How to get Ipswich v Manchester City tickets
Portman Road tickets are sold at tickets.itfc.co.uk to Super Blues members and season ticket holders, in this order:
- Ballot (about five weeks before kick-off). Open to 2026/27 Super Blues members without a season ticket who were also members in 2025/26. For a mid-May fixture, that points to early April.
- Ballot winners complete their purchase first.
- Further members' windows: other 2026/27 members, then members who hold a season ticket and season ticket holders. One ticket per membership or season ticket.
- General sale only if tickets remain; for City's visit, do not count on it.
Super Blues costs £40.99 for an adult in 2026/27 (£35.99 for season ticket holders), plus £4 UK delivery. League prices come in two grades: an adult seat in the West Stand family blocks starts at £33 for Grade A or £28 for Grade B, and other areas at £38 or £34.
Season ticket holders who cannot go can list their seat on the club's resale platform until 4pm on matchday, and eligible members can pick those up. More on season tickets in our Ipswich Season Ticket guide.
City supporters buy away tickets through their own club: see Manchester City tickets. Without membership, seats listed on Hellotickets are the route; sellers set their own prices and the final price is shown before you pay.

Where to sit at Portman Road Stadium
Four stands make up Portman Road. The Sir Bobby Robson Stand (north) and Sir Alf Ramsey Stand (south) are two-tier ends; the Cobbold Stand (east, on Portman Road itself) has two tiers and executive boxes; the West Stand has three tiers, the directors' box and the family areas.
Manchester City's allocation, up to 3,000, is in the Cobbold Stand: safe standing in blocks VU1 to VU3 and seats in VL and VA. Ipswich's Singing Section is Block A of the same stand, standing throughout.
Hellotickets lists this game in Longside zones along the touchline, Lower and Lower Tier close to the pitch, Upper Tier and Upper Level higher up, plus Longside Lower Level and a Hall of Fame line. The starting listing has no section specified, so the seller picks the seat. Away-section tickets are listed separately.
