The date, Saturday 27 February 2027, is provisional, and the kick-off time at St. James' Park in Newcastle is still to be announced. The slot will be confirmed once the broadcasters choose their live games for that weekend.

A 3pm Saturday kick-off would put the match under the blackout, with no live UK broadcast. A move to another slot would mean it has been picked for television, and the broadcasters will announce where to watch.

How to get Newcastle v Brentford tickets

Newcastle keep home tickets for members of The Mags, Mags+ and Junior Mags, so a non-member cannot buy from the club. For Brentford, here is what to watch for:

  • The announcement. On-sale dates come once the broadcast picks for the match are confirmed.
  • The ballot. A 24-hour window, Monday midday to Tuesday midday, in which every membership tier has the same chance.
  • The seat pick. Successful lead bookers have 48 hours to choose seats in their area and pay.
  • The second wave. Season ticket holders' ticket forwarding and resale, then the online Mags Member Sale with a randomised queue for members without a ticket.
  • The Exchange. After a sell-out, seats that season ticket holders cannot use are resold to members, first come, first served, until three hours before kick-off.

Outside membership, resale is the way in. Sellers listing seats on Hellotickets choose their own prices, which can top face value, and the final price is displayed before you pay. To apply for future games, see Newcastle Membership.

Where to sit at St. James' Park

Standing is part of the picture at St. James' Park. The singing section has moved to the Strawberry Corner, a safe-standing area where the Gallowgate Stand, the traditional home end behind the south goal, meets the East Stand, and the club added new safe-standing areas on Level 7 over the summer. The Milburn Stand along the west touchline is the main stand, with the Platinum Club, Bar 1892 and executive boxes; its Level 7 holds the Family Area. Brentford's fans will be at the far end from the Gallowgate, high up on Level 7 of the Leazes Stand (sections L7F-L7M).

Hellotickets zones translate simply: Shortside is behind a goal, Longside along a touchline, Central near halfway, and Upper or Lower is the tier. The Gallowgate Stand zone is in the home end. Check any Shortside upper seat on the St. James' Park seating plan so you do not end up beside the away section.
