At a glance

  • Red Membership, the main adult level, costs £38 a season. It lets you enter the ballot for every men's home game, but the ticket itself costs extra.
  • Arsenal's published 2026/27 ballot success rates so far are 5% to 12% for Red members and 24% to 58% for Silver members.
  • You cannot buy Silver (£59) directly. Red members join a waiting list in order of purchase, and a place opens only when a Silver member does not renew.
  • Children's levels with ticket access cost £15 to £32 a season. The level for under-4s has no ticket rights, and free Digital Membership has no tickets either.
  • As of 31 October 2026, the next home ballot is Arsenal v Ipswich, open from 12pm on Friday 6 November to 12pm on Monday 9 November.

Arsenal membership for an adult usually means Red Membership, which costs £38 a season and lets you enter the ballot, a free prize draw, for every men’s home game. It does not include a ticket. Arsenal’s published 2026/27 success rates so far are 5% to 12% for Red and 24% to 58% for Silver.

Fixtures, match categories and sale dates are on the Arsenal tickets page.

What is Arsenal membership, and do you need it?

Arsenal membership is a paid plan, renewed each season, that gives you the right to apply for tickets. You need one for almost every normal seat, because Arsenal, the north London club, sells men’s home tickets only to members. There is no general sale, meaning a sale open to everyone.

Membership is not a season ticket, which is one payment for your own seat at every league game. A member applies game by game, and Arsenal is clear that joining does not promise you a ticket.

How much does Arsenal membership cost?

Arsenal membership costs £38 a season for most adults, according to the club’s help centre. Children pay less, and Silver costs £59. All levels renew automatically unless you cancel.

Level Age Price a season Enter ballots?
Digital All fans Free No. Video and a newsletter only
Welcome To Our World 0 to 3 £10 No
Team JGs 4 to 11 £15 lite, £25 full Yes
Young Guns 12 to 16 £15 lite, £25 full Yes
Cannon 17 to 18 £32 Yes
Red 18 and over £38 Yes
Silver Waiting list only £59 Yes, drawn first

Team JGs and Young Guns are Junior Gunners levels, Arsenal’s memberships for children. The full version adds a membership pack and a free stadium tour code.

What are Arsenal Gold and Platinum memberships?

Arsenal Gold and Platinum memberships are season tickets, not levels you can simply buy. Gold covers General Admission seats, the normal lower and upper tiers, and it comes through the season ticket waiting list. Platinum covers Club Level, the premium tier, from £3,740 for a seat only on the latest published list, headed 2025/26. It takes a 25% non-refundable deposit. The Arsenal season ticket guide explains both.

What does a ticket cost on top?

An Arsenal ticket costs extra, because a winning entry is charged the member price plus booking fees. Adult prices start at £31.80 in Category C, £44.80 in B, £61.20 in B+ and £78 in A. A category is the price band for a game. The guide to Arsenal ticket prices has every area.

Children and seniors pay less, but each match has a limit on these lower prices. Once a limit is reached, a winner pays the adult price. Seniors aged 66 and over can apply for match tickets at 25% off through the ballot.

What do you get with Arsenal Red Membership?

Arsenal Red Membership gives you entry to the ballot for every men’s home game, access to the Ticket Exchange, and 10% off club retail online and in store.

  • Ballot entry: apply alone, or in a group of up to four members.
  • Ticket Exchange: Arsenal’s own resale service, where season ticket holders and members put seats back at full price. You can use it after losing a ballot.
  • Digital pass: a pass in the Arsenal app. Any ticket you win appears on it about a week before the game.

How do you get Arsenal Silver Membership?

You get Arsenal Silver Membership by buying Red and waiting. Every Red member goes on a waiting list automatically, strictly in order of purchase, and you cannot buy Silver directly. Numbers are capped, so a place opens only when a Silver member does not renew.

What differs Red Silver
Price a season £38 £59
How to get it Buy it online Move up from the Red waiting list
Ballot order After Silver Before Red
Success rates so far in 2026/27 5% to 12% 24% to 58%
Ticket Exchange After the Red ballot Silver-only window between the two ballots

Arsenal says there are far fewer Silver members than Red members, which is why the odds are better. If you do not renew Red, you lose your place in the queue.

How many games can an Arsenal member really see?

An Arsenal Red member should expect to lose most ballots, because the published success rates so far this season are only 5% to 12%. Ballots are typically held four to six weeks before each match, with dates posted on arsenal.com, and each game has its own draw. Seats are handed out in this order:

  1. Season ticket holders already have their seats.
  2. 19-game season ticket holders get a window to buy their own seat for European league-phase games.
  3. Disability Access members buy first from the ballot, then Silver winners are charged, then Red winners.
  4. The Ticket Exchange opens to unsuccessful Silver members, then to all unsuccessful members once the Red ballot ends.
  5. Everyone else gets in only if the club opens the Exchange to other members for that match.

How can you improve your chances in an Arsenal ballot?

You cannot buy better odds in an Arsenal ballot, but you can avoid wasting an entry:

  • Enter every game you would attend. Each draw is separate, and a losing entry earns you Exchange access for that match.
  • Ignore the clock. Arsenal says you can enter at any stage of the window and your odds stay the same.
  • Widen your areas. Pick two price bands and tick the option to be placed in any remaining area.
  • Think about group size. A group wins or loses together. If only pairs of seats are left, groups of three or four are not drawn.
  • Keep your card valid. If the payment is declined, your application is unsuccessful.

How do you join Arsenal membership?

You join Arsenal membership online through the Membership pages on arsenal.com, and the whole process takes these five steps. Entering a ballot afterwards is free, and your card is charged only if you win.

  1. Buy your level. Pick Red if you are 18 or over.
  2. Set up the app. Your Arsenal membership login is your email or username and password. Use it in the Arsenal app, then add your digital pass to your Apple or Google wallet.
  3. Build your Network. This is your list of linked accounts. Add anyone you plan to apply with before the ballot opens.
  4. Enter a ballot. Register, choose up to two price bands and authorise a card.
  5. Check your result under Ballot Activity in the Ticket Hub, the ticket section of the app. Arsenal tries to email results, but checking is your job.

You can buy one ticket per membership for most games, so each person going needs their own membership.

Can you buy Arsenal tickets without a membership?

You can buy Arsenal tickets without a membership only through a hospitality package or an authorised ticket agent, according to Arsenal’s help centre. Hospitality is a ticket that comes with food and drink, and the club sells it without a ballot. Call 0345 262 0001 and select option 2.

A friend with a season ticket can also send you their seat by Ticket Transfer, the club’s free service. You receive it in a free digital account, so no membership is needed.

Is Arsenal membership worth it?

Arsenal membership is worth it if you want to go regularly and will enter every ballot. It is a poor way to chase one big game, because the draw is against you.

  • Best for: fans who can get to north London and are happy with any game.
  • Not worth it if: you only want one match. Weigh the odds against hospitality.
  • Bringing children? Junior Gunners levels can enter ballots, and a junior aged 14 or over can enter alone. Groups can ask for the family area in blocks 28, 29 and half of 30. Children aged 13 and under must sit within reach of an adult aged 18 or over.
  • Disabled fans: buy the Disability Access membership for your age, then link an Access Card or a free Digital Access Pass from Nimbus, the club’s partner. Allow five business days before entering Disability Access ballots.
  • Coming from abroad? Red Membership is a gamble for a fixed trip. Hospitality is the more certain route.

How do you cancel or renew Arsenal membership?

Arsenal membership renews automatically at the end of each season, but you can cancel at any time. The club contacts you towards the end of the season to say when renewal is due. To cancel:

  1. Log in to the Online Box Office, the club’s ticket website.
  2. Open My Account and follow the cancellation steps.
  3. If your payment was taken in the last 14 days, request your refund online.

For help, use the Enquiry Form and pick Membership, or call the Membership Team on 0344 277 3625.

What mistakes should new Arsenal members avoid?

The main mistakes new Arsenal members make are joining too late for one game, wasting a ticket they won and mixing ballots.

  • Joining too late. Some games have an embargo, a cut-off date for new members. Memberships bought after 26 August 2026 cannot buy for Real Madrid.
  • Not using a ticket. Members who fail to use their seat more than once are blocked from ballots for the rest of the season. Listing it on the Exchange counts as use.
  • Mixing ballots. A Silver member can only enter the Red ballot in a group with a Red member, and never after entering the Silver ballot.

What happens on matchday if you win a ticket?

If you win an Arsenal ballot, you enter the Emirates Stadium with the digital pass on your phone. The stadium is in Holloway, north London, and holds 60,704 people. Arsenal station on the Piccadilly line is about three minutes’ walk away.

  • Arrive early. Arsenal recommends at least 90 minutes before kick-off.
  • Pack light. Nothing bigger than A4 is allowed, and every bag is searched.
  • Bring a card. The stadium is cashless.

To see where the ballot may place you, read the Emirates Stadium seating plan.

What to do now (as of 31 October 2026)

As of 31 October 2026, the next Arsenal home ballot opens on Friday 6 November. Do this first: buy Red before that ballot closes, so you can enter it. A new member can enter unless the club sets an embargo.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an Arsenal membership cost?

Arsenal Red Membership costs £38 a season for adults, and Silver costs £59 but is only open through the Red waiting list. Cannon, for ages 17 and 18, costs £32. Junior Gunners levels cost £15 or £25. Digital Membership is free but has no tickets. Match tickets cost extra.

Is it worth being an Arsenal Red member?

Arsenal Red Membership is worth it if you want to go regularly and will enter every ballot. Published 2026/27 success rates so far are only 5% to 12%, so expect to lose most entries, then try the Ticket Exchange. For one big game, hospitality or a friend's transferred seat is more realistic.

How do I get Arsenal Silver membership?

You cannot buy Arsenal Silver Membership directly. Buy Red and you join the Silver waiting list automatically, strictly in order of purchase. Silver numbers are capped, so a place opens only when a current member does not renew. Keep renewing Red, because you lose your place in the queue if you stop.

Can I buy Arsenal tickets without a membership?

Arsenal's help centre says the only ways to buy without a membership are a hospitality package or an authorised ticket agent. A friend with a season ticket can also send you a seat by Ticket Transfer, which arrives in a free digital account. Normal ballots and the Ticket Exchange are for members.

How do I cancel my Arsenal membership?

Log in to the Online Box Office, open My Account and follow the cancellation steps. If payment was taken in the last 14 days, you can request a refund online. You can also send the Enquiry Form, choosing Membership, or call the Membership Team on 0344 277 3625. You can cancel at any time.

Does Arsenal membership automatically renew?

Yes. Arsenal membership renews automatically at the end of each season, but you can cancel at any time. The club contacts members towards the end of the season to say when renewal is due, so that is the moment to decide. Red members who stop renewing lose their place on the Silver waiting list.

Can I buy two tickets on one Arsenal membership?

Usually not. Arsenal sells one ticket per membership for most games, so each person going needs their own. You can apply together as a group of up to four members, and the group wins or loses as one. During selected Friends and Family sales, up to three additional tickets may be possible.

What are Arsenal's ballot success rates?

Arsenal's published success rates for 2026/27 so far are 5% to 12% for Red members and 24% to 58% for Silver members. Silver is drawn first and there are far fewer Silver members. Rates change by game, so check the club's ballot page for the latest figures before you decide to join.

What is Arsenal Digital Membership?
