Ipswich v Everton: date, kick-off and how to watch

Everton are due at Portman Road for a Premier League fixture provisionally dated Sunday 30 May 2027, kick-off TBC. Nothing is on sale yet: the match is not on sale yet at the official seller, and Ipswich will start it with a Super Blues members' ballot around five weeks before kick-off.

Seats listed on Hellotickets start at £328 in the Longside Upper Level (checked 5 Nov 2026).

The thing to understand early is that Ipswich sell almost entirely to members and season ticket holders: a general sale happens only if seats are left, which is rare.

The Premier League lists Ipswich v Everton for Sunday 30 May 2027, but treat the date as provisional and the kick-off as TBC until the league confirms its broadcast picks for that weekend. The venue is Portman Road, less than ten minutes' walk from Ipswich town centre.

A Sunday slot would not fall under the 3pm Saturday blackout, and UK television picks are confirmed by the broadcasters when the schedule is set. Check the kick-off again before you book trains to Suffolk.

How to get Ipswich v Everton tickets

Every Premier League home game at Portman Road follows the same membership-first route, sold at tickets.itfc.co.uk:

  1. Members' ballot. It opens about five weeks before kick-off and is open to 2026/27 Super Blues members without a season ticket who were also members in 2025/26.
  2. Successful ballot entrants buy first.
  3. Other 2026/27 members follow, then members who hold a season ticket and season ticket holders. Each membership or season ticket allows one ticket.
  4. General sale only if tickets remain, which is rare.

Super Blues membership costs £40.99 for an adult in 2026/27 (£35.99 for season ticket holders), plus £4 UK delivery. League games are priced in two grades: Grade A from £33 and Grade B from £28 for an adult in the West Stand family blocks, with other areas from £38 and £34.

Season ticket holders can list unused seats on the club's resale platform from the moment the ballot opens until 4pm on matchday; those seats go to eligible members from the first sales window. Read our Ipswich Season Ticket guide if you are thinking longer term.

Everton supporters buy their away tickets through Everton (see Everton tickets). For anyone without membership, seats listed on Hellotickets are the realistic route: sellers set their own prices and the final price is shown before you pay.

Good to know before you go

  • Membership by springThe ballot opens about five weeks before kick-off, so a Super Blues membership needs to be in place by late April to have any chance.
  • Cashless groundPortman Road takes contactless or card only, and there is nowhere to leave bags larger than A4.
  • Train is easiestIpswich station is just under ten minutes' walk; there is no official stadium car park, so driving means council car parks or Park & Ride.
  • Everton fans: no sales on the dayAway tickets are all sold through Everton in advance; collection is at the window next to the away turnstiles.

Where to sit at Portman Road Stadium

Portman Road has four multi-tiered stands. The Sir Bobby Robson Stand (north) and the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand (south) sit behind the goals, both two tiers. Along the touchlines are the Cobbold Stand on the east, Portman Road side, and the three-tier West Stand with the directors' box.

Everton's fans go in the Cobbold Stand: safe standing in blocks VU1 to VU3 and seats in VL and VA. Block A of the same stand is the home Singing Section, where Ipswich fans stand for the whole match. Families sit in the West Stand family blocks, with overflow in blocks 1-3 of the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand.

Most Hellotickets zones for this game are Longside, meaning the Cobbold or West Stand along the touchline; Longside Lower Tier Central is near halfway. The away fan section is listed separately, as is a Hall of Fame line.
