Wrexham v Blackburn Rovers: date, kick-off and how to watch

Between Christmas and New Year, Wrexham host Blackburn Rovers at the Racecourse Ground: Tuesday 29 December 2026, kick-off 6pm, in the Championship. Like every Wrexham home league game this season, it will be sold by ballot to Official Members, and the club has not yet announced the ballot dates.

Status: not on sale yet at the official seller, checked 5 Nov 2026.

On Hellotickets, resale seats start at £126 in the Stok Cold Brew Coffee Stand (checked 5 Nov 2026).

With the Kop still being rebuilt, the ground is three-sided this season, which is why Wrexham release only a small allocation for each match.

The match is on Tuesday 29 December 2026 at 6pm, at the Racecourse Ground on Mold Road, Wrexham. The date and time come from the club's own fixture feed, so this is not a provisional slot.

An early-evening start in the holiday week suits supporters travelling in for the day, with Wrexham General station right next to the ground. UK broadcast selections for the Championship are confirmed by the broadcasters nearer the date; no channel is listed for this game in our data.

How to get Wrexham v Blackburn Rovers tickets

There is no general sale for Wrexham home league games in 2026/27. Instead, each match has its own members' ballot.

Step 1: membership

Only Official Members can enter. The 2026/27 tiers are Digital Dragon (£25 for an adult), Red Dragon (£35) and Gold Dragon (£50), and membership is also what gives access to the Ticket Exchange.

Step 2: the ballot

Blackburn's ballot has not opened. Recent ballots opened 29 to 39 days before the game (Portsmouth's opened on 20 October for 28 November), which for a 29 December match points to the second half of November. You get one entry per person, and allocations are all-or-nothing: you receive every ticket you requested or none. The draw runs on closing day and winners are charged. A second ballot of 100 tickets then goes to unsuccessful members who have not yet attended this season.

Step 3: the Ticket Exchange

Season ticket holders list seats they cannot use on the members-only Ticket Exchange, and the club says many are available until matchday. Prices are the same for every opponent, adults from £28 in the University End, with no booking fees. Match-by-match hospitality is released after the ballot ends.

If you are not a member, seats listed on Hellotickets are the alternative; sellers set their own prices, which can be well above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Every home date is on the Wrexham tickets hub.

Where to sit at Wrexham Racecourse Ground

Three stands are in use this season. The Wrexham Lager Stand, a two-tier side stand, holds the dressing rooms, club offices and hospitality, and also the away section: Blackburn's supporters enter through Gates 1-4 into its upper and lower tiers. Opposite, on the Mold Road side, the Macron Stand has private boxes and pitch-level wheelchair spaces for home fans. Behind one goal, the Tech End, home of Jonesy's Bar, is for home fans; Hellotickets lists it under its sponsored name as "Stok Cold Brew Cofee Stand". The Kop at the Crispin Lane End is a building site until the 2027/28 season.

On the resale table, "Shortside" listings are behind a goal and "Longside" listings run along a touchline, which here means the Macron or Wrexham Lager Stand. If you want to sit with home fans, check that a Longside or Wrexham Lager Stand listing is not in the away tiers.
