Simple plan, not to scale.

The Coventry Building Society Arena seating plan has four stands around the pitch and holds 32,609 people. For noise, go to Singers’ Corner in the East Stand, where home safe standing fills blocks 12 to 16. The two-tier West Stand gives a side-on view, families use the North Stand, and away fans use the South Stand.

Football is on the Coventry tickets page, and concerts and shows are on the Coventry Building Society Arena tickets page.

How does the Coventry Building Society Arena seating plan work?

The Coventry Building Society Arena seating plan covers a four-sided football bowl with three price zones. The stadium, often shortened to the CBS Arena and called the Ricoh Arena until 2021, is the home of Coventry City, a Premier League club. It is in north Coventry, close to junction 3 of the M6.

The bowl holds 32,609 people, according to the Premier League Handbook 2026/27. Blocks are the numbered sections you see on tickets. Prices follow zones, not stands, and the zones are called Standard, Family and Premium.

Stand Position Fans there Good to know
West Stand Along one touchline, the main stand Home fans and hospitality The only two-tier stand, with boxes above the lower tier and hotel rooms overlooking the pitch
East Stand Along the other touchline Home fans Singers’ Corner, where it meets the South Stand, and safe standing in blocks 12 to 16
North Stand Behind the north goal Families and home fans The family area, at the opposite end from the away fans
South Stand Behind the south goal Away fans Often blocks 6 to 9, with the big screen

Does the CBS Arena seating plan show rows and seat numbers?

The CBS Arena’s fan pages give block numbers for some areas, not a full plan with rows and seats. Blocks 6 to 9 are for away fans, 12 to 16 are home safe standing, and 19, 20 and 21 are the Premium Zone. Your digital ticket shows your exact row and seat. For a look at the view before you buy, try A View From My Seat, which collects fans’ photos.

Where is the best place to sit at the Coventry Building Society Arena?

Coventry Building Society Arena fans looking for noise should pick Singers’ Corner, and those who want a close, side-on view should pick the lower West Stand.

  • Best for atmosphere: Singers’ Corner, in the East Stand next to the away end. It is the centre of the home support.
  • Best for the view: the lower West Stand, close to the pitch. The East Stand gives the mirror view, with more noise around you.
  • Best for comfort: the Premium Zone, blocks 19, 20 and 21, or the boxes and hospitality in the West Stand.
  • Best for value: a Category C game in the Standard Zone, at £35 for an adult.
  • First visit? Choose a seat along a touchline, where you can see the whole pitch without standing around you.

Where is safe standing at the CBS Arena?

Safe standing at the CBS Arena is in blocks 12 to 16 of the East Stand for home fans, rows AA to XX. Away fans have blocks 6 and 7 of the South Stand, in the same rows. Each fan there has their own ticketed space, and barriers separate the rows.

The rest of the ground is all-seater. The club reminds fans that standing for long periods in seated areas is not allowed, because it blocks other people’s view.

How much are tickets in each CBS Arena zone?

Coventry City tickets at the CBS Arena cost £55, £50 or £35 for an adult in the Standard or Family Zone. Each game has a category, a price band set by the club. Every home league game is Category A, B or C:

Ticket Category A Category B Category C
Adult, Standard or Family Zone £55 £50 £35
Senior or ages 18 to 21 £50 £45 £30
Under 18 £30 £25 £20
Under 14 junior member £25 £20 £15
Adult, Premium Zone £70 £65 £50

Newcastle was Category A, Hull City and Brighton were Category B, and Fulham and Sunderland were Category C. The club’s page gives no category yet for the next games.

Who can buy a seat at the CBS Arena, and when?

You buy a seat at the CBS Arena from Coventry City, game by game, and Sky Blues members go first. Sky Blues is the club’s paid membership. Follow these steps:

  1. Join Sky Blues. It costs £45 for an adult, £35 for a teen, £30 for a junior and £35 for an international member.
  2. Watch for the sale date. This season, the members’ window has opened 16 to 23 days before kick-off.
  3. Buy your ticket at eticketing.co.uk/CCFC, at the Ticket Office from Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm, or on 024 7699 1987, option 1. Each member buys one ticket, or up to ten by linking other members.
  4. No membership? Fans who have bought any ticket since 2016/17 buy next.
  5. Sold out? On the Ticket Exchange, season ticket holders resell games they will miss. It opens once a game is officially sold out, for fans with a purchase history.

The Coventry season ticket guide covers memberships and regular seats.

Where do away fans sit at the CBS Arena?

Away fans at the CBS Arena sit in the South Stand, often in blocks 6 to 9, with safe standing in blocks 6 and 7. The section is about 3,000 seats on the West Stand side. Other parts of the stand can be closed, or opened to home fans when fewer visitors travel.

  • Getting in: turnstiles are ticket-only and open 90 minutes before kick-off. You cannot come back in if you leave early.
  • Ticket help: ask your own club before matchday. On the day, the Ticket Office is near the South entrance.
  • Parking: Car Park C is the closest paid parking to the South Stand.
  • Leaving: you leave across Car Park B, then turn left at the exit gate for the shopping park and station.
  • Wheelchair users: the viewing platform is at the front of Block 8, reached through Gate 25.

Where should families sit at the CBS Arena?

Families at the CBS Arena should sit in the North Stand, which has the family area, at the opposite end from the away fans. Family Zone seats cost the same as the Standard Zone.

  • Children’s prices: under-18s pay £30, £25 or £20. Under-14 junior members pay £25, £20 or £15.
  • Before the game: a separate pre-match Family Zone, outside the turnstiles, has a tuck shop.
  • Buggies: baby buggies and prams are banned, so plan for that.
  • Snacks: food is banned, but stewards use discretion for single items such as sweets or crisps for young fans. Medical food needs are handled discreetly.

What accessible seating does the CBS Arena have?

The CBS Arena has up to 86 wheelchair positions in the stadium bowl, across all four stands, each with a fixed chair next to it. Step-free access is through the concourse entrances, and accessible seats are as close to those entry points as possible.

  • Prices: you pay the standard price for your age.
  • Personal assistants: an assistant’s ticket is free if you receive the higher rate of DLA or PIP. The arena does not accept Blue Badges as proof.
  • Audio commentary: receivers are brought to your seat, subject to availability. Email accessibility@ccfc.co.uk to ask.
  • Parking: Blue Badge holders should email cbsarena@apcoa.com early, because spaces go first come, first served.
  • Concerts: email ticketoffice@CBSarena.co.uk, because wheelchair spaces at indoor shows depend on the event.

What is the Coventry Building Society Arena seating plan for concerts?

The Coventry Building Society Arena seating plan for concerts depends on the show, so trust the plan your ticket seller shows, not the football one. First check which venue your ticket is for, because the site has the stadium bowl and a separate indoor arena that holds 8,000.

Take That’s The Circus Live tour played the stadium bowl on Thursday 4, Friday 5 and Saturday 6 June 2026, so those plans no longer apply. The arena’s advice for those nights shows what to expect at a big show. You enter only through the gate on your ticket, and bags must be A4 or smaller.

As of 31 October 2026, the next listed show is Jack Whitehall on Wednesday 27 January 2027 at 8pm, on sale at Ticketmaster UK. The Enemy UK follows on Saturday 20 March 2027 at 6pm.

Late finish? The arena lists the last train from Coventry station to London Euston at 11.31pm, or 10.48pm on a Saturday. To Birmingham New Street it is 1.19am, or 11.30pm on a Saturday. Check before you travel.

How do you get to the CBS Arena, and where can you park?

The club’s shuttle bus from Coventry station is the handiest route to the CBS Arena, because Coventry Arena station next to the stadium has one train an hour each way. Drivers should use the postcode CV6 6AQ. All kick-off times are UK time.

How Where from Worth knowing
Shuttle bus Bus Interchange at Coventry station £5 return by contactless. For a 3pm game it ran from midday to 2.30pm, and back from 5pm to 6.30pm
Train Coventry Arena station, about five minutes’ walk One train an hour each way, with double carriages on matchdays
Local bus Services 3, 15 and 20, 20A and 20B Stops at the retail park opposite, about ten minutes’ walk
Taxi Coventry station About 10 to 15 minutes

Car Park C is across the A444, and a bridge or an underpass takes you to the ground. The A444 closes after games: it shut at 4.35pm for the Fulham game. Vehicles in Car Park C can leave only towards the city centre during the closure. For concerts, book on-site parking in advance at cbsarenaparking.co.uk.

What is the bag policy at the CBS Arena on matchday?

The CBS Arena bag policy is simple: nothing bigger than A4. Download your digital ticket before you arrive. Turnstiles open 90 minutes before kick-off, which is 1.30pm for a 3pm game.

  • Your ticket: it comes by email for Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Have the wallet open when you reach the turnstile.
  • Banned items: food and drink, bottles and cans, long umbrellas, tablets, cameras, selfie sticks, large bags and flags over 2m by 1m.
  • Searches: your bag will be searched, and staff may use a wand, so allow extra time.
  • Before kick-off: the Fan Village in the Exhibition Hall opens at midday through Gate 27, and the East Stand Fan Village opens at 12.30pm.
  • Paying: kiosks are cashless, and the programme costs £4.
  • Help: Supporter Liaison Officers wear blue bibs.

What trips people up when booking at the CBS Arena?

The most common CBS Arena mistake is mixing up the stadium bowl and the indoor arena, because a concert can be in either one.

  • Booking a seated block to stand. If you want to stand, book blocks 12 to 16.
  • Bringing a buggy. Prams are on the banned list.
  • Counting on the Coventry Arena train. With one train an hour, the shuttle bus is usually simpler.
  • Expecting a quick drive home. Allow for the A444 closure after the game.

Yes, in the North Stand, at the opposite end to the away fans, and seats there are priced as the Family Zone. Before kick-off a Family Zone with a tuck shop runs outside the turnstiles. Buggies and prams are not allowed in, so plan for a sling or leave them in the car.

How do I get to the CBS Arena by train?
