Wrexham v Bristol City: date, kick-off and how to watch

Bristol City visit the Racecourse Ground on Saturday 1 May 2027 for a Championship match with a lunchtime kick-off, 12.30pm. It falls late in the season, and the club's ballot for it is months away.

Official status: not on sale yet at the official seller (checked 5 Nov 2026).

A single resale area is listed so far. If you want a seat at face value, the path runs through Wrexham's Official Membership and the members' ballot for this match.

The fixture is set for Saturday 1 May 2027 at 12.30pm, at the Racecourse Ground, Mold Road, Wrexham. The time comes from the club's fixture feed. UK broadcast picks for the Championship are confirmed by the broadcasters nearer the date, and none is listed for this game.

For visiting fans, a 12.30pm kick-off means an early departure from Bristol. Wrexham General station is right beside the stadium, so arriving by train avoids the permit zones and parking restrictions around the ground.

How to get Wrexham v Bristol City tickets

Wrexham's 2026/27 rule is simple to state and hard to beat: every home league game goes to a ballot of Official Members, and there is never a general sale.

Join first. Pick an Official Membership: Digital Dragon (£25 for adults), Red Dragon (£35) or Gold Dragon (£50).
Wait for the ballot. Bristol City's has not been announced. Ballots this season have opened 29 to 39 days before the game, which suggests the end of March for a 1 May match. Portsmouth's, for comparison, opened on 20 October for 28 November and closes on 29 October.
Enter once. One entry per person, allocations all-or-nothing. The draw is made on the closing day and the club takes payment from winners.
Try the second ballot. If you were unsuccessful and have not yet been to a game this season, you can go into a second draw for 100 tickets.
Watch the Ticket Exchange. Season ticket holders list unwanted seats there for members, and the club says many appear until matchday.

Prices are the same whoever the opponent: adults from £28 in the University End, more in the Macron and Wrexham Lager stands, with no booking fees. Hospitality packages follow once the ballot closes.

If you are not a member, resale is the route: seats listed on Hellotickets have prices set by sellers, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Wrexham's full home list is on Wrexham tickets.

Good to know before you go

Diary date: late MarchOn this season's pattern, the members' ballot for a 1 May game should open around the end of March. Make sure your membership is active before then.
Early start, early arrivalWith a 12.30pm kick-off, allow time for bag searches: only A4 bags are allowed, and each is searched and tagged at the turnstiles.
No cash neededThe ground is cashless, accepting card and contactless; only the club shop and merchandise trailers take cash.
Park and rideMatchday park and ride runs from the Wrexham County Borough Council building on Ruthin Road, and the club promotes free matchday parking at Eagles Meadow.

Where to sit at Wrexham Racecourse Ground

The only resale area listed for this game is the stand Hellotickets calls "Stok Cold Brew Cofee Stand", the Tech End behind one goal, a home-fans stand with Jonesy's Bar. Opposite it, the Kop at the Crispin Lane End is being rebuilt and is not in use this season.

Along the touchlines are the Macron Stand, on the Mold Road side, with private boxes and pitch-level wheelchair spaces for home fans, and the two-tier Wrexham Lager Stand, which contains the away section. Bristol City's supporters enter its upper and lower tiers through Gates 1-4. Home fans with children under two can only sit in the Wrexham Lager Stand's upper tier.
