Southampton sell each home game in three steps: Saints Members get an exclusive first window, season ticket holders then buy up to two extra tickets, and the remaining seats go on general sale to all fans the next day. Every match sits in a price category, A*, A, B or C, and a Ticket Exchange is switched on only when a game is close to selling out.
13 upcoming Southampton home fixtures in the Championship are listed on this page.
Across them, resale listings on Hellotickets start from £48 (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Southampton's first fixture here: Southampton v Derby County on Saturday 21 November.
For Derby County on Saturday 21 November, the general sale has been open since 23 October.

How to get Southampton tickets
How to buy Southampton tickets (official route)
1. Saints Membership
Saints Membership 2026/27 gives an exclusive first window for home tickets and priority for away and cup games, and it is valid until 30 June 2027. Adult membership costs £35 and junior £20. Adult Membership Plus, at £95, includes two free tickets for category A, B and C games, and a Junior Plus version costs £50. Our St Mary's Stadium seating plan helps you choose an area before the window opens.
2. Season ticket holders' extras
After the members' window, season ticket holders get a window of their own to buy up to two additional tickets for the match.
3. General sale the next day
Whatever is left goes on general sale to all fans on the following day. For Derby County, members had their window from 11 August, season ticket holders bought on 22 October and the general sale has been open since 23 October. Middlesbrough has gone a different way: since 30 October its general sale has been limited to supporters who bought a men's first-team match between 2020/21 and 2025/26 and at least one in 2026/27, with a wider window for buyers from those earlier seasons on 6 November. The other released games give all fans their turn on 13 November for Burnley, 20 November for Blackburn Rovers, 27 November for West Ham and 4 December for Cardiff City.
Fixtures come in batches
Only games up to 1 January 2027 have ticket pages so far. Every listed home game after that, from West Bromwich Albion in January to Sheffield United in May, shows only hospitality for now, and the members' window will again come first once each one is released.
Price categories
Each match is placed in category A*, A, B or C, with six seating areas priced within it. Adult prices start at £40 for A*, £30 for A and B, and £25 for C, outside the Kids Zone, which can only be booked with a child. West Ham is the only A* game so far; Middlesbrough, Blackburn and Cardiff are A, Derby is B and Burnley is C, and the later fixtures are not yet categorised.
The Ticket Exchange
When a game is close to selling out, the club switches on its Ticket Exchange, where season ticket holders list seats they cannot use; it opened for the home game against Bolton, for example. Sellers can put their credit towards season tickets, and for buyers it is the official route once the general sale has gone.
Southampton resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand
Resale prices for Southampton are fairly flat across the season. Southampton v Derby County tickets, the Burnley match and Cardiff start lowest, while Middlesbrough, Blackburn and most of the games after New Year, Watford and Norwich among them, start at one shared level. Sheffield United on 1 May is a step higher, and West Ham, Wrexham and Wolves had no resale listings in late October.
Within a match, listings usually open behind a goal, in the Chapel Stand or under Hellotickets' "Shortside Tier" label. "Longside Tier" seats along the touchline come next, and "Longside Tier Central", near halfway, sits at the top of most games. A few games also show Saints Bar listings, and hospitality packages are listed apart.
Sellers set their own prices, which can be well above Southampton's adult prices from £25, and the final price is shown before you pay. While the general sale or the Ticket Exchange is open, buying from the club is usually the better-value route.
St Mary's Stadium: stands, seating and getting there
St Mary's Stadium, on Britannia Road with its main stand facing the River Itchen, opened in 2001 and seats 32,384 in a complete bowl of four stands of equal height.
- Northam Stand, behind the north goal: home fans only, with safe standing for over 7,000 and the loudest support in the ground.
- Chapel Stand, behind the south goal. The Kids Zone, a family-themed concourse, sits between the Chapel and Itchen Stands.
- Itchen Stand, the main stand on the east touchline, with the hospitality suites and executive boxes.
- Kingsland Stand, on the west touchline, with the Gasworks fan bar outside.
Standing is only for the Northam Stand and the away end, so home fans in the Chapel and Kingsland areas stay seated. Southampton Central is about a 20-minute walk, and matchday shuttle buses run from the station's south side and from Town Quay, by the Red Jet and Red Funnel terminals. On men's weekend games, park and ride PR2 runs from the Adanac Health & Innovation Centre from 3 hours before kick-off until 2 hours after; there is no general parking at the ground. St Mary's is cashless, every bag is searched, the club asks for nothing bigger than A4, and tickets sit in the Saints Tickets App.
Southampton away tickets
Since 2024/25, visiting supporters have been housed in the south-west corner between the Chapel and Kingsland Stands, which has safe standing, rather than in the Northam Stand. They enter through Turnstile E on the south side, where the away ticket office is, and are advised to approach via Chapel Road and Melbourne Street; away coaches park on Melbourne Street.
For Saints fans heading the other way, membership is what gives priority for away and cup games.
Frequently asked questions
How much are Southampton tickets?
Adult prices at the club start at £40 for category A* games, £30 for A and B and £25 for C, outside the Kids Zone, which needs a child. West Ham is A*; Middlesbrough, Blackburn and Cardiff are A; Derby is B and Burnley C. On the resale market, listings across the home fixtures start from £48 (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Can I buy Southampton tickets without a membership?
Yes, for most games. After the Saints Members' window and one for season ticket holders, the remaining seats go on general sale to all fans the next day. Derby has been open to everyone since 23 October, and Burnley follows on 13 November, Blackburn on 20 November, West Ham on 27 November and Cardiff on 4 December. Middlesbrough is the exception: since 30 October it has been limited to past buyers, with a wider window on 6 November. Adult membership costs £35 and gets you the first window.
Is it hard to get Southampton tickets?
Usually not. Most games reach a general sale open to all fans, and when one gets close to selling out the club switches on its Ticket Exchange for season ticket holders' seats, as it did for Bolton. The catch is timing: games after 1 January have no ticket pages yet, and members always buy first.
Where do away fans sit at St Mary's Stadium?
In the south-west corner between the Chapel and Kingsland Stands, which has housed visiting supporters since 2024/25 and has safe standing. Away fans enter through Turnstile E on the south side, where the away ticket office is, and are advised to approach via Chapel Road and Melbourne Street. The Northam Stand is for home fans only.
When do Southampton tickets go on sale?
In batches. Games up to 1 January 2027 already have ticket pages, while later ones show only hospitality so far. For each match, Saints Members buy first, season ticket holders follow with up to two extra tickets, and the general sale opens to all fans the next day; for Derby County that day was 23 October.
