At a glance

- For noise, sit in the Holmesdale Road Stand. For a side-on view, pick the Main Stand or Arthur Wait. For families, use the Whitehorse Lane Stand.
- Away fans sit in Blocks R, S and T of the Arthur Wait Stand, next to the Whitehorse Lane end. Rows 1 to 32 there have rail seats.
- In Zone 5, a single adult ticket starts at £65 for Category A, £58 for Category B and £47 for Category C.
- Turnstiles open two hours before kick-off. There is no parking at the stadium, and nearby roads close three hours before kick-off.

- Holmesdale Road Stand: Home end behind the goal. Lower blocks A to J, upper blocks K to S.

Simple plan, not to scale.
On the Selhurst Park seating plan, four stands surround the pitch and hold 25,194 people. The noisy home end is the Holmesdale Road Stand, behind one goal. The Main Stand and Arthur Wait Stand run along the touchlines, families head for the Whitehorse Lane Stand, and away fans sit in Blocks R, S and T.
Home league tickets go to members and season ticket holders, and the Crystal Palace tickets page shows how each game is being sold.
How does the Selhurst Park seating plan work?
You find your place on the Selhurst Park seating plan in three steps: the stand, the block, then the row and seat number. Selhurst Park is the home of Crystal Palace, a Premier League club, in Selhurst near Croydon in south London. The address is Whitehorse Lane, SE25 6PU, and the Premier League Handbook for 2026/27 gives a capacity of 25,194.
A stand is a whole side of the stadium. A tier is one level of seats, and a block is a lettered or numbered section. Touchlines are the two long edges of the pitch.
| Stand | Where it is | Blocks | Who sits there | Price area |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Holmesdale Road Stand | Behind the goal at the Holmesdale Road end | Lower tier A to J, upper tier K to S | Home fans. The traditional home end | Zone 5 below, Zone 3 above, with a strip of Zone 2 |
| Arthur Wait Stand | Along the Park Road touchline | R to Z | Home fans in U to Z, away fans in R, S and T | Zone 4 |
| Main Stand | Along the other touchline | A to J, with the directors’ box in the middle | Home fans, premium seats and family seats | Zone 1 in E and F, Zone 2 in B, C, D, G and H |
| Whitehorse Lane Stand | Behind the other goal | 1 to 4, with executive boxes above | Families, plus some Zone 5 seats | Family and Zone 5 |
The Arthur Wait is the largest stand, with about 9,500 seats, and it opened in 1969. The Holmesdale Road Stand is the newest, built in 1994-95. The Main Stand dates from 1924, and the Whitehorse Lane Stand is the smallest, with 2,219 seats.
How do you read the block letters at Selhurst Park?
Selhurst Park block letters repeat, so always read the stand name with the letter. Blocks A to J appear in both the Main Stand and the lower Holmesdale Road Stand. Blocks R and S appear in both the Arthur Wait Stand and the upper Holmesdale Road Stand.
This is how the blocks run on the club’s plan:
- Arthur Wait Stand: R sits next to the Whitehorse Lane end, and Z next to the Holmesdale Road Stand.
- Holmesdale Road Stand: A and K are on the Arthur Wait side, and J and S on the Main Stand side.
- Main Stand: A is next to the Whitehorse Lane Stand, and J next to the Holmesdale Road Stand.
- Whitehorse Lane Stand: 1 is next to the Main Stand, and 4 next to the Arthur Wait Stand.
Is there a Selhurst Park seating plan with seat numbers?
There is no public Selhurst Park seating plan with every seat number, because the club’s plan stops at block level. Your row and seat number are on your ticket.
For the view, use the Virtual Venue tool from Ticketmaster, which the club links to on its site. It gives a 360-degree view across all four stands, and every view is from a seated position.
The plan does not show which rows are under cover, so ask the Box Office if that matters to you.
How much does each part of Selhurst Park cost?
A single adult Premier League ticket at Selhurst Park costs from £47 in 2026/27, and your zone sets the price. A zone is one of the club’s price areas. The opponent matters too, because each game has a category, or price band.
Zone 5 is the lowest-priced area the club lists for single games. Its adult prices start at £65 for Category A, £58 for Category B and £47 for Category C. Europa League home games have cost adults £40 so far.
You see prices for the other zones when you buy. The club’s season ticket table shows how the zones compare:
| Zone | Where on the plan | Adult season ticket, Phase 1 | Junior season ticket, Phase 1 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zone 1 | Main Stand blocks E and F | £870 | £405 |
| Zone 2 | Main Stand B, C, D, G and H, and a strip of upper Holmesdale | £775 | £400 |
| Zone 3 | Upper Holmesdale, blocks K to S | £695 | £350 |
| Zone 4 | Arthur Wait U to Z, and parts of Main Stand A and J | £670 | £335 |
| Zone 5 | Lower Holmesdale A to J, and part of Whitehorse Lane | £600 | £310 |
| Family | Whitehorse Lane 1 to 4, and Main Stand A and J | £485 | £220 |
Phase 1 was the first stage of the season ticket sale. A season ticket covers all 19 home league games, and the Crystal Palace season ticket guide has the later prices.
Where is the best place to sit at Selhurst Park?
The best place to sit at Selhurst Park is the Holmesdale Road Stand for noise and the centre of the Main Stand for the view. Zone 5 has the lowest adult price.
- Best for atmosphere: the Holmesdale Road Stand. The lower tier puts you right behind the goal, and the upper tier gives a higher view of the whole pitch from the same end.
- Best for the view: Main Stand blocks E and F, which sit beside the directors’ box. They are the dearest seats on the plan.
- A side-on view for less: Arthur Wait blocks U to Z, in Zone 4. Pick blocks towards the Holmesdale Road end to stay away from the visiting fans.
- Best for value: Zone 5, in the lower Holmesdale Road Stand, with the single-game prices above.
- Best with children: the Whitehorse Lane Stand, or Main Stand blocks A and J.
- For hospitality: this means a ticket with food and drink. The executive boxes are above the Whitehorse Lane Stand, and the premium seats are in the Main Stand.
- First visit? A side stand lets you see the whole pitch and the home end at the same time.
Which seats at Selhurst Park have a restricted view?
Selhurst Park has no public list of restricted-view seats, so check the view before you buy. A restricted view means something blocks part of the pitch.
The one official example is in the away section. Liverpool’s 2026/27 away information says restricted-view tickets there are £2 off for adults and £1 off for concessions, the lower prices for some age groups.
How do you buy a seat at Selhurst Park?
You buy a seat at Selhurst Park through the club’s ticket site, once your stage of the sale opens. You need a membership or season ticket for a Premier League home game. Follow these steps:
- Join. Adult membership is £25 and Gold is £60. The Crystal Palace membership guide compares them.
- Note your date. Gold members buy first, and all other members follow on the Thursday.
- Choose a zone. Decide what matters most: noise, view or price.
- Check the view in the Virtual Venue tool.
- Log in early on eticketing.co.uk/cpfc when your stage opens. Each member buys one ticket.
- Add your pass. Tickets are NFC passes, digital tickets that you download to your smartphone.
Which blocks are free depends on how late in the sale you buy, so a later stage means less choice.
Where do away fans sit at Selhurst Park?
Away fans at Selhurst Park sit in Blocks R, S and T of the Arthur Wait Stand, in the corner next to the Whitehorse Lane end. Visiting clubs sell these tickets to their own fans, so you buy from your own club.
Liverpool’s visit on Sunday 8 November shows how the section works:
- Seats: Liverpool has an allocation of 2,806 tickets, including 29 wheelchair bays.
- Rail seats: rows 1 to 32 of Blocks R, S and T have rail seats, which have a barrier in front. Seats 69 to 75 in Block T are not included.
- Prices: £30 for adults, £23 for over-65s and ages 18 to 21, and £19 for under-18s.
- Tickets: a one-off NFC pass on your phone, emailed to you a few days before the game.
The visiting Box Office is on the corner of Park Road and Holmesdale Road, by Entrance 4. It opens about two hours before kick-off, and you need ID there.
Private hire cars drop off at the corner of Park Road and Whitehorse Lane. The Away Fanzone, a food and drink area for visitors, opens two hours before kick-off. Visiting fans found in home sections are removed by security, so stay with your club’s allocation.
Where should families sit at Selhurst Park?
Families at Selhurst Park should sit in the Whitehorse Lane Stand or in blocks A and J of the Main Stand, the areas the club sets aside for family tickets. These are the lowest-priced seats on the season ticket table.
- Family season tickets: a group needs a full-paying adult and an under-18, and there can be no more than two adults for each child.
- Under-10s: they only have a family price, so they sit in those family areas.
- Age limits: under-2s need written permission from the club, and children over 14 can go alone.
- Lost children: pick up a wristband for your phone number at the information point by Entrance 9.
- Fanzone: the guide for visitors puts this area by Entrance 10. It opens three hours before kick-off, with food and activities, for anyone with a valid ticket.
What accessible seating does Selhurst Park have?
Selhurst Park has 128 wheelchair spaces, most on raised platforms and 14 at pitch level, plus 289 easy access seats. Home and visiting fans can sit with friends, family or a personal assistant.
To book, register as a disabled supporter with the club first. You then buy online or through the Box Office on 0333 360 1861. Disabled supporters pay the price for their age and area, and a personal assistant comes in free.
- Help on the day: Accessibility Hosts wear maroon tabards, and the Fan Support Team wears red coats.
- Changing Places: this full-size changing room is close to the accessible platform in the lower Holmesdale Road Stand. The Main Stand has a smaller changing area.
- Quiet rooms: the Sensory Room under the Whitehorse Lane Stand is fully accessible. The larger Inclusion Room, in the Holmesdale Road Stand, is not suitable for wheelchair users.
- Audio commentary: this is available across the ground for blind and partially sighted fans. Book it through dlo@cpfc.co.uk.
- Parking: 16 blue badge bays sit in the Sainsbury’s car park next to the stadium, first come, first served.
- Trains: Selhurst and Thornton Heath have step-free access to all platforms. Norwood Junction has it for Platform 1 only.

How is the Main Stand changing at Selhurst Park?
The Selhurst Park Main Stand is being rebuilt around the existing stand, and the club says the main seating area stays in place during the work. The club expects the new stand to hold 13,500 fans and lift the capacity above 34,000, with completion targeted for early 2029.
Some bars, lounges and facilities behind the stand have moved to temporary sites. So read your matchday information before you go if your seat is in the Main Stand.
New season ticket holders cannot get a seat in this stand, because it is full for season tickets.
How do you get to Selhurst Park?
The best way to get to Selhurst Park is by train, because the ground has three stations within a 19-minute walk and no parking of its own. Kick-off times here are UK time.
| Station | Trains | Distance and walk |
|---|---|---|
| Norwood Junction | Southern, London Overground and fast trains from London Bridge | 0.6 miles, 13 minutes |
| Selhurst | Southern, direct from London Victoria | 0.7 miles, 15 minutes |
| Thornton Heath | Southern | 0.8 miles, 19 minutes |
Ignore Crystal Palace station, despite the name. It is two miles from the ground, and the club tells fans not to use it.
How long does it take from central London?
The club’s guide gives these door-to-ground times, which help if you are coming from elsewhere in the UK:
- London Bridge: 30 minutes, by train to Norwood Junction.
- London Victoria: 40 minutes, by train to Selhurst.
- London Waterloo: 45 minutes, changing at Clapham Junction for Selhurst.
- King’s Cross and Euston: 50 minutes, by Northern line to London Bridge, then train to Norwood Junction.
- Paddington: 60 minutes, by Circle line to Victoria, then train to Selhurst.
Can you drive or cycle to Selhurst Park?
Driving to Selhurst Park is hard work, because there is no stadium parking and strict rules on nearby streets. Roads around the ground close from three hours before kick-off until about an hour after the final whistle.
Cameras on Holmesdale Road and Elm Park Road enforce a local traffic scheme, and Croydon Council fines cars without a permit £100. The club suggests driveway rental sites such as JustPark.
Cycling is easier. You can store a bike free at the Information Centre by Entrance 9, which opens three hours before kick-off. E-bikes and e-scooters are not allowed on the stadium site.
Buses 75 and 157 stop near Selhurst station and on Park Road.
What should you know on matchday at Selhurst Park?
On matchday at Selhurst Park, turnstiles open two hours before kick-off, and the club asks you to arrive at least 45 minutes before. For a 3pm game, that means turnstiles at 1pm and the teams warming up at about 2.20pm.
- Entrances: the club’s map numbers them 1 to 14. Entrances 1, 2, 3 and 14 are on the Holmesdale Road side, 4 to 7 on Park Road, and 8 to 13 behind the Main Stand.
- Ticket help: home ticket collection is at Entrance 9, and the Information Centre beside it is a good meeting point.
- Box Office: it is inside the main Club Shop on Whitehorse Lane, next to Sainsbury’s. On matchdays it opens at 9am and stops serving two hours before kick-off.
- Bags: yours must fit under your seat, and it will be searched. Larger items can stay at the Information Centre at no charge, from three hours before kick-off until 30 minutes after the final whistle.
- Not allowed: buggies, large bags, long umbrellas, motorbike helmets, cans, glass and alcohol.
- Drinks: the club’s web guide allows soft drinks under one litre in a sealed plastic bottle, but its visitors’ guide bans bottles over 500ml. Stick to 500ml.
- Paying: the ground is cashless, with cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Flags: email the club at least seven days before the game. Flags must be fireproofed.
What mistakes should you avoid at Selhurst Park?
The main Selhurst Park mistakes are mixing up repeated block letters, using the wrong station and driving close to the ground.
- Reading a block letter alone. Block R is in the away section of the Arthur Wait Stand, but also in the upper Holmesdale Road Stand.
- Getting off at Crystal Palace station. You will still have two miles to go.
- Driving to the ground. Road closures start three hours before kick-off.
- Sitting too close to the away fans. Arthur Wait block U is right beside them, so pick a block further along if you want a calm view.
- Leaving problems until a Sunday. The Box Office is closed on Sundays, and Hull City, Manchester United and Arsenal are all Sunday games.
