How to get Ipswich v Coventry tickets
There is no open club sale for Coventry yet. To prepare for the ballot, check three things: that you are a 2026/27 Super Blues member, that you also belonged in 2025/26, and that you do not have a season ticket. A first-time member can have a later buying opportunity but does not meet that opening ballot rule.
Ipswich let successful ballot applicants buy first. The following groups are current members without season tickets, members with season tickets, and season ticket holders. Each membership or season ticket carries a one-ticket entitlement. General sale is announced only where seats remain after the priority process.
Adult Super Blues membership is priced at £40.99, with a £35.99 rate for season ticket holders and £4 UK delivery. Unused season ticket seats also return through the club's resale platform; eligible buyers can access those listings from the first purchase phase. None of these phases has a Coventry date to put in your diary.
For visiting supporters, start with Coventry's away-ticket allocation; see the Coventry tickets guide. Hellotickets provides resale listings if the club routes do not suit your eligibility. Sellers determine the asking prices, sometimes above face value. Confirm the seat's supporter category, delivery method and final price before payment.
Good to know before you go

- Consider Park & RideIpswich Park & Ride serves London Road and Martlesham, with drops near the ground; check service details for your evening return.
- Read the block on your phoneYour digital ticket identifies the stand, tier, seat and turnstile, which is especially useful where visiting and home blocks occupy Cobbold.
- Pack within the limitBags must be no larger than A4 at Portman Road; arrange another place for anything bigger because the ground offers no storage.
Where to sit at Portman Road Stadium
For this fixture, compare the lower-tier goal-end offers with the touchline seats rather than assuming every lower seat has the same view. Shortside means behind a goal: Sir Bobby Robson is the north stand and Sir Alf Ramsey is the south. Longside refers to the West or Cobbold touchline, and Central brings the position nearer halfway.
The West Stand contains family seating, supplemented by Sir Alf Ramsey blocks 1–3. Coventry fans have the Cobbold away section on the east side, including safe standing upstairs in VU1–VU3 and seated blocks VL and VA. Cobbold's Block A is a home Singing Section where standing continues throughout the game; it is not part of the visitors' area.
