Nottingham Forest sell home Premier League tickets only to MyForest members, in a sale week that starts about four weeks before each match. Members buy on set days according to their tier, a ballot follows, and the club's Ticket Exchange takes over once general admission has sold out. League games never reach a general sale.
This page lists 13 Forest home fixtures at the City Ground for 2026/27. Resale seats on Hellotickets start from £222 across them (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Next up at the City Ground: Nottm Forest v Chelsea on Friday 27 November.
Chelsea, on Friday 27 November at 8pm, is on sale to members now: Pro and Plus first, Core members since 10am on 21 October, then a ballot. Sale dates for the later fixtures had not been announced in October.

How to buy Nottingham Forest tickets (official route)
Join MyForest
An adult MyForest Core membership costs £45 for 2026/27. MyForest Plus (£75) and Pro (£99) are available only by renewal or upgrade, and both buy earlier in the week; Junior Reds and International Reds buy alongside Core. The Nottingham Forest membership guide explains the tiers.
The on-sale week
About four weeks before each home league game, the sale follows a fixed pattern:
- Monday, 10am: MyForest Pro members.
- Tuesday, 10am: MyForest Plus members.
- Wednesday, 10am: Core, Junior Reds and International Reds, with a members' ballot opening at 2pm the same day.
- Thursday: ballot results and a purchase window for successful applicants.
- Friday: a second sale in the morning, then the Ticket Exchange from midday if general admission has sold out.
The Ticket Exchange
General Admission season-card holders list the seats they cannot use once a home league game has sold out, and MyForest home members buy them at the full adult price. The exchange goes live at midday on the Friday of the on-sale week and closes when the turnstiles open, 90 minutes before kick-off.
Two price categories
Adult prices (ages 22 to 65) for 2026/27 home league games start at £50 in Category A, for opponents such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City, and at £45 in Category B, Coventry City for example.
No general sale, hospitality apart
Forest hold no general sale for league games; only domestic cup ties may open to the public. Matchday hospitality for every 2026/27 home league game has been on sale since July, from £199, in spaces such as the Trentside Lounge, McGovern's Lounge, the Robin Hood Suite and The Boardroom.
Nottingham Forest resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand
As the club sells league games only to members, resale is the route for everyone else, and Forest's home list splits neatly in two. Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool start on a clearly higher level, beginning with Nottingham Forest v Chelsea on 27 November. The other ten games, from Everton and Fulham to Hull City, Newcastle and Ipswich, all started from the same point at the latest check, so for those the seat matters more than the opponent.
Within a match the order barely changes. The upper tier behind a goal ("Shortside Upper Tier" on Hellotickets) opens the range, the touchline upper tier ("Longside Upper Tier") and the lower tier behind the goal come next, and lower touchline seats sit highest of the standard areas. The away section is the lower tier of the John Robertson Stand, behind a goal, so check the stand on any lower-tier listing at that end.
Sellers set their own prices, well above the club's £45 and £50 categories, and the final price is shown before you pay. With a MyForest membership, the club route costs less.
City Ground: stands, seating and getting there
The City Ground stands on Pavilion Road in West Bridgford, on the south bank of the River Trent, about a mile from Nottingham city centre and next to Trent Bridge cricket ground. Opened in 1898, it holds 31,212 for 2026/27. The City Ground seating plan maps its stands:
- Trent End, behind the goal at the river end: rebuilt in 1994-96, with the Trentside Lounge in its mezzanine.
- John Robertson Stand, behind the opposite goal: the former Bridgford Stand, renamed in 2026 and still called that on some pages. Its sloping roof lets sunlight reach the houses on Colwick Road, and the away section is in its lower tier.
- Brian Clough Stand, along one touchline: opened in 1980 as the Executive Stand, with an upper tier and executive boxes.
- Peter Taylor Stand, the main stand opposite, renamed in 2015 after Brian Clough's assistant.
- A corner stand of about 500 seats, built from shipping containers, between the Trent End and the Brian Clough Stand.
The club has applied to expand the ground to more than 52,500, so stand details may change.
Nottingham station is roughly a mile away, a 20-25 minute walk or a ten-minute bus ride, and the club says bus services 5 to 11 stop closest. Drivers leave the M1 at junction 24 or 26 and follow signs for Trent Bridge cricket ground.
From 2026/27 every supporter needs a digital ticket in a smartphone wallet. Everyone is searched on entry, including with a metal detector wand, and bags must be no larger than A4; the club recommends coming without one.
Nottingham Forest away tickets
Visiting supporters sit in the lower tier of the John Robertson Stand, behind the goal opposite the Trent End; Tottenham's official travel guide of 2 September 2026 still calls it the Bridgford Stand. The away turnstiles and the Visitors' Ticket Office collection point, open 90 minutes before kick-off, are in that stand, with away wheelchair bays in blocks W2 and X2.
If you support Forest and buy on resale, the Trent End and the two touchline stands keep you clear of the visiting section.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy Nottingham Forest tickets without membership?
Not for Premier League games. Forest sell home league tickets only to MyForest members, from £45 a season for an adult Core membership, and the Ticket Exchange is for members too; only domestic cup ties may go on general sale. Matchday hospitality, from £199, is sold separately by the club. Otherwise, resale seats are listed on Hellotickets, where the final price is shown before you pay.
How easy is it to get Nottingham Forest tickets?
It depends on your tier and the match. Pro members buy first on the Monday of the on-sale week, Plus members on the Tuesday and Core members on the Wednesday, when a ballot also opens at 2pm. If general admission sells out, members can still try the Ticket Exchange from midday on the Friday until the turnstiles open, 90 minutes before kick-off.
How much does a Nottingham Forest ticket cost?
For 2026/27, adult prices (ages 22 to 65) start at £50 in Category A, for games such as Chelsea, and £45 in Category B, on top of a MyForest membership from £45. Hospitality starts at £199. On resale, seats listed on Hellotickets across the home fixtures start from £222 (checked 5 Nov 2026), with Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool priced higher.
When do Nottingham Forest tickets go on sale?
About four weeks before each home league game, in a set week: Pro members from 10am on the Monday, Plus on the Tuesday, then Core, Junior Reds and International Reds on the Wednesday, followed by a ballot from 2pm. For Chelsea on Friday 27 November, Core members could buy from 10am on 21 October; the later fixtures had no sale dates yet in October.
Where do away fans sit at the City Ground?
In the lower tier of the John Robertson Stand, the former Bridgford Stand, behind the goal opposite the Trent End. The away turnstiles and the Visitors' Ticket Office collection point, which opens 90 minutes before kick-off, are in that stand, and the away wheelchair bays are in blocks W2 and X2.
