UEFA have the game down for Tuesday 19 January 2027 at 9pm local time, which is 8pm UK time, at the MHPArena in Stuttgart. That is a fixed slot: Champions League evenings do not move the way league weekends do.
A midweek January kick-off means a late finish for anyone travelling back the same night, so most visitors stay over. UK coverage of Champions League matches is set by the rights holders, who publish their picks for each matchday; check their listings that week. Other European nights are gathered on Champions League tickets.
Official ticketing
Members' sale opens Thu 3 Dec, 9am German time (max 2 tickets); no general sale yet. Tue 19 Jan, 9pm.
- Members' sale (max 2 tickets; members without a 4-game package or with only one) · from 3 Dec · to come
Membership: VfB membership of at least three months (required for the single-game members' sale).
How to get Stuttgart v Club Brugge tickets
VfB split their Champions League tickets into packages and single games, and the Brugge match belongs to the second group.
Already gone: the four-game package
Season-ticket holders could book a package covering four home games from 4 to 9 August, and members on 11 August. Package holders already have their Brugge seat.
Next: the members' single-game sale on 3 December
The remaining tickets go to members without a package whose membership is at least three months old, with a limit of two tickets each. On 5 November the tickets.vfb.de calendar showed the members' sale starting on Thursday 3 December at 9am German time. For comparison, the Lille match on 9 December opened to members on 27 October at 9am.
Later additions and the Ticketbörse
Unclaimed quotas, UEFA's among them, are released into the sale afterwards, and a sold-out game gets the official Ticketbörse for returned seats. Official fan clubs also draw for their quota.
No general sale is listed, and one is rare at VfB. If you are not a member, resale is the realistic route: sellers set their own prices, and the final price is shown before you pay. All of Stuttgart's home games are on Stuttgart tickets.
Good to know before you go
- Standing or seatedStehplätze means a standing place and Sitzplätze a seat; in the Cannstatter Kurve the two are listed apart, so check the word before comparing prices.
- Three months is the cut-offMembership must be three months old to count, so anyone joining VfB after 19 October 2026 cannot qualify for the Brugge members' sale.
- Wait for UEFA's quotaUnclaimed quotas are added to the sale later, so check the VfB calendar again in the weeks before the match even if the first wave sells out.
- Plan a late nightWith a 9pm local kick-off on a Tuesday, the final whistle comes late; book a hotel in Stuttgart rather than relying on a same-night flight.
Where to sit at MHPArena
Our notes on the stadium come from the stand names sellers use, as we have no sourced seating guide for it.
The Cannstatter Kurve and Untertürkheimer Kurve are the curved end stands behind the goals. For this match the Cannstatter Kurve is listed both as Stehplätze, standing places, and as Sitzplätze, seats, and the two are very different tickets. The Haupttribüne is the main stand along the touchline, and the Kärcher Tribüne is listed as a separate stand.
Category 1 and Category 2 are UEFA-style price bands rather than stands, so ask the seller where the block is. VfB have not published the Brugge allocation; travelling Belgian supporters should follow their own club's away sale.
