Both VfB's ticket calendar and UEFA list the game for Wednesday 9 December 2026 at 9pm local time, 8pm in the UK. The VfB shop lists it as the fifth Spieltag, or matchday, of their Champions League campaign.
The MHPArena is in Stuttgart, and a 9pm start makes this a late evening. UK broadcasters publish their Champions League selections for each matchday, so check their schedules that week rather than relying on a channel listed early.
Official ticketing
Members' sale open since Tue 27 Oct (max 2 tickets each); no general sale announced. Wed 9 Dec, 9pm.
- Members' sale (max 2 tickets; members without a 4-game package or with only one) · from 27 Oct · open
Membership: VfB membership of at least three months (required for the single-game members' sale).
How to get Stuttgart v Lille tickets
Your route at tickets.vfb.de depends on what you already hold.
- Four-game package holders are covered. Season-ticket holders booked the package from 4 to 9 August, other members on 11 August.
- Members without a package, or with only one, buy in the single-game sale, which started at 9am German time (8am UK) on Tuesday 27 October. Membership must be at least three months old and each member can take two tickets. A membership taken out in October 2026 comes too late.
- Fan club members can also get in through the draw that shares out each official fan club's quota.
- Non-members have little to go on at the club, because VfB rarely hold a sale open to all.
If the members' sale clears the stadium, the calendar switches to "Ausverkauft - Freigabe von Restplätzen möglich" and the official Ticketbörse opens for released seats. Quotas that go unused, UEFA's for example, are added later.
Outside those routes, resale is the option. Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, the final price is shown before you pay, and a members' ticket at face value is usually cheaper. For VfB's other home games, see Stuttgart tickets, including Stuttgart v Club Brugge tickets in January.
Good to know before you go
- Members' sale since 27 OctoberThe members' sale opened at 9am German time, which is 8am in the UK, on Tuesday 27 October, with a limit of two tickets per member.
- Fan club members: ask about the drawOfficial VfB fan clubs take part in a draw for their quota at each home game, which gives their members a second way in for Lille.
- Check for late releasesUnused quotas, UEFA's among them, are added after the first sale, and returned seats go on the Ticketbörse, so keep checking the calendar into December.
- Delivery close to the dateHellotickets sends tickets as soon as it receives them from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event, so allow for that when you plan.
Where to sit at MHPArena
With no sourced plan of the MHPArena to hand, the guide here is the stand names sellers attach to their tickets.
The Haupttribüne is the main stand, along the touchline. The Cannstatter Kurve and Untertürkheimer Kurve are the curves behind each goal, and the Lille listings in both are Sitzplätze, seats rather than standing places. The Kärcher Tribüne appears as its own stand in the listings.
Category 1 and Category 2 tickets are sold by price band, so the seller should tell you which stand they are in before you buy. VfB have not published where the Lille supporters will be placed; French fans travelling over should check their own club's away arrangements.
