Atletico Madrid v Athletic Club Bilbao: date, kick-off and how to watch

Athletic Club Bilbao visit the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in one of the last rounds of the La Liga season, provisionally on Sunday 23 May 2027. Atlético's own calendar still says "Saturday or Sunday" for that weekend, and kick-off is TBC.

At the club, the game is not on sale yet at the official seller: the fixture page offers only an "Avísame" alert.

Resale seats listed on Hellotickets start at £89 in the Category 4 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Atlético sells to the general public after a short members' window, so a club ticket is realistic once the match is released.

The match is set for the weekend of Sunday 23 May 2027 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in north-east Madrid. Until LaLiga fixes the slot, Atlético lists it only as "Saturday or Sunday", so the day itself is provisional and the kick-off TBC.

When LaLiga publishes the time, it also confirms which broadcaster has the match; we do not name a channel before that. Madrid is one hour ahead of the UK.

How to get Atletico Madrid v Athletic Club Bilbao tickets

Atlético sell every home game online at atleticodemadrid.com, and they do it in two steps.

Members first. Socios get a priority window; the membership page promises 48-hour pre-sales. An adult Socio card (age 25 and over) costs €78 for 2027, and the club says the rest of 2026 is free for new members.
General public two days later. For the January games against Racing and Real Sociedad, for instance, members could buy from 22 September and everyone else from 24 September.

This match is far from that point. Its page shows "Sé el primero en comprar" (be the first to buy) and the "Avísame" button, which emails you when tickets are released. VIP seats are sold separately through Neptuno-Atlético de Madrid Premium.

One point to know: the club's site shows no sold-out labels, and the ticket shop itself sits behind a security check, so availability can only be seen inside the shop once the sale is live.

Athletic supporters should ask their own club about tickets for the trip; Atlético does not publish where visiting fans sit.

Resale is open already. Seats listed on Hellotickets come from sellers who set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. See the whole home list on Atletico Madrid tickets, or other fixtures on La Liga tickets.

Where to sit at Riyadh Air Metropolitano

The Metropolitano, opened in 2017 and holding 70,813, has four sides. The Lateral Oeste runs along the west touchline, where VIP lounges are reached from the middle tier; the Lateral Este faces it. The Fondo Norte and Fondo Sur are behind the goals. Each has a grada baja (lower tier), grada media (middle) and grada alta (upper), and the roof covers about 96% of spectators.

Hellotickets uses those names directly: Lateral Grada Alta and Baja are the upper and lower side tiers, Fondo Grada Alta and Baja the ends. Category 1 to 4, Silver and Gold are price bands, Palcos are boxes, and Bench Experience is a premium product listed by name.
