-goal description does not establish that a seat is among visiting supporters.
For a touchline perspective, look towards the Brian Clough Stand or the opposite Peter Taylor Stand, the main stand. Hellotickets calls these broad positions Longside; Shortside describes seats behind either goal. Upper and Lower specify the tier, not supporter allegiance. Use the City Ground seating plan alongside the stated block before buying.

How much are Nottingham Forest v Manchester United tickets?
Hellotickets resale prices begin at £442 in the Shortside Upper Tier, checked 5 Nov 2026. Forest have not supplied a match-specific adult price or category for this fixture. A membership fee buys access to the club's sales process and is separate from the cost of a match ticket.
Can I buy Nottingham Forest v Manchester United tickets without being a member?

Is Nottingham Forest v Manchester United sold out?
The supplied club position is that the standard sale has not opened and its dates are unannounced, rather than that the match has sold out. Forest's recorded position is not on sale yet at the official seller, checked 5 Nov 2026. Resale offers do not establish whether Forest have released their own allocation.
Where do Manchester United fans sit at the City Ground?
The visiting section occupies the lower tier of the John Robertson Stand, previously known as the Bridgford Stand. It is behind the goal opposite the Trent End. Check the supporter designation as well as the block: Shortside alone does not identify an away ticket.
