Wrexham v Derby County: date, kick-off and how to watch

Derby County's Championship visit to North Wales is set for Saturday 27 February 2027, kick-off 3pm, at the Racecourse Ground. As with all of Wrexham's home league games this season, tickets will be released only to Official Members through a ballot, and the club has not announced the Derby draw.

At Wrexham: not on sale yet at the official seller (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Hellotickets lists resale from £431 in the Stok Cold Brew Coffee Stand (checked 5 Nov 2026).

The timing is predictable even without a date: ballots this season have opened four to six weeks before kick-off, which places this one in the second half of January.

Saturday 27 February 2027 at 3pm, at the Racecourse Ground, Mold Road, Wrexham, according to the club's fixture feed. The ground is the oldest international stadium still in use, opened in 1864, and stands right next to Wrexham General station.

Whether the game is shown live in the UK depends on the broadcasters' Championship selections, made closer to the date; there is no channel for it in our data.

How to get Wrexham v Derby County tickets

Wrexham's home allocation is small match by match while the Kop is rebuilt, so every league game is balloted. The process for Derby will look like this.

Become a member. Official Membership 2026/27 comes as Digital Dragon (£25 adult), Red Dragon (£35) or Gold Dragon (£50). It is required for both the ballot and the Ticket Exchange.
Enter when the ballot opens. Recent ballots opened 29 to 39 days before the game; Portsmouth's ran from 20 October to 29 October for a 28 November match. For Derby, that means the second half of January. One entry per person.
Know the rules of the draw. Allocations are all-or-nothing, the draw is run on the closing day, and winners are charged automatically.
Second ballot. 100 further tickets are drawn among unsuccessful members who have not attended a game this season.
Ticket Exchange. Season ticket holders list seats they cannot use; the club says many are on sale until matchday. Holders get back 1/23rd of their season ticket value.

Prices are fixed whoever the visitors: adults from £28 in the University End, more in the Macron and Wrexham Lager stands, no booking fees. Hospitality is released match by match after the ballot.

Non-members can only buy on the resale market. Seats listed on Hellotickets are priced by their sellers and can be above face value; the final price is shown before you pay. All of Wrexham's home fixtures are on Wrexham tickets; a week later comes Wrexham v Cardiff City tickets on 6 March.

Where to sit at Wrexham Racecourse Ground

The resale listings for Derby are all in one area, "Stok Cold Brew Cofee Stand": the Tech End behind one goal, a home stand with Jonesy's Bar inside. The opposite end, the Kop, is a construction site this season and will reopen for 2027/28 with up to 7,750 seats.

The touchline stands are the Macron Stand, on Mold Road, with private boxes (the Mold Road reception leads to the executive boxes and the 1864 Suite), and the Wrexham Lager Stand, two tiers, which also contains the away section. Derby County's supporters enter through Gates 1-4 into its upper and lower tiers. Families with a child under two can only sit in the upper tier of that stand.

Frequently asked questions

Can you buy Wrexham tickets without being a member?

Not for home league games in 2026/27. Wrexham sell them only through ballots for Official Members, and the Ticket Exchange is members-only as well. Adult membership starts at £25 for Digital Dragon. Non-members can look at resale listings on Hellotickets.

How to get tickets for a Wrexham game?

Join as an Official Member, enter the ballot for the match once it opens, and wait for the draw on the closing day. If you miss out, the second ballot of 100 tickets and the members-only Ticket Exchange are the next club routes.

Is it difficult to get Wrexham tickets?

Yes. Only a small allocation is released for each home league game while the Kop is rebuilt, and demand from members exceeds it, which is why the club runs a ballot. Season ticket returns on the Ticket Exchange add some seats.

When can you buy Wrexham tickets?

Each home game has its own ballot, opening roughly 29 to 39 days before kick-off and closing on a set date, with the draw that day. For Wrexham v Derby County on 27 February, that points to the second half of January.

How much are Wrexham v Derby County tickets?

Club prices are the same for every league game: adults from £28 in the University End, more in the Macron and Wrexham Lager stands, without booking fees. On resale, seats start at £431 in the Stok Cold Brew Coffee Stand, checked 5 Nov 2026.
