How to get Southampton v Charlton Athletic tickets
No sale dates exist for Charlton yet, but the club's sequence is predictable. Saints Members get an exclusive window first. Season ticket holders then have a window to buy up to two more tickets. The day after, the remaining seats go on general sale to all fans. For the Derby game in November, that ran from 11 August for members to 22 and 23 October for the next two steps, which gives an idea of the gaps involved.
Membership for 2026/27 runs to 30 June 2027 and costs £35 for an adult or £20 for a junior; it also gives priority for away and cup tickets. Adult Membership Plus, at £95, adds two free tickets for category A, B or C games.
Each fixture is placed in a band, A*, A, B or C, with six seating areas. Charlton's band has not been published. Adult prices start at £40 in A*, £30 in A and B, and £25 in C, excluding the Kids Zone, which needs a child in the booking.
If the game approaches a sell-out, the club's Ticket Exchange lets season ticket holders resell seats. Resale listings on Hellotickets are already up; sellers set the prices and the final price is shown before you pay. Where to sit at St Mary's Stadium
St Mary's was opened in 2001 as a full bowl, its four stands named after the districts they face. The Northam Stand, behind the north goal, is the home end, Saints fans only, with safe standing. The Chapel Stand is behind the south goal. Along the sides run the Itchen Stand, the main stand with reception and hospitality, and the Kingsland Stand.
Charlton supporters will be in the south-west corner, between the Chapel and Kingsland Stands, using Turnstile E and the away ticket office on the south side. Hellotickets' Shortside means behind a goal, Longside along a touchline and Central around halfway; Chapel Stand listings name their stand. The St Mary's Stadium seating plan shows the blocks.
