Southampton v Middlesbrough: date, kick-off and how to watch

Southampton v Middlesbrough is a Championship fixture at St Mary's Stadium on Friday 27 November 2026, kick-off 8pm. The match is on sale at the official seller, though not yet to everyone: after the Saints Members' window and season ticket holders' extra tickets, the general sale that began on Friday 30 October is limited to supporters who bought a men's first-team match between 2020/21 and 2025/26 and at least one in 2026/27. A second window, for buyers from those earlier seasons, opens on Friday 6 November, and no all-fans date has been given. It is a Category A game, with adult seats from £30 in the corner areas, outside the Kids Zone.

Resale seats listed on Hellotickets start at £69 in the Shortside Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Without that purchase history there is no club route yet, which leaves resale.

How to get Southampton v Middlesbrough tickets

Southampton usually release each home game in three steps, but strong demand from members has changed the last one for Middlesbrough:

  1. Saints Members' window (from Tuesday 11 August, now closed). Membership for 2026/27 costs £35 for adults and £20 for juniors and runs to 30 June 2027. Adult Membership Plus, at £95, includes two free tickets for category A, B and C games; Junior Plus is £50.
  2. Season ticket holders (from Thursday 29 October, now closed). They could buy up to two additional tickets.
  3. General sale, in two windows. From Friday 30 October, for supporters who bought a men's first-team match between 2020/21 and 2025/26 and at least one in 2026/27. From Friday 6 November, for anyone who bought a men's first-team match between 2020/21 and 2025/26. The club has given no date for all fans.

Middlesbrough is in Category A, where adult prices start at £30 outside the Kids Zone, an area that needs a child in the booking. When a match is close to selling out, the club switches on its Ticket Exchange so season ticket holders can resell their seats.

Resale on Hellotickets suits fans without that purchase history, or anyone after a particular stand. Sellers set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay; if you qualify for one of the windows, the club is usually the cheaper route. Our Southampton tickets page covers the other home games.

Where to sit at St Mary's Stadium

St Mary's is a complete bowl, its four stands built to the same height. The Northam Stand behind the north goal is for home fans only, with safe standing for over 7,000, and is where the most vocal supporters gather. The Chapel Stand faces it behind the south goal, the Itchen Stand runs along the east touchline as the main stand with the hospitality suites, and the Kingsland Stand is opposite on the west side.

Middlesbrough's supporters go in the away end in the Chapel/Kingsland corner, in the south-west, where visitors have been since 2024/25, entering at Turnstile E. The Kids Zone, a family-themed concourse, sits between the Chapel and Itchen Stands. On Hellotickets, "Shortside Tier" listings are behind a goal and "Longside Tier" listings along a touchline. The St Mary's Stadium seating plan shows each block.
