Authenticated ticketsRefund policySecure payment
1. FC Köln cap season tickets at 25,500 and, once allocations are made, put about 15,000 day tickets on sale for each home game. Every game then gets its own members-only presale date, with a limit of two tickets per member, so joining the club is the way in.
A general sale is rare in Cologne, and tickets resold on the club's Ticketbörse carry a 15% service fee on top of the day-ticket price.

How to get Cologne tickets
How to buy Cologne tickets (official route)
Membership comes first
A 1. FC Köln membership is needed for every presale. Without it you are left waiting for the rare general sale or for resale, so if you plan to see more than one game, joining is the first step. The club's ticketing information is at fc.de/service/stadionerlebnis/ticketing.
One presale date per game
Köln set a separate members-only presale date for each home game, and each member can buy two tickets at most. For the visit of Bayern Munich no presale date had been published at the last check, so watch the club's ticketing page for the announcement.
The July early-bird sale
Part of the day tickets went before the season started. An early-bird sale from 14 to 16 July gave members one third of the day tickets for the home games of the first half of the season, and its third phase, on 16 July, covered Leipzig, Freiburg and Dortmund. A third of the day tickets for the Dortmund game was therefore offered to members back in July.
Buying in the shop
Sales run through the FC ticket shop at ticket-onlineshop.com/ols/fckoeln, which runs a queue. Log in with your member details before the start time and keep the two-ticket limit in mind.
The Ticketbörse
The club's official Ticketbörse resells tickets that other fans hand back. They cost the day-ticket price plus a 15% service fee, and they are often reserved for members, so check it regularly once a game's presale has passed.
Cologne resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand
Bayern Munich are the dearer of the two visits on this page: Cologne v Bayern Munich tickets start well above Cologne v Borussia Dortmund tickets at the last check.
For the Dortmund game, listings open in the Nordtribüne, with the Osttribüne and Westtribüne close behind and the Südtribüne a little higher. Listings that name an upper or lower tier cost more, the lower tiers most of all, and plain "Category" listings sit in between. Seats in the away section and hospitality packages are listed separately. For Bayern, all four stands open at the same level, with the category listings far above.
Remember that the Nordtribüne also holds the away blocks, so a home supporter should check the block number before buying there. Sellers pick their own prices, which can be higher than face value, and the total appears before you pay.
Rhein Energie Stadion: stands, seating and getting there
The RheinEnergieStadion is in Müngersdorf, west of the city centre, at Aachener Straße 999 in the Sportpark Müngersdorf. The rebuilt stadium opened on 31 January 2004 and holds 50,000, with 41,825 seats and 8,175 standing places, or 46,195 under international rules, when standing is not used.
- Hans-Schäfer-Südkurve (South Stand), behind the south goal: blocks S1 to S6 below and S11 to S16 above, named after Hans Schäfer since August 2018.
- Nordtribüne (North Stand), behind the north goal: blocks N1 to N6 and N11 to N16, including the away blocks.
- Westtribüne (West Stand), along the west touchline: blocks W1 to W8 and W11 to W18.
- Osttribüne (East Stand), along the east touchline: blocks O1 to O8 and O11 to O18.
Tram line 1 stops at the stadium, at the stop called "RheinEnergieSTADION", with extra trams before and after matches; from mainline trains, change to line 1 at Köln Messe/Deutz or Köln Weiden West. Line 7 stops at Stüttgenhof, a short walk south, and the S12 and S19 S-Bahn lines serve Weiden West, Müngersdorf Technologiepark and Lövenich. The stadium operator says your match ticket is also valid on KVB buses and trams and across the surrounding VRS network. Visiting clubs report that bags and rucksacks are not allowed and that there is no bag storage, so travel light.
Cologne away tickets
Köln set aside an away-fan quota of ten percent of capacity, about 5,000 tickets, for each game. Those supporters are housed in the Nordtribüne: a visiting club's fan information, in 2023, gave standing block N6 and seated block N16, with the away entrances in the north-east of the stadium.
For Dortmund and Bayern, the visitors' quota therefore sits at the north end. Home supporters buying resale should skip listings marked as the away section and check block numbers in the Nordtribüne. For the rest of the division, see our Bundesliga tickets page.
Frequently asked questions
How easy is it to get FC Köln tickets?
Not easy. Season tickets are capped at 25,500, and the roughly 15,000 day tickets per game go first to members in a presale with a limit of two tickets each; a general sale is rare. Returned tickets appear on the official Ticketbörse at the day-ticket price plus 15%, often for members only. Resale listings start from £245.
How to buy tickets for FC Köln?
Join 1. FC Köln, because membership is needed for every presale. Each home game gets its own members-only presale date, announced on fc.de, and sales run through the FC ticket shop with a queue, two tickets per member at most. If you miss out, check the official Ticketbörse, where resold tickets carry a 15% service fee.
How much do FC Köln tickets cost?
At the club, you pay the day-ticket price set for each game, and the official Ticketbörse adds a 15% service fee to it. On the resale market, seats listed on Hellotickets start from £245 (checked 5 Nov 2026), with the Bayern Munich game priced well above Borussia Dortmund. Prices are the sellers' own, with the final figure shown at checkout.
Can I buy Cologne tickets without a membership?
Rarely from the club. Membership is needed for every presale, a general sale is rare, and tickets on the official Ticketbörse are often reserved for members too. Without membership, the alternative is resale: seats listed on Hellotickets start from £245, and the final price is shown before you pay.
Where do away fans sit at the RheinEnergieStadion?
Away supporters are in the Nordtribüne, the north stand. A visiting club's fan information gave standing block N6 and seated block N16, with the away entrances in the north-east of the stadium. Köln reserve an away quota of ten percent of capacity, about 5,000 tickets, so home fans should skip resale listings marked as the away section.
How do I get to the RheinEnergieStadion?
Take tram line 1, which stops at the stadium and runs extra trams on matchdays; from mainline trains, change at Köln Messe/Deutz or Köln Weiden West. Line 7 and the S12 and S19 S-Bahn lines also come close. Your match ticket is valid on KVB buses and trams and on the wider VRS network, and bags and rucksacks are not allowed.
