Ipswich tickets 2026/27

A ballot five weeks out and one ticket per Super Blues membership: how Ipswich sell Portman Road seats in 2026/27.

Updated 28 Oct 2026

Ipswich open every Premier League home game with a members' ballot about five weeks before kick-off, for Super Blues members who were also members last season and have no season ticket. Winners buy first, then the rest of the membership, one ticket per membership, and a general sale is announced only if tickets remain.

Across the 13 Ipswich home fixtures listed here, seats on Hellotickets start from £123 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Next up at Portman Road: Ipswich v Aston Villa on Saturday 28 November.

The Aston Villa ballot closed at midday on 21 October: successful entrants could buy from 23 October, other members from 26 October and season ticket holders from 27 October. The later games, from Newcastle on 12 December onwards, follow the same five-week pattern, but their dates had not been announced by late October.

How to get Ipswich tickets

How to buy Ipswich tickets (official route)

Join Super Blues

Super Blues is the club's membership: £40.99 for an adult in 2026/27, or £35.99 if you also hold a season ticket, plus £4 for UK delivery. At every stage of a sale, one ticket is sold per membership or season ticket.

Enter the members' ballot

About five weeks before each home game, a ballot opens for 2026/27 Super Blues members without a season ticket who were also members in 2025/26. That condition matters: if you join now, you cannot enter the ballot this season, but you can buy in the members' phase that follows it.

Know the sales order

  1. Successful ballot entrants buy first.
  2. Other 2026/27 members follow.
  3. Then members who hold a season ticket, and season ticket holders.
  4. A general sale is announced only if tickets remain, which is rare.

Grades and prices

League games are priced in two grades. For an adult, Grade A starts at £33 in the West Stand family blocks EE-JJ and at £38 elsewhere; Grade B starts at £28 in those family blocks and at £34 elsewhere.

The club's resale platform

Season ticket holders can list unused seats on the club's official resale platform at tickets.itfc.co.uk, from the moment the ballot opens until 4pm on matchday. Listed seats are released to eligible buyers from the first sales window. Our Ipswich season ticket guide covers the holder's side of it.

Saturday 3pm kick-offs

Newcastle on Saturday 12 December and Brentford on Boxing Day, Saturday 26 December, both kick off at 3pm, inside the Saturday 3pm blackout, so neither will be broadcast live in the UK.

Ipswich resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand

Two visits lead Ipswich's home season on the resale market: Ipswich v Arsenal tickets in February and Ipswich v Manchester United tickets in April. Everton and Manchester City in May come next, then Chelsea on 30 December, with Hull City, Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Leeds grouped just below.

The lower end is made up of Newcastle, Brentford on Boxing Day and Aston Villa, and the Coventry match in January is the lowest starting point. For a member, the club's Grade A and B prices sit far below any of these listings.

Within a match, listings usually start either in the lower tier behind a goal ("Shortside Lower Tier" on Hellotickets) or in the upper tier along a touchline ("Longside"). Central touchline seats sit higher, a few listings are priced far above the rest of the match, and hospitality is listed separately, so compare the areas before choosing.

Sellers set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay.

Portman Road Stadium: stands, seating and getting there

Portman Road, less than 10 minutes' walk from Ipswich town centre (IP1 2DA), has been the club's home since 1884 and holds 30,294 at the start of 2026/27. Every stand is multi-tiered:

  • Sir Bobby Robson Stand (North Stand), behind the north goal: two tiers, rebuilt in 2001.
  • Sir Alf Ramsey Stand (South Stand), behind the south goal: two tiers, the hospitality entrance for the Sir Bobby Robson Suite and Beattie's, and overflow family seating in blocks 1-3.
  • Cobbold Stand, along the east touchline on Portman Road itself: two tiers, the away section and, in Block A, the home Singing Section, where fans stand throughout.
  • West Stand, along the west touchline: three tiers, the directors' box and the family areas, with the home fan zone behind it.

Ipswich station is just under 10 minutes' walk. Park & Ride buses run from London Road, at the A12/A14 Copdock interchange, and from Martlesham, off the A12, dropping off in West End Road and Princes Street; parking is free and you pay for the bus. There is no official stadium car park, and event-day charges apply at the council's long-stay car parks.

The ground is entirely cashless, bags larger than A4 are refused and there is nowhere to leave them, and smoking, including e-cigarettes, is banned. Tickets are digital and show your stand, tier, seat and turnstile.

Ipswich away tickets

Visiting supporters are housed along the Cobbold Stand touchline: blocks VU1, VU2 and VU3, which are safe standing, and the seated blocks VL and VA, with a maximum allocation of 3,000. Away tickets are sold only through the visiting club, with no sales on the day, and are collected at the window next to the away turnstiles; away coaches park in West End Road car park.

The home Singing Section, Block A, is in the same stand, so check the block of any Cobbold Stand seat on the resale market before you buy.
