Stuttgart tickets 2026/27

VfB Stuttgart sell mostly to members: the shop calendar, the three-month rule, the Ticketbörse and resale prices at the MHPArena.

Updated 4 Nov 2026

VfB Stuttgart sell almost entirely to members. Single tickets go on sale in members-only phases, two per member at most, and the calendar of the club's ticket shop shows where each game stands: a dated members' sale, a sale under way, or sold out with the official Ticketbörse open for released seats. A sale for non-members is rare.

Stuttgart home fixtures on this page: 3.

Seats listed on Hellotickets start from £123 across them (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Next up at the MHPArena: Stuttgart v Lille on Wednesday 9 December.

For the Champions League game against Lille, the members' sale opened at 9am German time on Tuesday 27 October.

How to get Stuttgart tickets

How to buy Stuttgart tickets (official route)

Read the shop calendar

Everything starts at tickets.vfb.de, the club's ticket shop, whose event calendar gives the state of every home game. It shows either a members-only sale, limited to two tickets per member, the date on which the members' sale will start, or "Ausverkauft - Freigabe von Restplätzen möglich": sold out, with remaining seats possibly released, and the official Ticketbörse open. That last wording means a sold-out game can still gain seats, so look at the calendar again before giving up on a match.

Join at least three months ahead

Single Champions League tickets go only to members who have no package and have been members for at least three months. Joining a few days before a sale will not qualify you, so take out VfB membership well before the game you have in mind. Members who already hold a four-game package are not part of this single-game sale.

Packages came first

For the Champions League, season-ticket holders could book a four-game package from 4 to 9 August, and members on 11 August. Quotas left unclaimed, UEFA's among them, are added to the single-game sale later, so a match can gain tickets after its first sale.

Lille, Club Brugge and Bayern

The members' sale for Stuttgart v Lille tickets, for the game on Wednesday 9 December at 9pm in Stuttgart, 8pm in the UK, opened at 9am German time on Tuesday 27 October, 8am in the UK. No sale date had been published for Stuttgart v Club Brugge tickets on Tuesday 19 January 2027, or for Bayern Munich's Bundesliga visit, provisionally dated Saturday 23 January 2027.

Sold out: the Ticketbörse

Once a game sells out, VfB open the Ticketbörse, the club's official ticket exchange, and seats may be released there. Check it before you turn to the resale market.

Fan clubs

Official fan clubs receive a quota for every home game, allocated by draw. If you belong to a recognised VfB fan club, ask it about the draw for the game you want before looking elsewhere. The other league-phase games are on our Champions League tickets page.

Stuttgart resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand

Bayern Munich's visit in January is, by a distance, the dearest Stuttgart home game on this page. The two Champions League nights, Lille in December and Club Brugge in January, start at a similar and much lower level.

For the European games, listings tend to open in the Cannstatter Kurve, with the main stand, the Haupttribüne, close behind, while numbered categories and the Kärcher Tribüne sit higher. Bayern is different: prices are high everywhere and bunched together, so moving to another stand saves little, and "East Tribune" and "North Tribune" listings top the range. Hospitality and "seller's choice" listings, where the seller picks the block, are shown apart.

With club sales open almost only to members, resale is the realistic route for most visitors from the UK. Each seller sets their own price, often above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay.

MHPArena: stands, seating and getting there

VfB play at the MHPArena in Stuttgart. Listings for the ground mostly keep their German names, which are simple to decode:

  • Kurve: an end stand behind a goal, here the Cannstatter Kurve and the Untertürkheimer Kurve.
  • Haupttribüne and Gegentribüne: the main stand and the stand facing it, along the touchlines.
  • Untere, Mitte, Obere: the lower, middle and upper sections of a stand.
  • Sitzplätze and Stehplätze: seats and standing places.

So "Haupttribüne Obere" is the upper part of the main stand, and "Cannstatter Kurve Sitzplätze" a seat in that end. Some sellers use English labels such as "East Tribune" or "North Tribune", or numbered categories that name a price band rather than a stand, and sponsored names such as the Kärcher Tribüne also appear: open the map on the listing to see where the seats are.

Both Champions League games kick off at 9pm in Stuttgart, 8pm in the UK. For resale orders, Hellotickets says: "Tickets are sent as soon as we receive them from the seller — sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event." Allow for that when you plan the journey to Stuttgart.

Frequently asked questions

Is it hard to get Stuttgart tickets?

Without membership, yes. VfB sell single tickets in members-only phases, two per member at most, and single Champions League tickets go only to members of at least three months who have no package. A sale open to everyone is rare, and sold-out games move to the official Ticketbörse. Resale seats listed on Hellotickets start from £123.

Why is Stuttgart called VfB?

VfB is short for Verein für Bewegungsspiele, which translates roughly as "club for movement games", in other words a sports club. The letters run through the club's ticketing, from the shop at tickets.vfb.de to the VfB membership that most sales require, and the team plays its home games at the MHPArena in Stuttgart.

How much are Stuttgart tickets?

At the club, tickets are sold through tickets.vfb.de, mostly to members and two per member at most; the members' sale for Lille opened at 9am German time on Tuesday 27 October. On the resale market, seats listed on Hellotickets start from £123 (checked 5 Nov 2026), with Bayern Munich's visit priced well above the Champions League games.

Can I buy Stuttgart tickets without a membership?

Rarely from the club. VfB's single-game sales go to members, and for the Champions League only to members of at least three months who have no package; a general sale is rare. Official fan clubs also receive a quota by draw for every home game. Otherwise, resale listings on Hellotickets are the route, where the final price is shown before you pay.

When do Stuttgart v Lille tickets go on sale?

The members' sale opened at 9am German time, 8am in the UK, on Tuesday 27 October, for members without a four-game package who have held membership for at least three months, with two tickets each at most. The match is on Wednesday 9 December 2026 at 9pm in Stuttgart, 8pm UK time.
